Arvest refused to refund the money, saying I willingly sent the money. Why would I willingly send money if I knew it was a scam ???? I was literally on a video call talking to the friend I was sending the money to, her voice was the same. I had no idea I was being scammed !! I also received a check from my home insurance company for a new roof, automatically deposited, along with my work check. Arvest withdrew the deposits not once, but twice from my account, so I could give my contractor a cashiers check. This happened November 29th 2024, leaving my account negative. Arvest told me I wouldn't get the money back until December 9th, 2024, including my employment check. I'm done with Arvest !! Hot Springs, AR.
