    Seed crackers. Yum!!

Outstanding! They have a seasonal menu and I absolutely lovely what I ordered! 21 vegetable soup was delicious and cozy; loved the kale chips on top. Polenta fries were perfection! Crunchy outside, warm soft inside, and the dips were perfect compliments, creamy and salty. Pork chop was divine! One of the best I've ever had. So juicy and flavorful with orange zest that was a surprising flavor combo that worked! The polenta and cooked pepper side were wonderful. I cleaned the plate! The dessert was so good! Fudge layer, creamy top, and I loved the liquor that flavored the cake and the litter crunchy cookies on top. Yum! Service was excellent and the restaurant was beautiful, though very noisy since it was packed.

Love the horticultural decor throughout! The food was delicious! The service was impeccable! Our server even asked if we wanted to wait a little between courses, which we love! We will definitely be back!

01/09/2026 We have been here a few times before and always enjoyed everything about Fiorentini. This visit... not so much. The service, as always was spot on... timely and courteous. The food... 2 orders of seared Chilean sea bass, 1 order of Cavatelli (with wild boar ragu and pecorino toscano) and 1 order of risotto acquarello (risotto with kale puree and duck leg ragu) were all very very good... if small in portion. But I understand 'fine dining.' But what really had us talking was the ridiculous portion of mussels. (See picture) 4 breaded mussels for 18$!!!! That is considerably more pricey than a half dozen oysters in most restaurants. ($4.50 a piece!) I'm sorry, but this dish is way over priced for what we received and frankly, they were not that tasty... several mussels having grains of sand in them. Oh, one other issue I had... by the time our dessert came out, my coffee was cold... finished actually. I want to love Fiorentini as we have in the past, but these couple of issues really put us off for a bit.

First time here on a Wednesday evening, reservations were for 6:30 it was empty when we arrived. We shared the salad w/ walnuts & cranberries w Ricotta, it was fresh & delicious, enough to split. For dinner I had the taggiatelli w mushroom ragu it was absolutely amazing. My friend had the tortellini w butternut squash in this most delicious aromatic olive oil w a harvest of fall flavors & spices, also absolutely amazing. Only negative thing was they only gave her a V small "appetizer like" portion. Which is why it's not 5 stars. I had the afagotto for desert & we shared the pumpkin tart, also amazing! Pumpkin filling was def home made & tart was crusty & flavorful, it had a spun sugar pumpkin crust on the side that was like nothing I've ever had before, so delicious. Waiter was friendly, informative & attentive. There was no rush for our table bc by 7:30 this place started to fill in almost every table! On a Wednesday, no less. It was a calm beautiful atmosphere, quiet, beautifully decorated w perfect lighting. Perfect for date night!Kitchens are exposed which is a nice touch. It gave NYC upper East side vibes & i cannot wait to go back! The experience at Fiorintini was nothing short of spectacular. This chef doesn't miss!

Love, love love the decor in this beautiful restaurant

This was out first time here and all the food was very fresh, service was on point, Restaurant was beautiful inside, and very clean.. Food was very good. Steak tartare simple yet delish. Only suggestion is maybe serve it with some crisps or crakers on the side. Entrees and apps are small. We also got the halibut and crab ravioli, the crab ravioli was the only thing we would not get again. The burnt pieces of garlic make the dish very dark and not light, one ravioli for the dish was served. Thank God we got the papperdelle too! All in all we enjoyed our meal, and will be back again soon!

Alright. This is a big review. I've wanted to come here for a long time and i finally did. I've read the mixed reviews and i have friends who dined there so they gave me their feedback. The place is nice. It's decorated lovely. I love the comfortable chairs as well. The service started off a bit slow but overall i can't complain. The waitress checked in on us and asked us if we needed anything. The only odd thing i noticed was when we ordered a bottle of sparkling water one of the girls poured it into 3 glasses and was going to put the bottle in the ice bucket but i already had a bottle of wine there so she took the sparkling bottle away. When she came by later during our entrees i asked about the sparkling water and she seemed a bit confused then she said the bottle was finished. That was kinda odd. I highly doubt we finished that bottle when only 3 small glasses were served but i didn't make a big deal about it. We ordered 3 apps and they came at the same time and within two mins of getting served our bread and olive oil with these salted crackers. Wish the olive oil was salted or seasoned oh yeah. MORE ON THAT LATER For apps we got the Bone Marrow with bacon onion crostini. Steak tartate was presented nicely and the onion puree went along well. We really enjoyed both of those apps. We had the scallop tartare and eventho the description of the dish sounded good it completely lacked salt. I needed salt, some spice or even lime juice. Unfortunately this dish felt flat. Ravioli stuffed with crabmeat was good I ordered scallops with this seafood sauce that had chopped clams and mussels. Very good. I highly enjoyed this dish but $46 for 3 scallops? I don't mind paying a premium price for premium quality but should be 4 scallops. My brother in law ordered the pappardelle with ragu. He was about 90% finished when he said the sauce is good but this dish needs salt. Big time. My sister tried it and says oh yeah needs salt. Now i'm curious. Because this has been brought up many times when i'm having a food conversation with my friends. I tried a sample of his dish and yeah. No salt. No seasoning. No flavor. It is what it is On to dessert. Strawberry composition wasn't a hit. Just okay and $16 for that? My carrot olive oil cake was good. Not overly sweet. Nice and moisty but they ruined it by adding a flavorless chocolate gelato on top. Why? It wasn't good at all. No need for gelato or at least put it on the side. I wouldn't complain if it tasted good but it didn't. Will i come here again? Yeah sure why not. I didn't love it but didn't hate it either. I wanna try the pasta next time i come. I want to leave there saying "i can't wait to come back" unfortunately i left there feeling it was just average.

