Normally I don't heed caution to reviews, because I have had plenty of positive experiences at places with bad reviews. I took the risk today. I went in to see if they had time for an alignment, and no one was in the front. I noticed an employee sitting down and playing on their phone. We locked eyes with one another, and then after several minutes of waiting, I saw him go over to another employee and say something, at which point Veronica came into the front to help. Veronica was very short with me, offering little customer service, help, or information. After running through some basic information, she asked for my keys. I asked how long it would take, and she said, "Depends on how unaligned your car is." I responded, "That's fine, but if it'll take a while, like several hours, I'm going to get an Uber home." She said, "It won't take several hours." I waited, and they did pull my car in fairly quickly. In total, I believe I waited about an hour. At which point, Veronica came back in asking if I had hit something, because my tie rod ends needed to be replaced. I was in a minor accident recently, but believed that I just needed an alignment. However, I wasn't surprised that the tie rod ends may be damaged. After discussing this, she asked if I wanted to leave my car. I asked how much the replacement and labor would cost, as well as how long I'd have to leave the car. She said, "It won't be done today." That doesn't really give me much information nor does it answer my questions. I have an odd schedule, so I do find it difficult to make arrangements when things like this come up, which is why it's all the more important for me to at least have an estimation. I'm not looking for guarantees, but just something to work off of. I did eventually get some pricing, but still no estimation on time frame. I told her that I would just take the car back. Veronica left the front and went back to the garage. I was never given paperwork, physical quotes, or anything. A mechanic came in to give me the keys, and then went back to the garage. I walked out to ask if I owed anything, because I had not been charged. Veronica told me that I did not owe anything and was set. During these interactions, the phone did ring multiple times, and Veronica answered. I don't have an issue with her taking a call while we're interacting, but it seems in poor taste for her to make disparaging remarks about the callers to me while they are on hold, as she did. This is incredibly poor customer service. The whole interaction made me feel more like a nuisance than a customer. I have an idea of what's wrong with my car, I'm thankful I wasn't charged, but I won't be back. read more

wow, i had no idea that my opinion about this $@ithole is shared by so many more former customers. my wife brought her can in for an oil change, a tire alignment, and was offered an overall inspection for a deal of $10, which she agreed on. that was this sunday 4/29/25. when she got her car back, same day, it had an engine code showing 3 issues, which, of course she hadn't had when she dropped off her car. i myself maintain our fleet, an oil change though is not worth my time and i usually take it to a mechanic for that. never again! when we brought the car back on suday, of course no mechanic was present, we came back monday, of course no mechanic present, and were told to come back in the morning. today we finally met the manager who was very apologetic, instantly understood the problem, admitted that his mechanic did a sloppy job, called in the mechanic and trained him while fixing the issue. out the shop, driving for 5 minutes, now engine code and front collision warning came on. of course went back. they checked the car again and quoted us now $500 for the repair of exactly the item that they have inspected and sent us a report about on sunday. they tore the air intake tube!!!! and quoted us $400 for the part and $85 for labor!!! Amazon -part was $22, i did the job myself in under 3 minutes, literally just replacing the tube!!!! Took a vehicle in to have rear brakes, approved almost $800 worth of work then they call me at 5pm to say they couldn't find parts for a Honda Passort and the service manager was going on vacation the next day so I could try to find my own arts or come pick it up. So I say I'll come pick it up. No effort to find parts for fairly popular vehicle. Later found out that they CLAMPED THE BRAKE HOSE TO THE REAR BRAKES, didn't bother to tell me and let me drive it home this way, now no other shop wants to even look at it now because there's no way of knowing what else they did! These people were absolutely horrible. A woman walked in with a recent purchase of a used car, after a brief review of the car, the unsavory mechanic declares, this car is all messed up, nothing works, yada, yada, yada, no real clarity provided. They may as well have kicked her out of the shop and kicked the paperwork out the door behind her. The disappointment was overreaching on the customer's face who came with her toddler. I realize they are not doctors, however, they had no compassion. Then he declared "You outta be able to return it to whoever you purchased it from!" and kept moving. The customer service is less than desirable and for being a group of males, they were like a petty group