    Nashville hot fried chicken sandwich
    Edna L.

The fireside restaurant near the entrance on level 2 of great wolf lodge looked promising but wasn't as nice as it looked- we came for dinner. We ordered fire-braised chicken nacho stack(2 stars but large portion) , the braised short rib bolognese(4 stars but small portion) and the Nashville hot fried chicken (3 stars). The fries here are better than Buckets by the indoor park. Bbq sauce was good. Best part was the staff who were super friendly and welcoming. Beyond that, probably best to look elsewhere for food unless you're super hungry and don't want to travel far.

I was overwhelmed after a day with the grandkids at an indoor waterpark the likes of which I've never seen. They absolutely loved it and I did participate on probably the busiest weekend of the year, Columbus Day weekend. It's amazing that the staff are able to do all they do to take care of everyone. There are several restaurants on premises and we chose this one to celebrate a three year-old birthday. We were seated in the back, which was wonderful for the two toddlers. The staff put several tables together and the atmosphere was very nice. The restaurant is beautifully appointed, and our waiter took care of us very well. I don't know why we expected more of a waterpark restaurant, but the food was mediocre. I ordered the Cobb salad and it was basically a big dish of iceberg lettuce with a few things sprinkled on it., topped with a handful of fake bacon My daughter ordered nachos and it was a big pile of chips with some melted cheese and very few toppings. The hamburger my husband ordered was a little more than the size of a white castle burger And one of our party ordered a steak which was minuscule. Oh, and the bar was out of tonic.

Kids meal served with fries and fruit. The accuracy of "fruit"-singular. My son didn't eat the Mac and cheese either. "Yucky"

The only reason to go here is because you're tired. It was a rainy day and I was exhausted so we decided to just suck it up and eat a quick meal at the lodge. I expected the prices to be high and was prepared for that. I did not expect to be sat at a table where the seats are duck taped. I did request to be moved (mostly so my son didn't have them ripped open by the end of the meal.) Spinach dip was good (but standard) my husband had steak and shrimp (ok) side of mash (thumbs down- dry and flavorless) Just suck it up and drive 2 miles out of the resort for good food.

We won't eat here again. They get three stars for prompt service. But, it took our waitress 10 minutes to come over. There was no silverware and no ketchup at our table. The restaurant was very dark but kid friendly. The kids Mac and cheese was gross. The fries were ok. The "fruit" was an orange wedge, a carrot stick and a celery still. It looked like they grabbed some "stuff" from the bar for drinks and wings. Our dynamite shrimp physically hurt to eat. It was very hard. My chicken bowl was white rice when advertised as brown. It was very bland. The pulled chicken was watery. My husbands burger was ok. The cocktails were good. Dinner was over $110 and I would have been happier with a slice of pizza. avoid this restaurant when staying at The Great Wolf Lodge.

Staff is friendly, but my steak frites was not good. Very hard to eat. No flavor at all. Had to use A1 sauce so that's not great. Not worth the price either, should have ordered something else. This was pretty bad. I always order steak medium rare and most of the time I don't need to rely on A1 sauce for flavor. Seriously bad. I love steak so much so this was very sad for me.

This is the nicest restaurant inside Great Wolf Lodge, and has a gorgeous bar. If you're celebrating an occasion or would like to have a special dinner without leaving the premises, or just want a nightcap (it's open all day for breakfast/lunch/dinner, and dinner is served until 9pm but the bar is open til 11), this is the one to go for. The food is fine, nothing to write home about but decent enough. If I were on the "outside" I'd expect better quality for the fare, but it's resort pricing, so you kinda have to expect a bit of upcharge, but it's not unreasonable. My steak was cooked a perfect medium rare but it's not the most tender and rather tasteless so I had to load it with salt and the aioli it came with. Fries were great though. Cornbread was a little dry. Turkey sandwich was tasty if somewhat salty. The grilled shrimp in the pasta alfredo was perfect. Service is excellent however and our waiter Nick was lovely. Food came out quickly and all the staff are very courteous and helpful. 3-3.5 but bumping to 4 for the overall pleasant experience and the nice atmosphere, and for the convenience of not having to leave GWL (and lose our good parking spot lol).

Love this place, the bartenders are super friendly, the drinks are good (even tho I only had wine) & the food is delish!

    Asian dish cilantro chicken?

Service is meh. Food is meh. Price is up. Love great wolf lodge and highly recommend if you have little ones, but their dining options are not great. I got some Asian bowl and I tried their bbq slaw burger-not great, not even a photo because meh. I didn't finish most of food.

As expected, it is very overpriced but the food is delicious. This is the perfect spot to grab a bite and a drink while the kids are attending the dance parties and activities. The chicken on the chicken nachos was very soft and flavorful. I also very much enjoyed the flavor of the BBQ wings and the burger which were both cooked to perfection. They currently have themed drinks for Halloween which were also delicious. The facility is convenient, clean, and well themed. And staff is friendly and helpful. I would recommend and return.

Ambiance is nice, not really made for young kids. Food is nothing spectacular. You're not left with many options at GWL though.

Food is surprisingly good for a resort. Service is great and theme match well to Great Wolf Lodge.

Overpriced and overcooked. 3 salads and a kids meal was $100. Menu is extremely limited, too.

Waitress was nice but awful. Food was not good at all. I wish I went to the restaurant right beside it in the great wolf lodge.

PLAN AHEAD: Make reservations, especially for large parties or people who have to eat on a schedule. You can always cancel the reservations if you decide to go offsite. There was a night where it was going to snow and the hostesses were quoting two hour wait times at 5:45pm. Service is slow and it felt like the kitchen was always over capacity when we were there. SERVICE: Kudos to the hostesses who have to deliver bad news constantly in a cold drafty hallway. Servers were kind and had good knowledge of the menu, but were largely at the mercy of the kitchen. We had a show to make one night and barely got the food in time, even though we were explicit in our time restriction. FOOD: They can sell out of items and there are no real vegetables on the menu. If you like fried bar foods, you're in good company. Nothing was amazing. Lots of beer on tap though. VIBE: the best thing about Trails End is that if you get a window seat (huge wonderful windows!), you see the last hundred feet of the blue and black trail. We got to watch people do little jumps, wipe out, and careen down the hill, which was more fun than watching the football games on the wall. Location is very casual. Prices are comparable with New York City, which is an unpleasant surprise for many.
