We contracted First Class Fencing to build us a fence at the front of the house in Spring 2023. They asked where we wanted to materials delivered. I asked they put it beside the house for security. So FCF use lumber supplier and those idiots just dumped all the wood on out front sidewalk. There were many pick-up trucks slowing down to eyeball the pile. So I end up moving it all myself to the side of the house. Then they installed the fence just fine. We contracted them to installed another fence in the backyard and specified in the contract that all materials be delivered inside out fence, for security. Or the contract would be cancelled. This point was specified 3 times. Well, same lumber supplier dumped all the wood in the alley, on the City land. The invoice attached to the wood even specified deliver into the yard. We called the lumber supplier to move or remove the wood. They wouldn't. First Class Fencing returned our deposit and took the wood away themselves. Then guess what, they deducted $300 from our deposit for their restocking Fee. They charged us for their mistake. Don't use this outfit. After 2 months of delays, the fence was installed in June of 2019. It was not properly installed from the start and I've had nothing but issues with it since. I was on holiday during the 2-day installation (done by one person who actually asked my neighbour if he could help him hold the posts) and came back to what is best described as a roller coaster for a fence. The installer did not put one set screw in any of the posts and the whole 200 feet of vinyl just floated on the ground and soon started sinking. Since then the fence has literally fallen apart in 5 different places and posts continue to sink. I was promised that they would return last fall after already being here that spring but no one ever showed up. I'd send emails to the project manager only to find that he's left and someone else had taken over who I then emailed only to find they had left as well. Finally this spring I called their office and spoke to the accounts girl to whom I had made payment (as she was the only person in the company who I knew actually existed at that point) and pleaded with her to have someone come and repair the fence. Mark from First Class Fencing came to my door a few weeks ago and looked at the issues of sinking posts and fence pulling apart in other places saying he would get the proper material and come back and correct all the issues. Photos show the issues and the quality of the repairs. So disappointing to spend so much money, have a promise of a 5-year warranty, have it never installed correctly, having to plead to get someone to look at it. And then when they do get the "proper material" it's a handful of wood and sheet metal screws drilled into the fence to kinda-sorta hold it together and nowhere close to level. I contacted Mark to offer him the chance to come back and remove the screws and fix it properly and he never responded. All the while knowing that next spring it will all fall apart again as it has done the last 2 years. Needless to say, neither I nor my neighbour would use or recommend First Class Fencing to build anything more than a dog run. read more

Horrible experience. Told in August of 2020 they would be able to build the fence in a few weeks. So we tear down the old one. They build the new one in October 2020. Except it is not what we ask for. They pressure us to accept it. We do not. April 2021 they spent a day trying to fix it. Horrible. Fence is shaky and has holes in it. Have yet to come back to finish it. Just remember the gentleman giving you the quotes will not be building the fence. He sub contracts it out - one of the workers was a 12 year old for one day! read more

He was transparent with his pricing and didn't hesitate to say why his price would be higher and also suggest competitors who might have a lower price if that was an issue. I have no idea if these guys build good fences or decks. I emailed and called Jordan on July 31 2020 and was promised quotes within a few days. I hounded him until Sept 16, 2020 (for 6 weeks). Several times I was promised quotes in a few days and I didn't even get a phone call. He finally quit returning my calls. Terrible customer service and communication. read more

Horrible service. Made arrangements for a site visit for June 15, 2020. Was told I would receive an estimate shortly. No estimate received. Called them on June 25 and was told they would check into it and I would hear back from them within a few days. Is now July 9, 2020 and I still haven't heard from them or received the estimate. read more

My chain link fence needed to be removed last year when I had a garage built in my backyard. As a result, I had a small section that needed to be connected to the garage to close off that section of the yard. I had tried contacting several other companies, and even had a couple come out to provide an estimate. Because it was a small job, none of the contractors seemed very interested in taking on the work. It may have been a small project, but it was hugely important to me! From my first contact with Tyler from First Class Fencining I was very impressed with his attitude and committment to my project. The fact that it was a small project didn't deter him. On the day that he was able to do my project, Tyler contacted me in the morning to let me know he would be coming by that afternoon. He arrived fully prepared to work, within a few hours he completed the work and the job site was left completely spotless when he was done.
