Brought my vehicle in for misfire in cylinder 1, to have power steering fluid added, tire rotation, and oil change. I've had to replace ignition coils before, so bought one at local auto parts store to bring in. Dale told me that it is company policy NOT to use customer-provided parts and that he could not use what I provided. I left the new ignition coil in the passenger seat and left my car at Firestone. Rented a car while mine sat to be repaired, which is normal and what I expected. After turning in the rental I arrived at Firestone to pay my bill and retrieve my car. I got in the car, prepared to return my new ignition coil, but it was missing. Quick call to the store revealed the tech removed one of my coils and used a new coil found in the passenger seat, against company policy. The coil was not included in the invoice; they were cryptic about using the part, so I don't know if this is really what happened. Additionally, no steering fluid was added and now cylinder 4 is misfiring. So the main issues with the car still exist, but I don't have the time or money to let them chill with my vehicle for another few days. My trust is gone and Dale did a great job of being unaccountable when I spoke to him. So I'm down a new part and still stuck with the issue. Also out a fresh ~$1300 for that service. Terrific experience! I had a flat tire nearby, and they were so helpful. I brought the busted tire in, they put the new tire on it, so I could replace it and drive back over. 4 new tires, alignment, etc, for less than $400. My experience here was fraudulent and unprofessional. If you want an honest mechanic don't go here. I brought my car in and explained I had a pretty bad oil leak. I said I believed it was the oil pressure switch, as that is the highest point the oil was visible. I left the car with them to run a diagnostic to confirm. I received a call back that it was not the oil pressure switch but the VVT housing. They said it would be 10 days before they could complete the repair because they had to wait two days for the part and then the "master" mechanic, Scott, would be on vacation for a week. After 11 days I received a call that my repairs were complete and I went in to pay and receive my vehicle. After driving about 5 minutes home I looked at the supposed repair and saw that they did put an oil pressure switch on even though they had said that wasn't what the repair was for. So I looked at the invoice online, which they didn't show me before they had me pay at the store. It showed that I was charged for an oil pressure switch and for an $200 engine solenoid. I looked and that was not replaced. I went into the store to ask why a solenoid was listed on the invoice when that was not replaced, I was told it wasn't the solenoid but it was the housing. I told them that the housing for the solenoid is called the VVT housing and that wasn't replaced and it wasn't new even though before the repair I was told that was the part that I needed and not new oil pressure switch. The manager on duty said " how can you tell it's not new" with a demeaning and unprofessional tone. The part had old oil and dirt all over. I have pictures of the part before I took the car in and after and it has the same dirt, same scratches, and same tool marks as the original part and obviously wasn't replaced. The manager went to talk to the mechanic and they doubled down that it was replaced and refused to look at the part or my pictures. The manager Jorge, and the mechanic was Scott. Jorge said to come back the next day to speak with the store manager. The next day I came in to talks with the store manager. He looked at the part and said that it was replaced and new. If your a mechanic for a day you could tell easily the VVT housing had not been replaced and was not new. After telling and showing the store manager that I could see it wasn't new, and I had photos proving it had not replaced. Dale, the store manager, reluctantly refunded the cost for the part but refused to refund labor even though the work wasn't completed. They lied and doubled down until I told the store manager I had pictures proving the part wasn't new. read more

Absolutely horrible service. They told me to make an appointment to drop off at 10am and they were supposed to call me sometime throughout the day to give me a quote on a brake and rotor job while completing the alignment job I originally came for. I had called multiple times to get any update I could, which they failed to provide each time. I showed up 30 min before they closed to pick up my truck and they hadn't even touched the vehicle once. Fast forward to the next morning, they put the new wheels on that I requested but failed to put the correct center caps on... they just reinstalled the stock caps. All of these instructions were in their notes that they took when I dropped the vehicle off. When I confronted them about the issues, the service manager looked at me and then walked to the back of shop like he was avoiding any and all conversation. On the drive home I noticed the truck pulls quite a bit to the right, making me believe they didn't even touch the alignment. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS SHOP TO ANYONE. read more

Location doesn't offer the prompt and reliable service it once did. Took our teen's car in for a basic oil change and scheduled the appt to drop it off 2 weeks in advance. Dropped it off by 10 am on a Monday. No updates until I called to check in the afternoon. Said they only had 1 mechanic but they would try to get it done. Ended up not getting it done that day and said they would get the oil changed first thing on Tuesday. Lunch time came around on Tuesday with no update. I called only to find out it wasn't done yet. I decided to pick up the car at 2pm and take it somewhere else for service. I understand the staff shortages, but they shouldn't book so many appts if they can't handle the business. read more

