Have to update my review here. I've been going to FotM since it opened in Wash Park and to the Highlands one prior. Lately, I've been disappointed. The prices on everything keep creeping up while the quality goes down. I understand food inflation, but coupled with declining quality I'm just no longer a regular customer anymore. The last 3 times I've gone, the fries were very brown on the outside but not overcooked, indicating the oil was old and needed to be changed, this gives them an off flavor that's not good. When done right, their fries are fantastic, however this is a regular issue now. Also, they changed their burger in the past year, something I used to order a bunch, but not at all anymore. It used to be a grass fed patty and now they call this a wagyu blend, but it's awful and tasteless compared to the old one. Additionally, their wings (for some reason only when getting to-go) are either way over sauced, sitting in a pool of sauce and thus get soggy or they're under-sauced. The issue with the oil is really what gets me though. I'm guessing they're dragging it out longer before changing it to save money, but they're doing it at the cost of quality and now they've lost a regular customer. I may revisit next year, but not anytime soon. Employees are relatively friendly and service is ok, ambience is typical of a wing joint. read more

Went a second time and the buffalo bleu wings were just as tasty! This is truly my favorite sauce from here. Fries were great & tater tots too. Great craft beer options & good cocktails. In the future, I'd pass on the cilantro lime unless you like a salsa type of sauce on your wings. Service was fine, they were super busy on Saturday at 8:00 pm. Waiting 45 min for wings felt super long, which was probably the biggest L of the dine in experience. I'd probably do take out again in the future. Great wings! read more

I am a big Buffalo chicken wrap fan and this one has to be right near the top of my list. I have nothing but positive things to say about this joint! The wings are great, tasty 1/3 pound burgers, and incredible salads. This is regarding their Super Bowl pre order. I was waiting in line for a long time just to pay for the preorder. I kind of wished they would just let us pay when we preorder to avoid having to wait in line to pay, I think that would help lighten the congestion up. The wings here are really good so I enjoy going here for takeout but I feel like the customer service here is still lacking and not that great. FOTM continues to be our wing place when in the mood despite now living about 30-minutes away. They are a bit pricier and smaller than other wing places, however, almost every time we've gone we've gotten more wings than we ordered (ex. 10 instead of 9, 14 instead of 12, etc), which is a really nice treat! We ordered 3 of the 9 combos with spicy peanut, raspberry habanera, garlic parmesan, buffalo, and lemon pepper sauces. We also got a 5 boneless jerk wings and the Jamaican jerk sandwich with a side of tots for the table. The tots came out probably 10-12 minutes before the rest of the wings which was definitely a bummer as we were hoping to eat them with the wings, but in order to have them hot, we had to eat them beforehand. All of the wings were great, however, we are unsure of whether the spicy peanut was actually spicy peanut or something else as when it was delivered the waitress said bourbon chipotle, but the sauce didn't really taste like peanut, bourbon, or chipotle... whatever it was it was really good, but definitely a mystery sauce. The boneless jerk wings were huge - more like tenders than wings in my opinion. The Jamaican jerk is my go to sandwich here and it is always fire. The reason for the four instead of five stars this time around was because of the early arrival of the tots throwing off the meal and the ability to have something neutral to cleanse and de-spice the pallet. read more

I usually love this place but I was really disappointed last time I came. Saw they had a special going on for a pimento dip. I usually love pimento dip but it was honestly kind of inedible? The dip was $12, and came with some bread. I was kinda shocked how small it was when it came out, but I didn't finish it anyway. The bread they brought with it was pretty burnt, so I asked if they had any other bread they could bring out instead. Server was super nice about it but when she brought the new bread out she ran away before I could process how burnt the 2nd batch was as well. It wasn't her fault, but I couldn't get past the burnt taste. Not sure if that was why I didn't like the dip either, didn't really have anything else to try it with as a control (even a spoon). After spending $18 on a single 10oz beer (after tax/tip, but should have paid attention more tbh) I just felt really guilty for trying to show my SIL our fav restaurant and regretting everything I got. My partner and I both don't love the raspberry habanero sauce, but that's personal preference - I think raspberry just doesn't meld as well in flavor with habanero and chicken the way a more neutral flavor like mango does. I started with the Ari's Mango NA-Margarita with lime & lemon, mango puree, jalapeno muddled OJ, and a taijin rim for $7. A spicy drink. I got the small Asian salad. Very fresh produce with just enough salad dressing. My entree was a basket of boneless chicken tenders (3 with Hot Buffalo sauce & 3 with BBQ sauce) with green chili covered tater tots. Spicy sauces and very spicy green chili. My drink lasted my entire meal. I needed a full glass of ice water to cool down. I saw 2 happy hours (3-6pm and 9pm to close) on weekdays. A great meal. Where is your go to wing place? (More specifically American wings, not Korean Fried chicken) Literally, every time I get asked thing question.. my answer is fire on the mountain. First thing, there Jamaican jerk is amazing!! (I literally just buy this sauce to bring home). It has a tropical flavor profile with a hint of sweetness and spice. If you ask for a side of cajun dry rub and dip the Jamaican jerk wings in it, the combo is mind blowing. Another go to flavor is their extra hot buffalo sauce. It has a slight kick to it, which balances well with the Jamaican jerk or their parmesan garlic sauce. Oh! FOTM is the only place where their parmesan garlic sauce does not leave a gross after sensation (personal opinion). As much as I love parmesan garlic sauces, I always felt gross afterwards. But this one doesn't. Finally, I am a sucker for some good fried pickles. And FOTM has some good fried pickles that is a great appetizer with a nice cold cup of beer of your choice. My only complaint is that their parking is okay. You have to find street parking most cases. read more

I originally had them in Portland and and it's now a must stop whenever I'm visiting. I was looking for wings while out visiting Denver and to my shock and awe, I saw that they are here too! However, wasn't a huge fan of being seated and then having to go up to the counter to order - was kind of a hassle to have to write down our orders and take 2 ID's up to the counter so the other person could stay at the table (maybe someone didn't need to stay at the table since we were specifically seated there...? Not sure). Our drinks were delicious and the food came out in a reasonable amount of time. My husband said his wings were a touch small, but overall very good.
