Stopped in one night and was very pleasantly surprised with this place. It is definitely a pub, loved the vibe of the decor. We were welcomed immediately when we arrived and seated. It was Mexican night. I ordered the steak fajitas. Wow, they were so good and I felt a great price. I ordered the beans and rice on the side, but could have done without either of those. The beans were very dry and I just wasn't a fan of the rice, personal preference. My husband got a burger and said it had great flavor. Perfect medium cook and seasoned well. Went here for a group meet up with friends who I haven't seen in a long time. We went for dinner on a Wednesday in the cold so it wasn't super busy which was nice. The bar and eating areas were clean but had a "homey" bar feel that made you feel relaxed without it feeling like a dive. Table got the mox sticks (these things are huge, mox logs, not sticks!) and fried green beans which were delicious. Around the table was a breakfast burger, a Reuben, the classic burger, etc. Fries were much loved and the onion rings (which literally looked like they cut the onion in half and then fried one of those size rings) were a fan favorite. I got the veggie pizza with a couple swaps (no banana peppers, added roasted red peppers and spinach) and it was delicious. Crust was crispy but not thin and the sauce was really flavorful. Appropriate amount of cheese, not so much that all your toppings fall off, but enough that you get a pull when you grab a slice. Our server was very nice and attentive. We split checks around the table and no issues. Would definitely stop in again and would recommend for anyone searching for a regular bar/food joint. read more

Our server was very friendly and attentive. Her food and drink recommendations were spot on. I got the Blueberry Lemonade and Rueben. I would highly recommend getting both of these menu items. They have a jukebox where you can select music to play (at a cost). They also have many TV's playing many sports games and keno on a couple TV's. This place has both indoor and outdoor seating. The inside is not super big but they can accommodate a decent amount of people. When it's warm out they have a great patio to sit at. A group of us shared the cheese and pepperoni pizza. I am huge pizza fan so I love trying pizza from different places. The pizza was good. Not the best I ever had but still high quality and tasty. This place was really cool inside and the patio was so nicely well spaced, I haven't been wanting to come here for awhile and all we got was a pizza and some drinks and I definitely want to try other foods here eventually as well but I will start with walking in. So you walk in and you can tell this used to be a fire station with all the decor around and it was really cool to see the inside so we decided to be seated at the patio because it was nice outside. The ambience of this place is very nice, it wasn't too loud and it was just enough to where we could still hear each other when we talked but they did play music which was cool. The service here was very exceptional, we didn't wait long for our food or drinks and everyone was very nice. What a terrifying experience. Our 5 year old was served vodka in her sprite. When management was notified, we barely received an apology. We were told "the waitress was ripped a new a$$h0le." We enjoy Firehouse pub in Wyandotte. Some of the best pizza around. We like the Philly Steak pizza split in half for pepperoni & cheese to split with our grandson. We usually go on Monday evening for 1/2 pizza special. We went Friday night to enjoy the festival. They had a special of Brisket and Mc Cheese. Was very good. Went in to order carry out and was never offered a menu, was pushed a beer in front of me and then watched as bartender carried on a conversation with a customer while they did shots. The bar was far from busy and the kitchen was open. I paid for my one beer and walked to the next bar down the street and got immediate attention. About 45 minutes after putting our order in, the waitress comes out to let one guest know they didn't have an ingredient for her meal. Rundown of brunch food: -Eggs weren't cooked to order (replacement eggs also not cooked to order) -Bacon was limp and barely cooked (sent it back to be cooked more and got bacon that was the exact same as before) -Under-cooked breakfast potatoes--still hard inside -Sandwiches stated they had certain toppings and came without (when we inquired, she brought them out...so why not put them on initially??) -$3 extra for a cheese-stuffed burger that had no cheese inside (she did throw an extra Kraft single on top for that $3 upcharge) -Toast came about 10 minutes after the breakfast meal was served. The only plus was that the waitress kept the endless Mimosas and Bloodys coming very quickly! She was wonderful and seemingly as irritated as we were with the food situation. I was surprised this place had such bad reviews, but I see most of them are older. I've been here about 5 times for a quick lunch with various coworkers and I've never had a bad experience. The place is typically dead, I've always been greeted immediately, and we've been in and out every time. The menu is nothing crazy special - your typical American pub food - but you can't beat their lunch specials...$6 with a drink included. I'm boring, so I typically get just a regular hamburger, which is always done how I ask for it and would be hard to mess up. However, most of my coworkers are more adventurous and have never had issues with their meals and have all said it was great. I've never experienced anything having to be sent back or an extended wait time for the food. I tried the parmesan fries for the first time yesterday and they were amazing. The place is clean. The waitresses are always attentive (we're typically the only people there). It's the perfect not fast food, quick lunch spot. read more

This was my first and only time ordering from this restaurant. My colleagues and I used their website to order food for lunch. There is a HUGE discrepancy from their prices listed on the website compared to what you are actually charged. For example, the website has a full Caesar salad for 6.99, with an additional 3.99 for chicken. When I got there to pay, I was charged 8.99 for the salad and 5.99 for the chicken. That is just one example. We were overcharged for every order. Also, be cautious when ordering take-out. They charge for each individual to-go box. They also have a $2 credit card surcharge (which was NEVER mentioned when I called in the order). With the food overcharges (I say overcharges because paying $9 for styrofoam box of romaine lettuce, sprinkled parm cheese and croutons is insane) and credit card surcharge, I ended up paying $22.14 over the prices I was expecting to pay. After I broke down the difference in the price, I called the restaurant to inquire about why there was such a discrepancy. The woman who spoke with me was extremely rude. She advised me that "everyone" knows about the price changes and "no one" uses their website to order carry out anymore. She offered no assistance whatsoever to resolve this issue. I asked to speak to a manager and she advised me that she was the only one there. Like I said before, this is the first and last time. I don't like to write a review like this because no one on either side wins....but I'm hoping this helps someone. So I find the Firehouse by recommendation. It's next door to the Wyandotte Central Fire Station. A decent selection of local craft brews and a full bar, the menu has a great selection as well. The box alarm burger is good but lacks a decent flavor or spicing other than the BBQ sauce. DO NOT GET THE MOZZARELLA STICKS!! They're the size of LOGS and the looks you'll get aren't work it. Lol.