I stopped in this Firestone location due to some brake squeaking I was experiencing with my SUV. Ritchie and Eddie took a look and explained the issue and showed me on my vehicle the issue with my brakes and some rust and dirt. Ended up not needing any major work done except for a wheel cleaning at my local car wash. I really appreciated the fact they did not try to sell my anything I didn't need. The absolute worst experience. DO NOT GO HERE!! The "self described" manager Mr. Jabonski is either a liar, a crook or just has no idea what he is doing. Upon entering the store with flat Firestone tire for repair he immediately told us that he could not repair it because of the "bulge" in the sidewall. I proceeded to explain that the bulge was just from it sitting flat in the cold overnight and it was not damage. He didn't care and said it had to be replaced. I am sure this Firestone makes a lot of sales off of unsuspecting people that don't know better, lying to them and stealing their money, but not me. Went across the street to Pep Boy's and they repaired the tire with no problems in minutes with great a great attitude, unlike Mr. Jablonski at Firestone. I recently scheduled an alignment with Firestone through their online scheduling feature, I would be heading over there after having a new set of tires installed. I received a "Confirmation" that the request went through and they would see me at the appointed time. I wanted to get this done before embarking on a 5-6 hour drive on my new tires. I received a call from the store in the morning, the gentleman said they could only perform the alignment if I left the vehicle with them for the day. I Scheduled an appointment so I wouldn't have to leave my vehicle. Now I need to find someone else at the last minute. 6 weeks ago I went in to have a tire plugged, had a nail, there was one car in a bay, two hours before close, guy at the counter said they couldn't do it, but would schedule me for an appointment in two days. It use to take 15 minutes to plug a tire, I guess things are different now. I won't even try go go back here again! Customer service is not a priority. read more

Never got a call it was done, showed up at 5pm, again ubered, expecting by this time it to be done. Was sitting in the same place I parked it at 8am and it NEVER was serviced for the alignment. I'm a repeat customer with two older vehicles. However, I have been to this location for the last time. I brought my '05 Explorer in for rear brakes/rotors and a belt replacement. I had a scheduled appointment at 10:00 a.m. and the vehicle was promised by 6:00 p.m. At 4:59 p.m., a technician called to tell me the ABS exciter ring on my CV axle was broken. He said that it was a $150 part and that since it was not broken when I brought it in, they would repair it with no charge for the labor. I tried to negotiate for discounting the part as well, but was told that I would have to speak with the manager in the morning. He said I could call the manager at 7:00 a.m. and I said to have the manager just call me when he gets in. No one ever called. The next day, I arrived at 8:30. The repair had not even begun! The manager took me into the garage and showed me the broken part. He pointed out the dirt in the crack and said that it couldn't be a new break. So he was going to charge me $145 for labor and $152 for the part, but he would be happy to apply a 10% discount since they are running a special. I told him that I'd been promised no charge for the labor. After some haggling, he agreed to cut the labor in half. After more haggling, he agreed to only charge $50 for the labor. Now, I'm waiting for a tech to start working on the repair that should take an hour and a half. The vehicle should have been ready yesterday at 6:00 p.m. With the additional repair starting at 7:00 a.m., it should have been ready by 9:00. It's 8:45 and the repair has finally begun. read more

I love this place! I pride myself on taking decent care of my fairly-old car. I check to make sure there's enough oil in it, I wax it, I keep it clean and well-maintained. Well, I DID, until one day I apparently left the oil cap off after refilling it. I sincerely hope that you, dear reader, never experience the horror of seeing your impeccably clean and waxed Civic, covered in oil that [inevitably] got ALL splashed around the engine and the front end, after a 100 mile trip to see the family for Christmas. Naturally, I noticed this catastrophe immediately after trying to go to Jiffy Lube (not my first choice) for an oil change, solely because they were open the Sunday after Christmas. Turns out there were not open. "What do I do?! Where do I go?! HOW do I clean an engine that has been coated in oil??" And there it was, right in front of me: The Firestone center that apparently does much more than tires. Not only did they somehow not make fun of my rrrreally embarrassing oil-drenched car, they actually fished my oil cap out from somewhere in the engine (woohoo!), changed the oil, washed the car, and powerwashed/cleaned the engine. Seriously. I could have hugged these people. The final bonus is that they didn't charge me for anything more than an oil change (and trust me, it was much more). And they were nice. And they were fast. And it was Sunday. This place rocks. I recommend them highly. read more

