yesterday we came to lawton from mangum to give your restaurant a second chance well it was terrible I ordered a small smoked turkey breast with crisp bacon and swiss cheese and mayo ,my husband ordered a large steak & cheese sub his bread was soggy and the meat had alot of cold spots,my sandwich the turkey was soggy and slimey and the mayo was hot the bacon was not crispy i had to throw my sandwich in the trash , the check # was 189 we went thru drive thru we spent $22.99 for terrible food ,my phone number is 727 459 1144, we live in Mangum OK, we used to eat alot in Firehouse in Florida where we moved from and we loved them the food was perfect. Got my sandwich back home and notice there was a sauce I didn't get. like where they sliced the bread so they cut my sandwich with a dirty knife because it was marinara sauce. First off if you like huge subs order the large. Otherwise you are going to be eating on it two or three days. This is is my first time eating here. Did I say they were huge? The first thing I did was open it up. It is slathered in mayo so if you don't like a lot, make sure to ask for lite. Then I took my first bite--after putting it back together three times. The bread is very VERY soft. And tHat nite was like whoa! Why is this so sweet. I'm guessing all of the meats are honey ham etc. I had the Italian by the way. I are it's, swallowed. Looked it over and over and took another bite. Yes. It was sweet. And something else. It had a lot of shaved meat. The meat wasn't thick. But there was certainly enough for me. What I was disappointed in was the lack of vegetables. Had to open it to find them. Would have liked much more lettuce. Of course, you can order extra. And change it up anyway you want. They even have a build your own sub. Maybe the deli mustard and mayo added to the sweetness. I'm guessing the old tv shows that show firemen pigging out big time is where the idea for these subs came from. I know a lot of people who love super soft bread. And they have it. They have a wide selections of vegetables etc you can put on your sun. Sides are pretty standard. Side salad. Chips. Cookies. Potato soup. Lot of different drinks. We had to pull around while they made our subs. Not sure why. But they were fast. If you are ordering this for delivery I would ask for any liados like mayo Italian dressing on the side. Somehow I didn't realize Lawton even HAD a Firehouse Subs until today when i was driving home from the gym, starving. So I was pleasantly surprised when the sign came into view right before the intersection of 38th and Cache... I hit the blinker and made a quick right turn into the parking lot. I've actually never even seen a stand alone FS before. They've always been a part of an outdoor shopping center, but not for Lawton.. stand alone with a drive thru and all! Inside was extremely clean and well maintained (I mean, it's pretty much brand new so I wouldn't expect any less), staff was extremely friendly, and service was pretty quick! And they have those fancy coke drink machines with millions of choices, to include a full line of Powerade Zero flavors! FS has always been my favorite fast food sub shop, and that New York Steamer hit the spot! read more

This is a new addition to Lawton! It is another sandwich place but they do have hot subs which is different. Our sandwiches were fresh and the staff was friendly. Only thing I wasn't a fan of was the mustard, so I'll order without! I didn't know they had mac n cheese but saw that after I order so maybe next time... read more

Don't go here. Firehouse subs stole wife's credit card. She missed it soon after leaving so she called store talked to manager. They said no card had been turned in. She then went to the store face to face with same manager. Manager asked window operator for card. Window operator immediately pulled card out from under cash register. Wife had already canceled card. We were without a credit card for 3 weeks while they investigated. Management offered nothing for our troubles. read more
