VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!!!! I live in Arizona and I am a Peterborough girl! I have always ordered flowers from Fiori (for many years) for my mum for birthdays/Christmas/Easter/Mothers Day etc. and always been very happy in the past! I have spent TONS of money over the years at Fiori and was Happy UNTIL NOW!! I called on Friday and ordered flowers for mum for Mothers Day. Simple right?? I spoke to a lady instead of the usual guy who I assume is the owner. She said, "do you want a posy". Me - "Yes, that sounds nice". I told her the colours and what I wanted in it.. all good, paid (almost 50 dollars with the delivery). Delivered on Saturday and greatly upset!! The posy resembled a wreath that you would put on a coffin!!! Flat and in a tray with a few flowers sticking up out of the green foam stuff! I asked for bright pinks and yellows and babies breath! The colours were dreary and dismal and "bland" I was super upset when I spoke to my mum on Mothers Day, she said my brothers and my step dad said it looked like a wreath and what was Jayne thinking!!! I called first thing this morning and told the owner what I thought and that there must have been a mistake. He informed me that a POSY is a flat table arrangement ! News to me!!!!! A posy is a small flower arrangement (like what a bridesmaid carries)!! He did not offer anything to me, not even an apology for "my misunderstanding"!!! He did however say he would make a "note" for the future!!! I am disgusted with the service and the amount of money I paid for this!!! One last thing (which I also told him), my dad passed away a year ago Saturday (March 14th) and even though my parents divorced when I was a child - my mum getting this delivered on the 14th hit the nail on the head for me!!! For me this is the best florists in Peterborough. A charming shop on Lincoln Road, selling the best quality flowers I have ever purchased and been lucky enough to receive. Walking into this shop, one could almost forget you are in Peterborough, and in a lovely hidden garden filled with beautiful flowers and plants. A family run business, the staff are very helpful and courteous, making gentle suggestions when preparing your flower arrangement, even for a sombre occassion. I have had bouquets last in my home for nearly 18 days, emitting a wonderful fragrance. If you are a Lily lover, then you will not be disappointed. I currently have an Orchid which is still going strong, and this is day 12 no signs of flagging gorgeous. If you are looking to impress by giving flowers then you cannot go wrong with Fiori. Ignore the very suspicious review above and don't buy from this florist! They delivered flowers that were overpriced for what I received (very few flowers), and that started to die the next day. I can accept problems if the company involved are apologetic and try to rectify the problem. All I got was an earful down the phone from a very rude man.
