She took the time to listen, explained everything clearly, and got me set up with a shot and prescriptions to help me start feeling better right away. I accompanied my daughter to see Dr. Linh as she had an ingrown toenail that had gotten infected. Dr Linh took plenty of time with us, and we never felt rushed or that she was. then, she presented two courses of action and allowed us to choose the one my daughter was most comfortable with. My whole family uses First Point despite having primary care docs - you can always be seen at First Point the same day; unlike many other places. Highly recommended! read more

Update: they called me and said they would cancel the credit card charge. Not sure if it's because they figured out they were wrong on their own or due to this review, but same day, which is definitely the fastest I've ever got billing help from any type of healthcare business. Don't understand how HRA's work. Made me pay out of pocket when they are supposed to submit claims to my insurance and HRA. I have had the same insurance for over 7 years. If I could give this zero stars, I have been there two times. I have been there to get an x-ray because I hurt my ankle. They gave me the x-ray and said that it was broken believe or not if you days later they gave us a call and said that they read it wrong and the radiologist said there was no break or fracture. They said just take it easy. If you're coming here to get an x-ray, don't come because they're always gonna be wrong. read more

I will never, ever go back here. I am furious. They forced me to pay a bill twice by threatening to put the bill into collections when I had already paid. It was their mistake that they credited it to the wrong account. I've been promised at least 3 times that they would send a check to me "the following day" to reimburse me. Experience was absolutely horrible. From beginning to end. The staff was beyond rude and big headed. I came in for a Nasopharyngeal PCR test. I asked prior to swabbing if it was a NP PCR test and they said yes. I received my test results and it stated sample was a "nasal swab". Per the country I entered they do not accept nasal swabs only NP. The office ensured me that their nasal was NP and that's just how they type it out. I asked them to avoid future problems on my flight if they could correct it to say the whole thing then and they said no they could not. Then I asked if a doctor could write a note to explain their terminology and said no they will not. Whole staff was rude and unhelpful. I am the patient paying for a service and I am entitled to PROPER documentation. Nasal and NP are not the same thing. I worked at an urgent care facility doing the 3 types of testing "nasal" "nasopharyngeal" and "antibody" almost since Covid first began. I literally did what they did for income and have a bachelors of science and masters of science degree in this field. Not only that but it is google-able to see the difference between the two types of swabs. I know my anatomy of the human body. Nasal and nasopharyngeal are not the same type of swabs which is why the country requires it to be clearly stated on the test results. They threatened to call the police on me (mind you I didn't threaten them throw anything or anything or the sorts). They were upset there was bass in my voice after they repeatedly told me they wouldn't correct my documentation. No empathy whatsoever. I had to speak to the police and told Them what was going on and they left since I once again did not do anything illegal I was simply a patient trying to get proper documentation I was entitled to. I was going to Barbados for medical school this isn't a leisure trip and the day of my flight was the last I could take to get there during the semester. I had to have not only my father to try to handle the situation where he got the same exact care I got. We ended up having to go through the highest authority of the company to get the documentation we asked for. The head of the company was super helpful with our situation and was an example of how it should have been handled in the beginning. I spent 3 hours there trying to get that documentation fixed. I couldn't even get the additional blood testing I asked for I was being told I had to go to a different facility because they "ran out of supplies". Ridiculous and negligent. The medical assistant proceeded to tell me I should "understand" being in the medical field. No... none of the practices I work with ever ran out of supplies. We do inventory everyday and order once a week that isn't a medical field problem that's a facility problem of y'all not doing your job. The entire experience was horrible I canceled the remaining Testing I was going to have done because I'm not contributing a single additional dime towards this company. They had already tried to get over on me by not running both my insurances that I provided in my paperwork prior to my appointment that would have cost me $170 if they didn't add my second insurance. I will never in my life return to this facility and if anything this facility has shown me the type of employees I absolutely will not be hiring at my private practice in the future. This one star goes towards the head supervisor at the other Gardner location since I had to call them to have this situation handled and her solely because if I could have given 0 stars for this KC company location I would have. read more

I highly recommend having a PCR test here if you are traveling. I signed up in the evening, was scheduled for an appointment, and had my test complete by 11am the next morning. The process is very easy and very fast. As long as you fill out all of the paperwork it will take about 30 minutes. The Nurse and her assistant were very friendly and helpful. I went there on a Sunday morning half hour after the opening time, to find the receptionist sprawled all over the sofa in the waiting room (wth?) and the doctor not going to be in "for another 45 minutes." I had errands to run in another part of the metro area, so I found a different urgent care clinic that was prepared to actually treat patients. What a concept. EDITED TO ADD that an employee has responded to this review by flat-out lying about what I was told and disputing what I clearly saw when I walked into the place yesterday morning. No, you did NOT tell me the doctor had "gone to run an errand down the street and would be there in four to five minutes," you told me the doctor was driving over from Kansas and would be there in FORTY-FIVE MINUTES." I may have had ear problems yesterday but I'm not deaf. And you don't clean coffee tables by lying flat out on a sofa next to one. I notice that over on Google you also argue with people who leave you poor reviews. That says a lot about your business practices. I won't be back and I won't be recommending you. read more

Awful!!! The NP continually did not listen to my concerns and information asked. I corrected her over a handful of times on symptoms (I never said he had) and start dates. She refused to look up his nose for assessment (even after testing negative to COVID at their location 5 minutes prior to seeing him) because "his face looked fine". She was completely unprofessional and proceeded to tap on his forehead to show his sinuses were fine after informing her that he had a headache from the middle of his head to the front of his head. My wife and I went to First Point today, I can't begin to say good things about Kelly and all of the staff there. We got there close to closing time, we didn't feel rushed or unwanted. They made sure that my wife was comfortable and that she was not having any complications from treatment. We will definitely go back if the need arises. read more

I went here for the first time on a weekend and it was pretty busy. No big deal! The people at the front desk were super. I was in and out in 2 hours, but I was disappointed to see a nurse practitioner when I thought this was one of the lone facilities staffed by MD's. She was nice, but the walk-in clinics in the grocery stores and pharmacies could've accomplished that in much less time. Also, I would like to see the information about the providers on their website in English. It looks like it's there only in Vietnamese. Would probably go back. This took place January 2020// My husband was sick and we went to urgent care to hopefully get him some relief. They say they close at 5pm on Sundays. We got there 20 till 5pm and in the rush of trying to get there my husband left his insurance card at home. They were very quick to send him out the door saying there was nothing they could do for him. He came out to the car to tell me and they shut off their 'open' sign. I went back in very irritated and asked if they can use mine to look his up since he's the primary and she said she would try. He went back in and they locked the doors behind him at 4:45 pm. Thankfully it worked out for him to use my card because he ended up having the flu. But last I checked the office hours are until 5:00 and not 4:40. Please remember that you're there to help people even if it's inconvenient to you. read more

Came by as a walk-in and was immediately greeted by the physician. Helped me sign-in and do all the paperwork. The nurse took me back and everything was fairly quick. Dr. Ryan was very knowledgeable & friendly. Answered any questions I had and proceeded to give me additional information as needed. The visit was very comfortable and didn't have to wait very long. My husband was coughing all night long so we went online and found First Point urgent care clinic open on Sunday. We were the first patients there and no wait. The assistant took all our info and vitals and swabbed both of us for strep and flu. Dr. Tu Ahn Luong checked us thoroughly and gave thoughtful consideration of all we told her. Tests came back positive for Flu B. So happy we went in right away! Very happy with the great care and we will be using this clinic again. read more