of mean gal gangsters who went out of their way to show you their displeasure for you interrupting their day with requests for their services and showed the customer their annoyance openly. I would have preferred a neon sign that simply said - HEY, WE DON'T CARE and we WON'T CARE how the F*CK You feel when you leave here! If you are a woman, DON'T COME HERE! I did not get their names, so unfortunately, this is the only way that I can explain them. The black guy at the reception desk with tight clothes is rude, if you walk up to when you turn to walk to the desk, he will not speak unless you speak to him he will simply look at you like "State your case b***c!" The fat Hispanic guy who calls you to the back to tell you what's wrong with the vehicle will fast talk and when you ask what's most important, he will rudely respond with "You can just do what ya want." rolling his eyes and adjusting his cap. Then when the Asian or Hispanic guy with the ponytail who looks like a gang member realizes you are in the lobby, before he calls your name to get your attention, he will call your phone to tell you that your car is available. He will giggle about it and then when you come to the desk to obtain your keys, he will lie and act as if he wasn't aware that you were in the lobby. By that time, you are so over this horrendous experience you don't care. Furthermore, anything you ask that they please fix while you are there, will NOT be done, at all! Ruined my son's truck. Just went for tires- but left with a suggestion to get the truck a new axle due to the fact that they stripped the lug nuts. Manager was supposed to call us back...never did. After 3 visits to them- just for tires, we went for a second opinion at our expense. No axle needed but wheels were ruined. Poor customer service. Extremely disappointed. If I could leave no stars I would because I'm mad they tried to scam me. I took my car in to get a brake job because I noticed grinding while I was driving. They quote me $700 for "Front brake pads ($212), front rotors ($220), clean lube and adjust brakes ($25) and an alignment ($190)" I decided not to go through with the service and get a second opinion because I had a gut feeling they were trying to get over on me because I'm a girl. Andres (the service advisor) also charged me $10 for a brake inspection when it was supposed to be free..... I take it to another place and they tell me I only need my front brakes done.. for $165! Again, extremely disappointed that a big corporation that has this motto of "fixed right priced right" is trying to scam people.. never going here again. I made an appointment to have my tire checked out at this location. I have been there before and was treated fine but that was not the case this visit. I arrived a few minutes early and another customer arrived right after I did. We both had same issue however their car was taken into the garage and attended to prior to mine despite having a appointment. When I inquired with the young woman at the counter she was rude, disrespectful, condescending and gave me a lot of attitude. I had been waiting an hour and this is the type of customer service I received. She even went as far as to tell me I can go tell the tech to hurry up. I went in and had a tire replaced and an alignment done on 11/10/2022 when I actually drove my car down the interstate the whole bottom splash guard came undone some of clips where broken and 8 clips where missing, we had to rig it to get to my in-laws house, when we called after thankgiving the manager at the store gas lighted me saying I was wrong and it must have been from an oil change ( last oil change was in April 2022 and my oil is changed from the top of the car not the bottom ) so called the corporate number made a claim heard from claim person on 12/2/2000 and haven't heard from anyone since, i have called and called and called and no one has bothered to contact me back claims person is a no go wont return calls either so now im trying to figure out what to do since this needed to be repaired before 12/22/2022 because im supposed to be driving to my mothers house in Florida. Went this morning to get a tire put on. Cedrick waited on me. As he checked me out I asked for a piece of paper to write on. Cedrick told me here's your paperwork, you can wrote on the back of that. I again asked for a piece of paper. I don't mind if I have to pay for a sheet of paper. I asked Cedrick if I could get the manufacturs date of the tire. Cedrick told me it will be on your paperwork. I've always used Firestone for new tires but never again. I had a flat tire in the pouring rain but unable to get the tire lugnuts off because of a plastic cover. I didn't think I had the tool to do so and asked what they used to do it in the past. Guy at front insisted it was a key or it would cost 25.00 for them to remove it. He said the key was given back to me after last service but not with the spare tire tool area. He also couldn't tell what tire was last replaced though it was on the computer. Very rude and not helpful at all. I went to local competitor who informed me just needed a screwdriver to remove the plastic piece no key needed and it worked. I had a couple of tires that needed repair due to nails. I hadn't noticed the problem until late in the day (Sunday) so I was scrambling to find a place that could fix the tires. After being turned away from a couple of other shops due to lack of time, I pulled into Firestone in Hiram, Ga. The lady (Sam) at the front desk said they could get it taken care of before they closed at 5pm. Naturally, I was very grateful and relieved to hear this news as I was running out of time because most tire shops close at 5pm on a Sunday. I arrived around 3:30pm and didn't mind waiting since I was under the impression they would be able to help before closing time. About 15 minutes before they were scheduled to close for the day, they pulled my vehicle back and lifted it, checked the tires and proceeded to tell me they couldn't find anything which was a surprise to me as they were completely deflated earlier in the day. Sam said she had checked it herself and that sometimes the change in weather will cause the pressure to change. I am aware tire pressure changes due to temperature changes but not completely deflated tires. The very next morning, I was leaving for work and went to get into my vehicle to find the same tires were losing air and almost flat again. I was immediately angry because it seems that I was lied to about the problem with my tires. What's worse is they allowed me to sit and wait for over an hour thinking they would help me with my problem. If I had known they weren't going to assist me, I would have attempted to take it to another tire shop before they closed. My options were limited due to time restraints and it being a Sunday. While they didn't charge me for looking at the tires, they failed to help me either and instead of turning me away at the door, wasted my time and lied to me about their assistance. I dropped my car today at 10 in the morning and been told to wait for a phone call to pick it up and I dropped it off for an oil change new tires new and new wipers well they didn't have my tires so they did a tire rotation instead now keep in mind I got the call to pick it up at 3 pm 5 hrs later and when I got there customer service was rude and when I checked the windshield wipers they were the old ones so it took them 5 hrs to change the oil and to forget to change my windshield wipers here is another thing to keep in mind it was almost empty when I got there so there is no excuse to why it took that long while in Good Year they got the service done a lot quicker everyone was nice and easy to talk to so do your self a favor and do not under all circumstances I wasn't even sure if they did the oil change so I had to make sure that the oil and the oil filter was change so if you do go there and I don't recommend that check your car before you leave and be ready to talk to rude people if I can give them negative stars trust me I would read more

It took them one hour and 15 minutes to do and oil change and a tire rotation with me having an appointment. That is crazy slow. Most places can do an oil change in 15 minutes leaving in an hour to do a tire rotation, that is excessive. The employees at this store seem to be pretentious a-holes. The amount of time the quote people to do certain work is COMPLETELY off. They told us it was at least 5 hours to complete an oil change. It took half that, and it may have been less time because they didn't care to call to let us know it was ready. They told my Fiancé that it was going to take 7 hours for his oil change.......they did call him to let him know his car was ready...They have some of the shittiest attitudes. If they actually took the time not to be complete a-holes and offer services and EXPLAIN services they could be making more money hand over fist. I see by some of the other reviews now that I am not the only one that has experienced the complete disregard for customer service - and it seems they are well aware of the lack of care for customers and still have done nothing about this. This is what you call crappy management, 100%! Not sure we will be bringing our vehicles in ever again, EVER! It seems that every time I take my car in for my lifetime alignment or lifetime rotate and balance, I go to pick it up and the work has not been done for whatever reason. I dropped my car off the other day with instructions to align, rotate and balance the front end and check why the ac clutch was not engaging. They called back and the price kept going up on the repair - $300 to check the system, the install new Schrader valves, add freon...but another $300 to install a condenser fan. I told them stop there - I would put a fan in myself ($35 from car wreck lot). So I went to pick the car up and it had not been aligned, balanced or rotated Left it to be aligned, assuming it had been balanced and rotated; next day pick it up and the car pulls itself right off the road if I dont have my hand on it. Left it again for proper alignment last night. Called this morning and they said they never rotated and aligned the wheels (news to me) and apparently their machine alignment was pulling the car off the road. They said I probably needed two new tires to solve the problem....IF THEY NEVER ROTATED THE TIRES THEIR ALIGNMENT WAS THE PROBLEM...NOT THE TIRES! Said they could not rotate and align wheels/tires "out of specs"... a safety concern you know...sure! There service agreements are a joke, their prices