It's a small comgregation. They sing the old hymns, have sunday school at a table in the sanctuary. They stay true to the Infallibility of the Bible. Preaching is good. He has a downhome air, willing to hold himself accountable to the Congregation. Anyone whose seeking a conservative mode of worship and Amiable group of folks will find it here. Highly recoomended. The sanctuary is clean,interiors beautiful. Parking is gravel but easy to navigate.

Why do I make the 30 minute drive versus staying in town & driving 2 miles? Because of the parishioners, the priest, and the overall friendly, welcoming atmosphere! I have attended Mass several times in Yuba City, but never felt welcomed & always felt like I was just "one more face in the crowd". At my first visit to Sacred Heart, several people greeted me, asked if I was new to the community, and welcomed me to their parish. So, for me, it was an easy decision to make! As far as the parking situation goes, there is a parking lot, behind the church, that is easy to park in. I've never had any trouble finding parking, even when I was arriving 5 minutes before Mass started! There is also parking on the street, in designated parking spots, that can fill up quickly, but the lot is big & there are always open spots.
