Service was very friendly and helpful and then everything went downhill quickly. Area behind the bar in public view is very messy and disorganized. Looks like a messy store room with warm six packs of beer all over. Definitely not a place you would want to sit and watch one of the 3 tvs. Restroom was very dirty. Urinal was stained black. If the public view areas are this bad I am afraid to see the kitchen. Food was expensive, but most places are. Quality of the food was subpar. I like this place for their wings and always go here when I'm in the area and craving wings, I got the combo bone in wings with seasoned fries and stuck with the classic Lemmon Pepper and Original Buffalo with a side of ranch. The wings were great in size and the seasoning was good. They were offering Thai Tea for $3 at the time and it was pretty good too. Came here for a generous Yelp event; and of course, we have to continue to support. :) Sorry for such a late review... But we have been here a few times since I wrote this, so the feedback is from all the visits. Quality/Quantity - 21 wing flavors! Got ten wings to go. The Malaysian Curry and Korean Kick. The Korean Kick wins! I also think because the Korean Kick was not a rub, it was a juicier wing. But all were very good. Oh, I also got 3 sauces. The 3 sauces I got were: Honey Mustard, Buffalo and BBQ. Again, all of which were good. But the wings did not really need any dipping sauces. My wife really liked the honey mustard. It was her favorite. She also liked the buffalo sauce which had a little vinegar in it. On a separate visit we came for their Wednesday bone in special; see picture. 10 wings for $9.50. The two flavors we got were the Malaysian Curry (again) and the Dragon. My wife liked the Malaysian Curry flavor better. They were both good to me, but I would prefer an even more pronounced taste/flavor. Again, the wings were of generous size. Owner suggestion - I recommend improving "to go" orders. And have perforated boxes so it does NOT create condensation and make the deep fried crispy foods soggy... And if possible, use aluminum foil rather than parchment paper for easy re-baking the next day. So today I finally got to try Fire Wings. Wifey Placed a phone Oder to go - Wifey Ordered Some Chicken Tenders (not pictured) good size pieces tho for her ,15 boneless with Korean / Peanut Butter/ Mango Habanero for me , some Tater tot's & Garlic fries. Something to note asked for extra garlic on the fries since I had read some reviews saying it needed more , they said they don't do that. That's very odd to me . The fries themselves were good crinkle cut, but definitely wasn't very much garlic . Tasted the tots and they were good tots just basic nothing special . Now for my Boneless Wings . Unfortunately each of the flavors was lacking. Heard so many good things about the peanut butter and it was ok. They all just seemed not super flavorful. The chunks are great size pieces but they were kind of tough and not tender . The mango habanero was of the better ones but not very much heat at all. The Peanut butter was good but definitely could have used more sauce I guess. They needed more flavor pop to them all. I still wanna try the Bone-In with some of these flavors again . For a fast causal-ish chain place these wings are legit. I was by myself so I got to get classic buffalo, which is one of my favorites but something my partner doesn't eat. The butter in the buffalo sauce was the perfect compliment to the tang of the hot sauce. The wings were obviously fresh, and well cooked. The fries were nice and crunchy, but nothing outstanding. The price was a little high at $15 for a 6 wing combo, but nothing unreasonable. My biggest complaint is that it took a longer time than I expected to get my food. This is partly my fault for being in a rush, and I went at a slightly odd time (3pm). So I don't know if they had to warm up the fryers, or it just always take 15 minutes to cook the wings because they are making them without pre-cooking them. Next time I will place my order online ahead of time, and avoid the issue! Also they have a wing Wednesday special, that I think I might have to check out sometime soon! read more

