I have heard stories about how it was quite the place back in the day, but now it just strikes me as odd. There is a grocery store on the next block, and a bakery two blocks away. The B&B is on I & 13th, which is walkable to just about anything downtown. And you pass by Star the Reindeer on the way!

There's a nice boardwalk that encircles the pond which is filled with lily pads. As we walked around the lake we saw baby ducks swimming which just added to the serenity of the nature outside. Inside the venue there's a kitchen/bar and an upstairs area which was used by the bridal party to get ready - and hide from the groom! Views from the balcony are just beautiful! Flowers, trees and mountains. It's really breathtaking! You are responsible for cleaning up and table decor. The owners were very kind! My favorite thing was he fact that with the customers consent, they will donate the center pieces to the nursing home nearby.
