Shall we find out? We are always on the journey for self improvement and reflection. While shopping with my daughter I rediscovered the importance of being my self . Was this what I used to be like? The redirected energy of dark to light . The battle that we endure each day ! The Phoenix Saga always touched upon me . Recently I've been reading and rereading them playing the mantra of her message . That inner battle and strength and struggle that Jean Grey goes through to find balance and inner peace . Ultimately she absorbs and makes them bind together as one union and it makes her whole again . All comes to pass. Sometimes this is what I own with all that comes and continues to pass through me . They've got a truckload of them. Picked up a really cool brooding Batman poster for my 8 year-old as well. They also have comics for all ages. My kiddo picked up a Dogman comic while I picked up some doorstopper tomes from Marvel, DC and Indie Comics publishers. With one of the more extensive back issues and graphic novel collections I have seen in the area, Cosmic is run by friendly and helpful people whose love of the genre is evident. Yes there is some merch, but the focus is what you came for, the stories. I never feel rushed here and there is even a couch to sit and read some of the promotional comics while my 21 year old buried his head in the backissue boxes searching for that one cyclops or teen titans story. Definitely worth a trip for the comic fan.

It was featured on Swagglehaus' YouTube channel. And he loved it. Come here and you'll see why. Everything is so organized and I mean OR-GAN-IZED. Every title is behind its proper tab. Older books are in Mylar bags with acid free boards. Some of the books even have estimated grades if you send them in for slabbing. The walls are covered with slabs and I could droll at all the titles. Overall five stars. The one bad thing is they don't sell individual backing board or comic book portfolios. A fair number of DVDs of various sci-fi movies, sci-fi comic books, and many figures from the Walking Dead. I had no idea who the characters are but they have them. The theatre in the back is less than 50 seats so, yes, you would call it an intimate theatre. No bells and whistles--just some theatre style seats, five rows deep and four on each side of an aisle. The seats are mounted on some risers so there's a good view of the stage. For this performance, a curtain was drawn across the front to cover the white screen used for showing sci-fi movies. For this play, that was more than adequate. Periodically there are small plays mounted here and now that I've been here, I won't hesitate to come back! Great job to the two who performed in "A Life in the Theatre!"

There were so many fun trinkets, tote bags, notebooks, plushies... and my favorite part? A pet bunny! I saw these cute animal figurines that hold one single candle, my favorite was the octopus ($55). It's small and fits in the palm of your hand. I wish I had bought it, because how often do you get to blow out a birthday candle sitting in a cute, little octopus. This is a great shop and more than worth a visit. There is only street parking, but you might get lucky and find a spot at the front. The seating for the coffee shop is limited. Finding a table for more than two people can be challenging, there were only two 4-tops, 2-3 seats at the bar and maybe four 2 seaters.
