I like the new French Dip sandwich a good bit. I like it more than any other sandwich I have had here. The Au Jus that comes with it is beefy, hot, and superduper tasty. It's got onions and cheese on it too, and is all toasty man. Yum. Yum. Eat em up! If you throw some of those hot sauces they have lying around into the mix, it gets pretty dang crazy up in the Firehouse, mane. I also like the chili. It's got a nice texture, great flavor, and lots of beans. You know what they say about beans.... Tehehe, toot.... They even give you those cute little oyster crackers too. Classy! This ain't even Applebee's! Dude everyone bitches about behind the counter is cool as long as you are. That's my take at least. He's always been really nice to me and even brings my food out to me. I am pretty, though.... I do have that going for me. I guess if I must endure the burden of being gorgeous, I should get beefy subs quickly, right?!?!? Used to go to this location once or twice a week. First problem was a bug was in the box with one sandwich. Second problem was app changes to sandwiches don't go through correctly to the kitchen. Third problem is the owner refused to give a refund when charged twice for the same order. read more

Sunday lunch for the five of us. Not the usual experience for this firehouse. It was busy, but it's Sunday just before 1:00, it's expected. When we left the restaurant was practically empty. First, when checking out you have the suggestion to tip, even though you get your own drink, go get your food, and clean up after yourself. I tipped some, but would have liked it back. Bun wasn't heated through, turkey was sliced thicker so it fell off the bun, wife's sandwich was dripping ranch. As delicious as the Turkey Bacon Ranch sandwich was, this location of Firehouse Subs has FOREVER lost a customer--unfortunately for them, a customer with a large family--all because of the disrespectful attitude of one teenage boy employee who was more interested in clocking out precisely at 9pm than in correctly letting a customer know the restaurant was closing. For him to speak to us in the tone he did was disrespectful, unnecessary, and ultimately adversely accomplished his goal. He was also the one who took my order and did not greet us or ask what we wanted. He just stood there, and I had to assume he was ready to take it. We walked in at 8:30pm and received our one large sandwich about 8:45pm. 11 minutes later, this kid was announcing to me that they close in 4 minutes. He is not an asset to your business. Also, Firehouse now has the new, digital, Coke machines. If the sandwiches aren't enough to get you in the door, you've got to try out these soda dispensers. Coke Zero alone has about eight choices: Cherry, Cherry Vanilla, Raspberry, Lemon... In all, the machines deliver 120 different flavor combinations. With drink, my lunch was under 8 bucks. read more

So I finally tried Firehouse Subs and I was not impressed. I did not find the staff to be all that friendly especially after stating that I had never been to Firehouse Subs. Plus, I found the service to be slow. However, they do bring your order to your table as I dined in. I opted to try their turkey bacon ranch speciality sub combo ( added a drink and chips). The turkey bacon ranch speciality sub is a sub with smoked turkey breast, pepper bacon, sharp cheddar cheese topped with peppercorn ranch, mayo, lettuce, tomato, and onion. As for the sub, it was just okay, nothing particularly special about it really. I personally could of made a better one at home and for the price of almost $12, I also found it to be on the smaller side and definitely not worth the price. read more

This review is about service. When service is poor, I don't want to return. My husband and I passed by the store after spending the evening (Monday April 11, 2022) at our grandkids baseball games and thought we'd stop in for 2 sandwiches to go. We walked in the store at 8:53 pm. I realize this was down to the wire (store closes at 9:00 pm) but the store was still open and they were serving another customer. No greeting upon entry but we heard a voice call out from behind the counter, "Just so you know, we close at 9." I said aloud, "I'm glad we made it then. It's 8:53." The shift manager, whose name I was told is Jennifer, waited on us. Let's just say her demeanor was RUDE and ARGUMENTATIVE. She even asked me if I wanted to "rethink my order" because she would "never eat cold pepperoni." Then I noticed an error on the size sandwich she was ringing up. I didn't say what size and she didn't ask. I caught this when I saw the charges on the order screen and realized it was wrong. No problem, I just noted that I wanted 2 LARGE sandwiches. She snipped, "You said MEDIUM." I told her I didn't say the size when I ordered. She mumbled under her breath "Oh, yes you DID." I'll leave it at that. We left the store at 9:00 p.m. with our sandwiches. To the owner of this store, why would you want this person working for you? She leaves a bad impression on your business. If you haven't been to Firehouse, don't walk, run. As soon as you walk into Firehouse Subs you're greeting with some kind hellos and a delicious smell! You easily order at the counter and can customize whatever sandwich, salad, or sides you want. My personal favorite is a turkey & cheese with "less bread" (thinned out bread), but I've never regretted ordering anything from here! They also have a Coca-Cola Freestyle machine which includes an array of soft drinks, sports drinks, and juices. No other sandwich shop beats the fresh taste (and smell) of Firehouse Subs!!!! read more

