I love supporting pro-Palestinian businesses, so I decided to come to Finjan Coffee House. I looked their menu online and was really excited to try their specialty drinks, but after arriving I found out that those drinks were only offered in the Bay Area locations. I was a bit sad because their drink selection is a bit small. However, they were very helpful in helping me pick out a drink and explaining what some of their other drinks were. The employee was talking on their phone a bit throughout the time I was there, but I didn't mind since I was still deciding on a drink and not ready to order. I got the mocha drink and the Finjan coffee. I enjoyed both but I think I liked the mocha drink more. They had a wide variety of dessert that looked amazing. I want to come back and try them one day! They were absolutely mouth-watering, but too early in the day for me to have sweets. Their coffee house is quite large, with a lot of seating. It seems like a nice place to study! Should have asked for less sweet. The chocolate cake had layers like tiramisu, the chocolate mouse and cream layer were very smooth and rich, and the liquid that the cake was soaked in was yummy as well. Just extremely sweet for me, even when sipping water. Maybe better with a black coffee. The spinach pastry I wouldn't get again, the filling was fine, but the dough was a little bland and almost chewy texture. I dont know how it's supposed to be, but it's not for me. We decided to check this place out on March 1st around 8:30 p.m. . We wanted a little something sweet after we had finished dinner and decided to check this place out. The space itself was very bright yet inviting at the same time. There were many tables inside that you could sit at, a couch area, a game play area, and even a lot more outdoor seating. There was some music in the background as we entered that was loud enough to hear but not loud enough to interrupt a conversation. When we got to the register it was our first time there and we asked the individual behind it what were some of the recommendations or top things people like to get. He pointed to the Dubai cheesecake and then the two milk cakes that we ended up getting, pistachio and Rose. We got a buzzer and our order came out probably in 12 minutes or so. We decided to eat the rose cake there and the other two desserts were taking to go. The cake overall had good flavor the one call out though is the piece we got had been sitting there for a bit and the way we know that is the outside portion that was not against the pan was a bit dry compared to the portion that was next to the pan. I also say that because when I had the pistachio cake at home the entire thing was moist compared to the rose cake that we had at the coffee shop. Did you buy cheesecake was a perfect balance of sweet and savory and definitely our favorite of the three. Lastly the place is definitely popular by the time we left I would say more than half of the outdoor space had been occupied and people were definitely having some great late night bites from what we could tell. I'm currently on a restricted diet so I couldn't try the sweets and most of the coffee drinks. But everything looks delicious and I can't wait for when I can come back to try the cakes! Nonetheless, I enjoyed the green tea and a spinach pastry (forgot the name, not sure if it counts as a fatayer). Service is great and there is tons of comfortable seating if you need to study, get some work done or catch up with friends. It does get busy late at night especially with Ramadan, so I recommend backing into a spot closer to the front if you can. I never realized this coffee shop was here, but I'm glad my friends and I stopped by! It's an extremely spacious area with lounging comfortable sections as well as tables for getting work done. My friends and I stayed to do some work, and there is free wifi. The music is a bit on the louder side, but nothing a pair of headphones can't fix. Parking is also plentiful and easy, and I even saw a booth for valet parking, which I was surprised by. We came on a Sunday afternoon and it wasn't too busy, but as the evening progressed, there was a good amount of people relaxing, hanging out, and doing work. I ordered the karak cup which was delicious and not too sweet, and it was freshly brewed. There was a 10 min wait for it, but I didn't mind waiting. When entering the space you can tell it is very spacious and everything is well decorated and very clean there is music but not too loud this would be an awesome spot to study. The iced Americano is a 5/5 robust, strong coffee taste with a powerful kick of bitterness that would wake the dead. Their finjan latte was much more mellow, nicely sweetened and not to sweet but the flavor of coffee was not overwhelmed by the creamer also a 5/5 Their taro and ube milk cake was also really delicious, don't let the looks fool you this cakes got flavor and it's not soaked to the bone and wet and sloppy like I've had at other middle Eastern cafes, additionally it's not too sweet too and for Asian guy like me, that is the best compliment I could