Absolute great experience but would recommend the only thing be the oil used to be cleaner. Add the chili cheese fries to the mix, you can't go wrong with some chili cheese fries; but it was a very ball park chili cheese fries experience, which if you like it. Awesome! If not; then this is not for you. -BBQ fries: 5/5 (the go to) If you're coming in for this you won't be upset! This is the game changing winner in so many aspects. Grabbed some wings and fries at Fire Wings and was pleasantly surprised at how good they were. I ordered BBQ Chipotle and buffalo wings with seasoned fries and they were some of the best I've had in Reno. The BBQ Chipotle was both sweet and spicy and the buffalo was a little more flavorful than the standard. One unexpected attribute was how crispy the wings are cooked as they almost neared the line of being overcooked but we're just right and extra good with the sauces. Although ironically, the seasoned fries almost stole the show as they were cooked and seasoned to perfection with no disrespect to the wings. The staff was also very patient and kind. Overall, a very conveniently located being next to the theater and solid place to get wings and fries at good value. After a long day on the road, I just wanted a hot meal and relax.. We were staying at the Hyatt Place, and Fire Wings was within walking distance. I was greeted by a nice cashier and ordered a 3 piece chicken strip combo with fries and ranch. For my drink, I just got cold water. I wanted whatever was the spiciest sauce on the tenders, which was their "fire wing" sauce. My order was to-go, so I could eat in our room back the Hyatt Place. I felt like it took longer than expected for my food. It was far from busy too.. kinda dull atmosphere inside and just quiet. I grabbed a plastic fork and some napkins. Once my food was given to me, I asked for a plastic knife since I didn't see any by the fountain machine. I was told they don't have knives.. so a lack of basic utensils... which was disappointing because I wanted to cut my saucy chicken and dip it into the ranch with my fork.. but whatever, I am hungry I can make do. Got to the room and started to chow down. The crinkle fries were VERY salty. Someone was a little heavy handed with the salt.. the chicken tenders were NOT fire spicy at all. Connor was the cashier at fire wings. Ever since we did a yelp here at fire wings in the Summit mall we have come back a few times. They have great deals on Monday and Tuesday at $.85 boneless wings you get five piece minimum and you can choose different sauces. On Wednesday they have bone in at $.95 Per Wing. These wings are not small. They are pretty big. I had trouble ordering the sauces cause I didn't know what my son wanted so he was super nice and just said take your time. No worries no stress. I love when you go to an establishment and they are like that. So five stars for fire waves. Right next to the Hyatt place in the Summit mall. Stopped by Fire Wings at The Summit and left pretty impressed. Gave it 4 stars. Solid experience overall. Tried the Mango Habanero wings, which had great flavor. Sweet, tangy, and smoky. My 1st time at Fire Wings in the summit mall. The restaurant was clean and open.. the server was friendly. They are lots of options for everyone to choose from. I chose the classic buffalo and a Jamaican dry rub with veggies. The carrots and celery were crunchy, there wasn't any blue cheese in the dipping sauce but it still had a good flavor.... On to the wings. I chose bone in but you could also choose boneless and other options. Extremely disappointed.... I ordered the 3 strip combo with fries and a soda. I chose salt and pepper flavor for my chicken strips. Customer service was great! Once I got back to my desk and opened it up I was extremely disappointed. I've had plenty of salt and pepper wings that come with deep FRIED onions and Jalapeño, so I thought that was a great idea to do that with chicken strips as well. Unfortunately I was wrong... These pre frozen strips were served with grilled onions and bell peppers (extremely soggy ones) making the strips on the outside soggy. Not only were the vegetables grilled but they also added sooooo much salt to them they weren't edible. I never had the wings here and not sure if I'll ever be back. Wings were plump and cooked well, service was attentive with the staff bringing our food out to us as soon as the order came up as he was the only front-line person with two people in the back. Where is the staff??! With online orders coming in and a line of people - the rest of my review will begin to make sense. Inside the restaurant was much to be desired as it seemed empty inside there, like you walked into someplace that wasn't inviting in anyway. Even though the TVs had different sports playing on them, somehow it felt dirty, empty and well let's just get to the elephant in the room. The restaurant WAS dirty with trays on the receptacles that needed to be picked up, the bar had boxes along with odd things stacked all over it that seemed to NOT be being used, ALL and when I say ALL of the tables after ANY customer left was NOT