    Lobster seafood paella - tasty.

A month later, and I'm still thinking about our amazing dinner at Fin's, including the wonderful, attentive service from Kaylee and the charming atmosphere. We had quite the spread of oysters, sushi and lobster seafood paella. The sushi rolls were my favorite - and the passionfruit mojito was so delicious I had to order two. Will definitely be back!

Fins at Sharkys is on the upper level of Sharkys. The view was gorgeous! Our reservations were for 430pm so we could see the beach and the ocean view for sunset. Breathtaking! Seafood, chops & sushi in airy, modern surroundings with coastal decor, and deck seating. Our waiter was Benny, who was so friendly and courteous and accommodated a birthday dessert once our meal was done. Food was delicious! And I would go back.

We were seated on the patio at a table with a beautiful view. Our server Britany was super helpful and got out drinks to us while we decided on what to eat. We started with the Fresh burrata cheese, prosciutto, cherry tomato confit, olive tapenade, sundried tomato pesto, toasted pine nuts, balsamic glaze, focaccia crostini, micro basil, olive oil - we could have used a few more crostini. We then ordered the Beet and Shrimp salad and a half dozen raw oysters from the New England area. The oysters we clean and full of flavor. The salad was a wonderful combination of ingredients, which together, were bursting with flavor. The goat cheese was not over powering and the beets with the mandarin oranges added a nice touch. This was not a cheap lunch, but I guess we were also paying for the view. We will be back next time we are in Venice Beach. Tasty Travels!

What a beautiful venue! We got patio seating on a beautiful spring day and had 5-star service from Sean. He did a great job at describing options and specials. The food and cocktails were great. The ambience was worth every penny! My grilled mahi sandwich was good and I enjoyed the champagne slaw. My friends had a rainbow roll and the fish and chips. Everything was great. Definitely recommend

Great anniversary dinner for mom and dad! I so appreciate the staff who made it a special night for them . Happy 49! Calamari, corvina with crab & scallops were a hit!

This is probably my favorite restaurant in the area. My children and I love sharkys on a great beach day, but Fins is another level of delicious. We started off with one of their excellent cocktails and the charcuterie. The pairings were exceptional, down to the truffle honey and fig jam. Then we were treated to their bread service. I ordered the cobia and my husband the strip steak. Everything was cooked perfectly. During this time, I was slightly chilly and the manager brought me a blanket. The server also ran to get me a cup of hot coffee. We ended the meal with coffees and the sticky toffee pudding. We were not rushed, we were able to take our time, and the service and atmosphere was perfect. I highly recommend checking out fins for an elevated experience.

My friend and I recently visited Venice and decided to try Find At Sharky's, and let me tell you every bite of food was superb. Every dish had an outstanding flavor, starting from their in house made bread all the way to the dessert. We will definitely be coming back.

Chardonnay our server was very good, helpful yet discrete. She knew right when to bring everything from coffee to chowder to our entrees. My tuna was excellent and my friend enjoyed her chicken topped salad. The best of all was our seafood chowder we shared! So yummy!!! Perfect combo of fish, potatoes, and broth.

Always love this place. We usually eat up in Finn's, but tonight we decided to not make a reservation and eat down here. They played music, we walked along the pier for sunset, and the drinks/food were great. Alex, our waitor was also great. Overall, great night for a little bit colder of a night!

The best place to enjoy a family dinner while watching the sunset. Amy was absolutely amazing with her service to our table and she didn't miss a beat.

Our visit was great. We made a same day reservation. We arrived 15 mins early and were accommodated. The booth was slightly on my bigger belly the sweet host adjusted the table for me. The waitress was training and they both were great. The food came out perfect and we had a great time.

We had drinks at the bar while our table was being cleared. Appetizer was three kinds of oysters, all good. My husband had the surf and turf and I had the cobia. Loved the ambiance and ocean views. Highly recommend!

    Great times at Fin's!

Husband and wife vow renewal dinner. What section would be best to make reservations?

    Outside deck.

Do they take reservations for dinner?

    Yes

What's the difference between Finns at Sharkeys and Sharkeys? Would Finns be suitable for a nice anniversary dinner?

Fins is a higher class dining experience, Sharky's is more casual. Romantic dates, anniversary's and birthdays are best celebrated in Fin's Restaurant. Food and service is a little more expensive, but worth it.