on everything is sky high and they can never seem to communicate the solution unless you repeatedly take your car back to have the same problem repaired over and over again. Had 4 tires replaced and a 4 wheel alignment performed. Received the car back and found my right front wheel was scratched. Alignment was off and the steering wheel was not straight. Brought my car back expressed my concerns, I take really good car if my car and I've only had it 6 months. The wheels had minor Curb rash but it was that way when I got it. They immediately denied scratching my wheels. Even though they were nearly flawless the morning before my appointment. Redid the alignment and again the steering wheel is off and car does not track straight. This is a newer car with less than 30,000 miles. I'm extremely frustrated and now have to pay to have my expensive wheels repaired due to their negligence and have the alignment performed by a much more capable shop. Please do your self a favor and steer clear of this shop. They are not qualified and do not take care of customers vehicles. read more

Firestone employees sit around and do nothing with no regards to a paying customer and take hours to replace a single tire. I will never come here again because the company apparently strives to have employees who don't care about other's time but to do the least amount work and proudly show it around customers. This place is a total scam. Had a leak in my brake line and told them this as I dropped it off. Called me the next morning and said it was not a leak in the brake line but the master cylinder was bad which was $300 to fix, which the part was $70 and rest labor. I said ok then I guess go ahead and fix it. Then 2 hours later I get a callback that there was a leak in the brake line and it was going $200 more to fix that. I have had so many bad experiences with this place and this time I will definitely never give another dollar to this scam of a business! read more

We are now on a week with NO resolution! We keep getting the run around about how a check was ordered, and when we go into the store, they don't have it! This check was promised by the district manager Phil and was supposed to be overnighted twice! We do not even go up there anymore, we just call. Yesterday when we called, the manager Johnny Hughes called my husband a liar and hung up on him!!! We had to go to another place to purchase new tires for my car because of my traveling plans and still have NOT received our money back! We have NEVER been treated like this before in our lives! I had my daughter stop by Firestone in Hiram yesterday to have her brakes checked out. After paying for an inspection, she was told she needed 4 new rotors and brake pads. A total of $439 --- not bad IF ALL FOUR ROTORS NEED REPLACING. Went to Butler Tire in Austell. Had Willy check out the brakes and two of the rotors were good. Only 2 rotors replaced and all four break pads for $239.00. NOT HAPPY that they tried to take advantage of my daughter. We will never go back there. read more

So I needed a alignment on my truck yesterday. I made a appointment with Firestone in Hiram for 10 am. Showed up early. Waited till 11 am and they finally took my truck back and put it on the lift. I watched the tech grab one of my front wheels try to wiggle it a little bit. No slack in the steering. He then walks over to the senior tech and says the truck needs inner and outer tie rod ends. Both sides. So they refuse to do the alignment. Then give me this estimate for 797.24$. So I go to pep boys and they align the truck with no problems. I already knew the tie rod ends were good but I asked the pep boys tech how they looked and he said they have been replaced recently. I'm just putting this out there because Firestone intentionally tried to rip me off. So if you like being ripped off do business with them. I'll never step foot back on the property. So I took my 2007 Silverado with a small lift to firestone here in Hiram about a month ago. I needed an alignment so I bought the lifetime membership. Got my truck back and it was way off. I have a very busy schedule in the film business and don't have time to not have things right the first time. I took it back almost 3 weeks later because I cant get the time to go after a 75 hr work week. So now my tires have worn really bad. This time I ask for an alignment and a tire rotation. The call me for pickup, I get the truck back a second time, and it's wrong AGAIN!! They charge me $20 for the tire rotation, and I get Home and notice they where not rotated. Now I cant get back for awhile again because I have to go out of town. This ppl are lazy and don't know how to do the job right the first time and should be begging me to bring it back and fix it and they tell me when I was there to bring it back another day that they were busy and there was 3 Damn guys and what I thing is another manager just standing around. I have been a Firestone Complete customer for more than a decade throughout GA and parts of the US and THIS Hiram, GA store is THE BEST Firestone store that has serviced me...ever! The energy was great (quiet and peaceful while In was there), the location was clean, Johnny, Eric and the remaining staff were pleasant, professional, and most of all, went above and beyond to assist me as their customer. Johnny took charge of my scenario and explained everything in layman's terms. He even showed me physical examples of what I had on my car and what a new part looks like. Driving to Hiram is no where close to where I live, however, I am going to find a way to maintain a work/customer relationship with this service center. read more