give. It is not the best milk cake I've ever had but I've also never had a taro/ube milk cake either- because of this it's also a 5/5. My boyfriend took me here last night at about 10:30pm (I work graveyard so 10 pm is literally like my 9am) for the first time. I'll start with the good. The place was nice! I enjoyed how it was decorated. The food items looked good, and my drink was enjoyable. For the rest of it...... 1. The cashier who was the only person it looked like working at the time, was not friendly at all. In fact, he seemed so unfriendly I almost didn't want to order. When I ordered an iced pistachio latte I was also shocked by the price, it was almost $9! I was going to get some food to, but decided against it. My friend ordered a matcha and food. The food never came because he forgot to ring it up and her matcha was so expensive she thought she had paid for both items. 2. We sat on the cloth chairs by the wall. They were comfy but also very stained and gross looking. I was actually shocked that they allowed them to look that disgusting. 3. The drink was really good, BUT it had 75% ice and I was done drinking it in 4 sips. So the fact that it was so expensive was a real turn off when I felt like I had barely any of it to drink. 4. It was very quite. We were there for a couple hours catching up and the atmosphere was very somber and odd. I may or may not go back. I'm glad I can say I tried it, but I like Haraz coffee much more than this place. It was very underwhelming. read more

The coffee house itself is lovely--beautiful decor and a warm, inviting layout. Unfortunately, their menu had no tea at all--just coffee, frappes, milkshakes, and smoothies--so we switched to lattes and a matcha drink. We also tried two featured baked goods, which were fresh and pleasantly not overly sweet. Service was quick; our drinks arrived in about five minutes. I'm giving 3/5 stars mainly because of the tea listing mismatch (likely a Yelp glitch) and the presence of bugs indoors--at one point a spider was brushed off my shoulder, and we had to keep shooing flies from our drinks and food. I took my friends to Finjan when they were visiting from NY and we had a lovely time! The drinks were perfect and the food was yummy! We tried a variety of items, including the Dubai chocolate crepe and Strawberry Matcha, both were amazing!! Honestly did not know what I was expecting, since Finjan did not have much of a rating on yelp. There was no store front name on their store so that was also a little confusing to find. Horrible Experience! We had a highly unsatisfactory experience during a recent visit. We chose Finjan specifically to enjoy a relaxing coffee break because we like supporting local businesses & typically find them to be appreciative of their customers but that is NOT the case with Finjin. This was our second visit, the first being satisfactory. Employees were ambivalent to our presence then, but we decided to give it another try. This time, even arriving there was a red flag of what was to come. Looking for parking, we discover in the prime customer parking area in front of the entrance a vehicle with a personalized "Finjun" license plate occupying not 1 but 2 separate parking spaces directly in front of the entrance. Most businesses require employees park in less desirable spaces to leave the best for customers, but clearly this was an owner taking the best for himself. This was no short pop-in either, as the car was there an hour later when we left. It was around 6 on a Friday night and it was nearly empty. On entering, I noticed a dj setting up. Music is typical in coffee shops, but a live DJ could get loud. Before ordering, when I finally got one of the 3 employees behind counter to greet me, I asked if there would be a dj playing music. I explained I was looking for relative peace and he said it starts at 8. Since it was barely 6, I asked if what they were doing was just testing their equipment (paired to gigantic, concert-sized speakers) or if they'd start early. They assured me no & flatly repeated --8:00. So I proceeded to spend $30 on coffee & treats. About 10 minutes later, the speaker tests continued, but I figured it'd be temporary. Another 20 minutes later, the sound escalated but now they were playing techno with rhythmic pounding bass, so loud we couldn't even have a conversation. I looked over, puzzled at the group of young men running the cafe & they simply looked back at me with their "so what" stare. I was at a complete loss as to how a business could operate with such utter lack of professionalism or regard for its patrons. In the end, this experience was giving "gen-z dude party"vibes and we were tolerated but not welcomed. Really wanted to like this place but so disappointed in the unacceptable management. read more

Food and drink were solid and atmosphere was great and felt safe, issue was the valet and parking. Due to a full lot I was offered valet, but had cigarette buds left in my car when I got it returned. Also had some friend shunned away when trying to park due to the full lot, which made them feel uncomfortable.
