Mari was FANTASTIC and her treatment and professionalism were excellent. I would go to her again. The other three women with me did not receive what they ordered and it was later discovered that the intake paperwork and requested service did not correctly match the client! The therapists were given the wrong client paperwork. So one received treatments she didn't ask for and the others didn't get what they ordered. I think there must have been scheduling and language issues and maybe this is atypical but three of us were disappointed. Two of us had to share a treatment room which was also unexpected. We do have entertaining stories from the very odd and often uncomfortable experience each had. More than one of us had no idea what type of massage the "therapist" was even doing. But it was the exact opposite of a relaxing and soothing Swedish massage. The location is great; the garden whimsical, colorful and charming; staff was pleasant. We just need to be able to count on the service ordered and a competent therapist to execute it.

She teaches and provides massage in a healing way. She can provide a frou-frou-frou massage, but people see both Devon and Alix for pain and other serious issues. Devin is very good at diagnosing issues. She will tell you to see a Dr., if need be, but her disgnosis is then correct. If you want a massage therapist or team that is Mensa smart and help you with physical issues, then you have found the right team.

I researched a ton online and decided to make an appointment with Devin. Immediately, I sensed that she knew what she was doing. As we rolled into the session, I was very impressed with her knowledge of the human body and how everything is linked. Her background in Kinesiology is a definite plus. I have been suffering from chronic pain in my upper body, for some time and she has been incredible in helping me to control my symptoms. I know that I am in great hands (no pun intended) with her. Monique has been a miracle for our family! In no way does she even begin to compare to any other…read moremassage I or my husband have had, she's too far above them! My husband suffers from dysautonomia (malfunctioning nervous system), stomach issues, PTSD, to name a few of his health issues. After his massage with Monique, he said he never felt better. My daughter (10 years old) suffers from a form of dysautonomia also, has severe TMJ, digestive issues, and over all super sore muscles. When I took her in to Monique, she was also suffering from one of her knees popping multiple times a day, causing tremendous pain. Her jaws were so bad that she could hardly open her mouth to eat, as it was too painful. After two sessions with Monique, her knee rarely pops. I'm talking about it going from multiple pops daily to once in the last three weeks! BIG difference. Her leg doesn't hurt because of it. Monique worked on her jaws and they've completely stopped being painful! She can easily open her mouth wide without any pain. :) Me? I have PTSD and fibromyalgia. Because of the fibromyalgia, I'm in constant pain. The pain has taken over my life in the last few years to the point that I no longer would work outside. Every. single. move was premeditated to move so that it would be less painful. I was moving things from my lower cabinets up higher so that I didn't have to bend over to avoid pain. After one session with Monique, my life has completely changed! The evening of the day that I had my massage, I was working in the kitchen and bending down to get things from the refrigerator and putting things on my counter, when it hit me full force that I was doing it with minimal pain. I couldn't believe it! I was so excited, I called Monique to tell her the difference. Since our time together, I've been able to 'take back' some of my life by working outside like I used to do. I simply cannot believe the difference! All of us are going to go back and get more work done. I highly (I really cannot emphasize how highly) our family recommends her work. She really knows her stuff and will tell you why she's working with your body the way she is and what will happen when she does certain moves.