June 2, 2026 - Two for Dinner, our 36th wedding anniversary. (we had last been here a year ago for…read morethe same occasion.) First up - PARKING was awesome!!! we parked in their lot and had plenty of choices. yay. Second - When I had made a reservation for our special occasion I was asked "Inside or Outside" which I picked Inside. I was then ASKED "window table?" to which I happily confirmed yes that would be great. I then confirmed to my wife. 6PM, Inside, & Window seating. When I arrived I was quizzed if I had a reservation. Yes. Then I was asked did i want to dine Inside or Outside and I replied I had confirmed an Inside, window reservation. And he brought us to our inside aisle non-window table. When I asked why not a window as I confirmed - I was informed they only give them out when they are available and he can't guarantee it? I then asked "Why do you ask then when the reservation is made?" He just walked away. Probably not a good candidate for a public or customer facing role. As others have stated (and I in my first review) the staff and server experience here is highly variable. 1/10 Third - Our server was excellent and gregarious. we were seated well over 5 minutes until we able to tender a drink order, but then everything went very smoothly. The bus staff seems "nervous" and inexperienced, I had to ask twice for more water. The bread and butter was a little disappointing. one of the rolls was ok, the other either old, stale or did not sustain the heating process very well - inedible. There were two flatbread crackers in the basket as well. 3/10 Fourth - We both got a cup of seafood bisque soup. This was a smooth and flavorful soup. Chunks of seafood of various types and a little shot of sherry on the side to pour on. (my 10 year AA medal pushed it away - smile) 9/10 My wife ordered a Pompano special with scallops and the chef special vegetables and green beans. This was very substantive entree and she did bring half of it home. The fish was nicely prepared and properly cooked, the vegetables were cooked al dente and not just something on the plate - good job. The green beans so nice as a vegetarian / vegan plant based eater I am going to order them as my entree! 9/10 I ordered a shrimp cocktail as part of my main. I haven't had shrimp in a few years, and these were fairly decent. the cocktail sauce was disappointing as I am a Kelchner's horseradish and Heinz Chili Sauce kind of guy.... pink from the 50/50 mixture. The sauce here was a restaurant pack can of catsup and a splash of tabasco. yech. 5/10 Also as my main an Arugula Salad with Roasted Beets, NO goat cheese, Almonds, Honey-Citrus Vinaigrette, Raspberry Coulis. A VERY nice salad with an extremely fresh and beautiful collection of arugula lettuce, and the roasted yellow and purple beets were nicely cooked and prepared. The dressing was light and tasty and not some gloppy oil slick of goo. 10/10 Finally, our server brought us out a little keylime pie to commemorate our occasion, we were actually pretty full from the dinner and declined dessert but she brought this out and we took a few pictures!!! VERY nice touch!!! Thank you. I think the kitchen has improved over the last three reviews and last three or so years. The reservation and front desk and the service is variable and inconsistent, still. The communications and reservation situation is flawed - a reservation is between two parties - if we agree on something the expectation is we BOTH deliver (I arrive on time and pay, and the establishment seats and accommodates as per the expectation) Both should expect what was agreed to? Obviously this is all personnel and seasonally dependent here in Venice, FL, now that we enter the slow and less tourist oriented I think the employees and the patrons will be less wired and unpredictable. My wife and I have discussed a mid summer visit to the Crow's Nest - maybe for my birthday in August?

Actually our very first time here we couldn't get a seat because it it that popular. I love their chicken and dumpling soup. This is THE definition of comfort for to me. It tastes like a quality chicken pot pie with actual goodies, none of this whole farmland of potatoes, carrot, and peas plus some broth and butter and a shred of chicken tail and calling it a "chicken soup." This was a hearty soup with chunks of white meat chicken and soft dumplings. Basically chicken dumpling soup as they say, vs potatoes cube soup. It is a must have. I really did myself a disservice and only got a cup.... on my own vacation after working throughout the entire pandemic on-site. The gulf shrimp platter (I got blackened) absolutely delicious. I love the Bourbon Sriracha sauce and used it as a dipping sauce for my fries. You can also never go wrong with hearty mashed potatoes and their gravy. The dark meat fried chicken was also very good- lightly battered and right out of the fryer. I chose collards and mashed potatoes w gravy. The greens were tender and very tasty. The mashed potatoes were also good. The sides and a square of sweet cornbread rounded out the southern comfort food platter. Beer and wine is served along with sweet teas and soda.