If I could give this location 0 stars, I would. I have tried and tried to give this place a chance, but I can no longer do that anymore! The workers here seem so incompetent and it's scary! If you are working on my car, I need you to be competent and professional! These mofo's here are just lazy and ignorant. I have already had 3, you hear me, 3 problems with this location! The first time I came here was to see about getting my passenger side axil replaced. I drive a Fiat 500. A car that is not that dang uncommon. I came and some dude who seems to just tell you what you want to hear assured me that they can take care of it in about an hour. So I sat and waited. Mind you, where I am sitting I can clearly see my car and the workers. Do you know my car sat on the lift for about 45 minutes while the workers worked on other cars? I came in at exactly 7 am, there was one other person ahead of me. Meanwhile more customers started arriving. I asked the guy working the front desk why the wait and he said "Oh well we have to order your part and it should be here in about 30 minutes or so." Whaaaa? This couldn't have been said from the get go? Anyways 30 minutes passed and more customers are coming and going. I ask so what's the status on the part. The guy says "Oh the guy delivering the part had a flat tire, but he'll be here as soon as he can." Tf!!??!?!! At this point I'm starting to lose my patience. I had been sitting for almost two hours and no work done and lies being told. Long story short when the part finally arrived at 1pm (I had arrived at 7am mind you) it was the wrong part!!!!!!! The guy assured me that he was sorry and will work to find the correct part and if I can come back the next day he'll have the right part and will replace it. Now on to the second time, I came back at 7am. This time the part had arrived already so all they had to do was replace it. I waited about an hour before the work started. I watched the entire time while my car was being worked on. The guy working on my car got this perplexed look on his face so immediately I knew something was wrong. Sure enough the guy comes in and says the part doesn't fit. Omnmmmmggggggg! I finally told them to forget it because clearly y'all don't know what the hell you are doing here! Once again they assured me that they are sorry for the wait and will look to see if they can get the correct part ordered. But in the meantime they will put my old axil back in, since it is not "that bad" and isn't a safety hazard. Huh?! Needless to say, this location lacks professionalism and competent employees. Firestone needs to do better. My last and final time coming to this location was when I came for a simple oil change that normally takes no longer than 45 minutes at other locations that are way busier. But once again I waited over an hour to get this done and as usual I came at 9 am on Sunday which is the time they opened and was the second customer of the day to arrive. I recently visited the Hiram Firestone location for an oil change. While performing the oil change a technician noticed several leaks under the engine and informed me of them. I asked the nature of the leak and the technician informed me that if the oil pan fits back in that everything is okay. The oil change was completed and the service advisor "Andres" at the front desk called me to check out. I asked him about the leaks under the engine and he was clueless about what I was talking about. The technician didn't inform him of any of the oil leaks and didn't leave any notes on the chart. The service advisor Andres needed to ask the technician the nature of the work that was performed on my vehicle. Andres gave me bits and pieces of the issues with my car and I needed to pull information from him regarding what the cost would be and the next steps. I was very confused throughout this process, couldn't get complete answers unless I asked over and over again and on top of all that they didn't give me all of my keys back. I have been a customer of this Firestone location for over 10 years and I will not be returning due to very poor quality customer service and lack of concern for my vehicle. read more

Came in one week ago and had a complete break job. Less than a week and the breaks are squeaking. Now being told that I need to upgrade to the premium brake pads to make it stop. I Spent almost $400 and told that these brakes will squeak unless I spend more money to get more brakes. Craziest crap I've ever heard. read more

Needed some tires quickly, waiting in the waiting room with two young children including a crying baby and the team got us out of there in about 30 to 40 minutes. Why do they advertise a free code check only to tell you it could be several things and that a diagnostics will cost you $100.00. Then if they find the problem, fix it, they still charge the $100.00. So an ECT sensor repair is 150.00 but with the diagnostics its 250.00. Please. read more