Not sure where I land here. I don't think anyone was being intentionally dishonest, but it goes to show you how that perception can take you from a 5 star review to a 2 star review. To be fair, we were both solidly in the 5 star camp when we walked in the door that day. My husband had a flat tire on C-470 and called GEICO for roadside assistance. They have a partnership with Firestone if we want tow there. Great, we think, there's a Firestone at this exit, let's do this, they even mention a discount, even better. So they perform an inspection, replace the busted tire, find a nail in the rear tire and offer this lifetime alignment service. His car is not an easy one to work on, so we're happy for the thorough inspection. We're all ready to go and he's like we just need to set up your shop account for the discount. I ask, "Is this a credit card?" He answers, no, it isn't just a shop account. I assume, perhaps incorrectly since my husband is buying all these various lifetime fixes, this is why they need to set up this account? Then to keep going forward he needs his social security card, our household income and our mortgage. Ok, really not seeing how this is not a credit card we are applying for...but my husband obliges. Oh good news, your account is set up, you just need to pay for everything with this account today. Uh...no, we want to pay for this with our own money today. Oh, well, you can't get the discount without it. Well, we ask, can we pay off the account today? Sure, if we go to an ATM and withdraw the cash...sigh, this is getting annoying. "It's easy! That's what I do" says the Firestone rep. Well yes, you come to Firestone five days a week probably, I imagine it would be easy. So we think about it. And I start looking around, and hanging from the ceiling is a big picture of a Firestone CREDIT CARD. I look at the terminal where my husband entered his details for the account, and it says, "enter your information for your CREDIT CARD account here". So I'm sure our guy at the front has just been counseled not to call it a credit card, but the whole flow of the conversation was pretty off-putting. We went from wanting Firestone to provide all these lifetime services, to just wanting to cut our losses and get out. Again, a good example of how a good experience can deteriorate quickly with some bad info. So hopefully the management who is pushing these representatives to be unclear with their message understands what kind of effect this has on building loyalty and trust with the customer. Not sure if we'll be going back. We paid an extra $50 for the services today, because we didn't want a CREDIT CARD, CHARGE ACCOUNT or whatever other spin you want to put on it. read more

I'm incredibly disappointed with the response I got today regarding a botched alignment of my truck at the Highlands Ranch store. After aligning my truck on Saturday, Saturday night my steering wheel was suddenly off 90 degrees and not driving right. I talked to someone Sunday who said they couldn't handle it Sunday and arranged for me to come Monday at 4:00. When I arrived I got to have a contentious conversation with someone who believed I was their "bud". He said there was no one available to look at the truck and I needed to drop it off the next morning till he could have someone look at it. I was unable to do so as I need my vehicle to get to work. Having received such an unapologetic attitude I left and will find someone else to work on my families vehicles. Really disappointing overall and now I'm left with a vehicle which is unsafe to drive. read more

Wasn't happy with customer service. Had a warranty issue with a tire, after calling it in an hour before with warranty info as well as tire sizes it took over an hour to replace it. When I got there no one had any idea about the issue and had a laughable response to my concerns. 100% awesome! I wrote a poor review of another Firestone down the street. They were rude and horrible but this Firestone... it's like it is in a different world! I came to this Firestone because I had horrible service at the other location and they couldn't finish the job. This location was the complete opposite. He got everything done, plus could have completed the other service I needed if I had the time. The owner was kind and did not try to pull a fast one. He even gave me a lift to work and back to the shop when I couldn't get a lift from my co-workers! They are accommodating, nice, and do good work for a great price. Last 2 times I've taken the car here the wait has been insane. Had an appointment to switch my tires over from the winter to all season still a 2 hour wait. Last time had an appointment and 3 hours after I dropped it off I called and they hadn't even check it. This is the location I always go to for oil changes and anything else needed for me car, I love this location, they are always very nice and never try to sell me anything that is not needed. Recently my niece needed her brakes and rotors checked, so I recommended this Firestone location. The Service Manager Jeff Aleman and auto tech Ben Warren assisted her with new rotors and brakes and she paid $100's less than she was quoted by the local Toyota Dealership!! Last week during the storm one of my windshield wipers stopped going up and down. Firestone was the closest place to me so I stopped in and asked for help. I waited for a while and someone finally said they would look at it. He walked out looked and wiggled it and said there was nothing he could do but if I wanted to leave it over night they would fix it but it would be a expensive fix! I asked can't you just tighten it and he said no it's broke it's definitely the transmission? Whattttttt? So I called my cousin and explained the situation and he said just tighten the bolt. So I tightened the bolt and wala it works. The guy at firestone did not care I couldn't see , didn't care to take the time to help. Absolutely the worst customer service!!! read more

Stood at the front counter for 10 minutes and no one came in. I called twice with now answer while standing there. I saw 3 people in the shop walk by tried waving and was never acknowledged. Finally left and went across the street and had a great experience. Someone was actually at the front desk when I walked in there. I understand they can't always be at the front desk but more than 10 minutes without checking to see if someone is there is excessive and horrible customer service.
