I found Jeff through a quick Yelp search and was so pleased that I did. I called on a random Wednesday afternoon asking how far in advanced are his bookings. Luckily for me, there was a last minute cancellation for the very next day and was able to squeeze me in. Over the phone he asked me what I was looking to do. I explained to him that a milestone birthday was coming up and I wanted to get my pictures taken to commemorate, and was a little unsure if he even does those kind of pictures, as I saw that he specialized in professional headshots. Almost instantly he knew what I was looking for and suggested I bring a few outfits to change. I walked in the next day with my mom and we were instantly greeted by Jeff. We again went over what kind of portraits I wanted, showing him my outfits I brought to help determine what background would fit the best. Within five minutes we were good to go and ready for the session. I had three outfits, with my hair pinned up at the beginning. After the first few pictures, Jeff suggested to have my hair down to see if having the fan on will make for a better effect. And boy did it ever! (the fact that he had a fan to get the "wind in the hair" effect was so cool!) Jeff was extremely professional and made me feel comfortable, making small talk, all while taking pictures. Once the session was finished Jeff told us to wait 15 minutes for him to get the pictures ready to look at. He suggested to stop by at the coffee shop next door while he edits. And so me and my mom did that, and true to his word, within 15-20 minutes, my pictures were ready to be previewed. After about 20 minutes of choosing, going back and forth which pictures I liked the best, I was set to go. Jeff promised that he would email me the final edited portraits within a few hours, and to which he did! Overall, I highly recommend Jeff and his studio.
