Luckily I have only had to deal with the Kingston branch for more than deposits on 2 occasions because the customer service that the upper level personnel in that branch provide is frustrating at best, and has me seriously considering taking my banking business to another institution. The last time I went in the Kingston branch, I had called the Norman branch to discuss my needs & they had explained to me what I needed to do. I drove the 30 minutes to the Kingston branch & explained to the teller my needs as there was no customer service representative available. He had to come out from behind the teller bank to speak with one of the women in an office who couldn't be bothered to help me and directed him to call an outside source to walk him through the procedure. After accessing my account it was discovered that I might need to come back the following week but the customer service rep would still not be available so I would actually need to drive further to the next branch. The young teller was extremely polite & very helpful, but the air & attitude from the woman in the office was anything but helpful & this was not the first time that my experience there was frustrating. I have dealt with personnel at branches in Norman, Oklahoma City, & Hugo, OK and have never had anything but positive experiences so maybe it is difficult to get good upper level employees in such a small town or maybe the training at this location doesn't focus on customer service, but unless you are dealing with the tellers or have an existing personal relationship with the people in the office I would not expect good or even decent guest service from them. I am only giving them 2 stars because all of the tellers have always been polite, efficient & competent.

My friend lost close family members in a short amount of time, and they all banked with Simmons…read more Despite knowing the account owners had died, Simmons refused to close their accounts, allowing them to be drained of their funds by automatic charges even though the beneficiaries on the accounts had asked the bank to cancel or refuse payment on all automatic charges. The overdraft fees quickly racked up to $500, and rather than being decent humans, the bank demanded payment or they would refuse to close the account, allowing them to rack up further debt. In other words, Simmons Bank is financially holding my friend's family hostage. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH SIMMONS BANK!!! I am reporting them to the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, the Comptroller of the Currency, the Federal Reserve, and the FDIC, If you live in Davis, do your banking with Pauls Valley National Bank (PVNB) or a credit union. Simmons Bank will rob you blind.