wiped down by any staff member - I mean ALL!! Customers were responsible for throwing away their own items - which I am completely ok with but having to wipe down your own table with a handy wipe - UMMMM NOT OKAY!! I didn't even attempt to use the bathroom facilities as I can't imagine what the nightmare looks like if the inside of the restaurant isn't being cleaned. Keep in mind YOU eat with your hands here - YUCK!!! Thank the almighty for hand sanitizer!! Future - I hope the owner's read this, re-train staff or hire additional staff so that there is help for a Saturday night for dinner rush and the ability to clean. Visited 12/6/2025 I couldn't believe the great customer service I received from two young adults working there I believe they were both in high school. They were friendly, attentive, and did a great job. The only issue was that there were just two employees on a Saturday night, both underage, so beer couldn't be served. When I first walked in there was no one around but they came quickly to the counter. I let them know I was there for the yelp elite event, they took my order for the 10 piece combo and it was about a 15 min wait. The store was very clean throughout. I took my food to go and made my way back home. Once home I sat down to eat my meal. Surprisingly the food was still hot. I first tasted the fries which were seasoned well and had a nice crisp to them. I next tried the fire wings which I felt could have had a bit more sauce but still had great flavor and was not too hot. The Thai chili was next, it had a nice sweet but a hint heat behind it. My only complaint is that they have Pepsi products, but they did have the raspberry ice tea which is my go to with places that have Pepsi. If in the area I would definitely go back, but given it's on the other side of town from where I am at I would not go out of my way to go get wings from them. They should definitely consider ope one in the north part of Reno. read more

My husband and I actually really like Fire Wings. Located at The Summit in South town of Reno right next to the movie theaters. (Where the old Fat Burger used to be... if you know, you know) First off, there is a good mixture of things you can get from Fire Wings. From traditional wings, boneless wings, chicken sandwiches, loaded fries, more deep fried goodies, and flavors you know you would not be able to find at a food chain like Wingstop and BWW. My recommendations for flavors: Salt and Pepper, Saigon Street, and Fire Wing. Also... traditional bone in wings all the way. The fire fries will always be my go to as my side with my wings, but if I wanted fries and wings all in one bite, I DEF recommend to try their Buffalo Tender Fries, you may not be able to see it on the menu, but if you ask they will make it for you and in my opinion, it's so good. The bar is still a work in progress, so for those wondering why the bar has not been set up, I do believe they are still in the process of getting it all set up for the public. We were excited to try out a new wing place because we love wings! When we walked in, we noticed all the furniture/decor and ambiance was the same as the sushi restaurant that was here previously. The bar had beer bottles on display, but was cluttered and didn't seem like the bar was utilized. It was a little dark inside for the type of food joint it is. The ambiance didn't really match the type of food restaurant it was. The staff was friendly and greeted us quickly when we approached the counter to order. The food I would rate a 3 out of 5. We ended up getting a Nashville hot chicken sandwich with garlic fries and the Saigon boneless wings with the seasoned fries. The chicken sandwich was way over cooked. The garlic fries were just drenched in garlic butter. The boneless wings were not breaded properly and the breading was lifting off of the chicken. We split an 8 piece wing combo which comes with crinkle fries and a drink. It came to $16. I got a cup for water at no charge. We ordered two flavors and chose Parmesan garlic and Lemon pepper. We paid and gave our name then got our drinks and sat down. We were sure to get plenty of napkins and wipe towelettes. Our order came to our table pretty quickly. We got two sauces, blue cheese and honey mustard. I love chicken wings and was excited to try them! They looked good although swimming in grease and on the smaller side of wings . On first taste of the Parmesan garlic I thought there wasn't much flavor but the wings were nice and hot. Second was Lemon pepper and also not much flavor. Very disappointed that the seasonings weren't more tasty but the dips helped. The fries were just ok also not much flavor.