Been waiting to try this place for a menu that gave me more options as the menu is seasonal. I finally got an opportunity to go and it was a great experience. The ambiance is great and its decorated very well with upscale vibe. The waitress was very helpful with giving us recommendations and believes in the food along with the fresh local produce they use to create the menus. The farm to table is what really intrigued me about this place to eat with freshness and quality meals. The service was great overall! For appetizer we ordered the following: -NJ poached pear salad: which was delicious and dressed well. All the texture and flavors went together so well. Definitely recommend trying this salad as I am picky salad eater and I thoroughly enjoyed it. -Honeynut Squash Agnolotti: I was curious to try this and it did taste good however it was a little on the sweeter end for me. So as long as you like sweet this is a good option as pasta is fresh. For entrees: -handmade pappardelle with seasonal mushroom sauce: the pasta was fresh which I loved and it was seasoned well. A little too much mushroom in sauce but overall enjoyed this dish. -risotto cacio de pepe: was creamy and seasoned well. For dessert, it was ginger-pecan pumpkin which was delicious fall yumminess in a bite.

If you're anywhere near Rutherford and haven't been to Fiorentini yet, you're seriously missing out. This is not your typical Italian spot, it's a seasonal, farm-to-table experience that brings elegance, comfort, and bold flavors together in one stunning, wood-wrapped space. Fiorentini is the passion project of Chef Antonio De Ieso, who brings his Southern Italian roots to New Jersey with a modern, elevated twist. The menu changes every quarter to reflect local harvests and small-farm partnerships, and the care in every dish shows. It's a single-page menu. Confident, focused, and intentional. Honestly, that's all it needs. The atmosphere alone is worth the trip. Beautiful wooden interior, open concept, warm lighting, it feels like you've stepped into a rustic Italian villa that just happens to know great design. It's the kind of place you could bring a date, your parents, or just yourself when you need to feel taken care of. Now, let's talk food. We started with the house bread and flaxseed crackers. That bread? Perfection. Golden crust, soft interior, exactly how it should be. The crackers added a unique, nutty flavor that made even the olive oil taste elevated. Next came the burrata with prosciutto and lemon sauce. The cheese was rich, the prosciutto soft and smoky, but the lemon sauce? That's what brought it all together. Bright, zesty, and honestly kind of genius. The lobster rolls felt like what would happen if a New England classic spent a summer in Manhattan. Refined, fresh, and full of flavor. For mains, the spinach gnocchi with peas and bacon was absolute comfort. Soft, delicate pillows of gnocchi that somehow still felt light. Meanwhile, the pork tortelloni was savory and rich, the kind of dish that makes you close your eyes for a second to appreciate what's happening. And finally, the farm-seared chicken breast. I know chicken doesn't usually steal the show, but this one absolutely did. Perfectly crisp skin, juicy inside, and the roasted carrots on the side were so good they nearly upstaged the whole plate. One important note -- Fiorentini is a dry restaurant. No alcohol. But honestly, the food is so thoughtfully done that you won't even notice. It gives the whole experience a grounded, intentional feel, and it keeps the focus exactly where it should be: on what's on your plate. Bottom line? Fiorentini is an absolute must if you appreciate great food, genuine hospitality, and thoughtful atmosphere. It's seasonal Italian with heart, depth, and just the right amount of flair. Book a table. Thank yourself later.

Buffalo Chicken Caesar for the win…read more My mom recently stopped by the Hackensack location and brought me back the Buffalo Chicken Caesar Salad, and baby, it was delicious. Y'all know I love a good Buffalo Chicken Caesar salad, but I love it even more when it's done right. The chicken was cooked perfectly, the dressing was on point, and everything tasted fresh. The salad was light but still filling, which is exactly what I want when I'm eating a salad. It satisfied me without making me feel heavy afterward. We also got the sweet potato fries and the fried zucchini sticks, and both were really good. Now, if you know me, then you know I love a fried zucchini stick, so I was excited about those. The sweet potato fries were also a hit, and they came with a chipotle mayo that paired really well with them. One thing I liked is that you can customize your order. You're not stuck with the dressing that automatically comes with the salad. You can switch it up and choose whatever dressing you want, which I always appreciate because sometimes you want to change things up. My mom got a salad too, but unfortunately, I didn't get a picture of hers because she took it down before I could. And when my mom takes something down, I already know it's good. Overall, everything was fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. So if you're looking for a good salad spot, I'd definitely recommend giving Salad House a try. As for me? The Buffalo Chicken Caesar gets my vote every time.
