The pastors I've met are nice. I came for the caroling event and enjoyed the pipe organs a lot. I usually attend the West Dodge Lifegate church location but I miss the old traditional worship style. Upon arrival there were spaces in the front of the parking lot marked off for guest which was so nice. We were welcomed when we entered with smiles and handshakes. The building is stunning and decorated so nicely for Christmas. The songs sung here are amazing and the band is so good! An amazing service that we talked about for hours! The combination of the Church, Mosque, and Synagogue makes for a collaborative and communal space for shared faith. I attended an open house at the welcome center and the staff was incredibly nice and helpful. I often take walks along the walking bridge on Hells Creek which was also constructed as part of the initiative. Looking forward to seeing how they continue their outreach to the Omaha community!

The Tri-Faith Initiative is a unique (at least it's the 1st and only time I've seen something like…read morethis) collaboration between a Christian Church, a Jewish Synagogue and a Muslin Mosque. All 3 are located on adjacent parcels and are connected by a circular walkway with 2 bridges across Hell's Creek. The United Church of Christ (Countryside Community Church) just dedicated their new home in April while the synagogue and mosque were completed earlier. Still to be completed is a joint community center that will be shared by members of all three faiths.