I've eaten at the Firehouse Sub on Stage Rd (Highway 64) in Bartlett, TN on several occasions, and not one time have I "ever can say I had a complaint"!! I'm a member of their Firehouse Sub Club, which basically means on your birthday you come in and receive a sub on them! The staff at this location, the only one I've ever been too, ALWAYS GREETS YOU, which means a lot, they get your meal correct the FIRST TIME, not after you're home and realize it's all covered in mustard, and you only wanted mayonnaise! lol Service the 'ole fashioned way...correctly done the first time, with a swift sense of urgency, and a friendly smile! Firehouse subs are pretty good! I wish I could give it 3 1/2 stars but I can't. It's fast food. The subs are pretty delicious I guess. I only ever get the hot subs. They have a good selection of chips, they have the newer style updated drink machine, the staff was very polite and friendly, and I LOVE their selection of hot sauces! Checkin on Yelp for a free medium drink. (That's the promotion right now anyway.) I feel like it's a little over priced for what it is so i'm sure that was -1 Star in my mind and I don't feel like any fast food restaurants should be rated higher than the nicer restaurants in the area that are better so that was -1 Star. I love that they donate $ to the firefighters for equipment so I'll keep supporting them. May even bump them up a star after my next visit. Who knows. read more

This story I could not make up. After the best sandwich of my life, my wife and we're headed to the airport to board a flight to Vegas and then on to Hawaii. When I arrived to the airport I realized I had left my keys at this Firehouse. Frantically of course I google their number and within in seconds I was on the phone with a man by the name as Cameron (I'm 99% sure). I explained the situation and Cameron was already looking by the soda fountains and then on to straws. He asked me where I sat and if I used the restroom. Then he goes "where did you park?" I told the man towards the back of parking lot near the blue fence. And Cameron goes "hold on please." 12 secs later Cameron goes "I got them." My father in law, bless his soul, grabbed them and rushed them to the airport. And honestly didn't get them in time. But he can ship them don't worry. So thank you CAMERON for going way beyond any service I've ever received, even from my own family. This location is fantastic. The staff are wonderful and very friendly. They remember any special requests from previous visits, and I've never had my order be wrong. The food is good, too. The Philly cheesesteak is great! So great. I've also had the meatball sub before, even though I knew I was going to have a heart attack because of it, it was really good. Ridiculously filling. I've got the smokehouse beef and cheddar brisket in my sights. And the Freestyle Coke machine! I can't drink carbonated beverages so a lot of the drinks are out for me, but I still found one. I don't quite get all the good reviews of this place. It's pretty pricey for what you get and while the quality's certainly a step above Subway, it reminds me of a Quizno's without the whimsy and toastedness. They have a nice variety of sandwiches, but they're all united by one common thread: a lack of size for the money you pay. Forking over $5.60+ for a sandwich should result in a sandwich that fills you up, but the serving portions are pretty small here. I didn't really have quick service here, but I did like that they bring your order out to you. The best part about Firehouse is the Coke Freestyle machine, but those are starting to get ubiquitous in mid-tier eateries around here so they're not that unique. Will I be back? We placed a lunch order for our office. I went to pick it up and it wasn't any place to be found. I was standing at the register and saw the order on the computer. Unfortunately, whomever took my order forgot to press enter to send it over to be made. I had to wait 30 minutes to get my food which in the end was well worth it.
