I noticed what is heard is a hundred percent, correct, and pleasing to God. God explained this to me also. Followers of the King James version of the bible. More honest to the bible than any Church I ever been in. Going back to the Christian church for a visit after, I realized what was missing. The feeding of my soul at preach, and praise. It was at Sonora Christian Life Center, I found, a congregation of people ready for Christ return. The blessed Pentecostals. Not like the regular Christian church waiting for Jesus Christ return, counting on all his promises, without Christ Like, praise, in the will of God. But a church of people who want to be Christ Like with their whole being, they ready for Christ return. They humble and welcoming and may not know this about this, but this is what God shown me of these people. What I witness ever time I go, in a small church, of little finance. Sunday at 10 am. Wednesday at 6pm. They have the most honest preaching, prayer, and praising, going on. The visiting Reverend Craig Treadwell, should be looked up on youtube to hear his last days preaching, and other preaching. The preacher is so informative, about what is really going on in the world, and does well to relate it to the bible. The Pasture and his wife the Mores, are the most proper of all Preachers, I ever heard on the face of the earth. The genuine soulful love for God of this couple, is so pleasing to God he show me, as are Gods devoted followers there present. When the preachers wife sing, these old hymnals. You feel right though her heart, its all for, Glory to God. Along with another beautiful souled woman, with a heart for God, who accompany her on a second piano. You may feel like you have stepped back in time. But the time will feel like, the time in your life, that you have been closest to God. The church I pray fill. Because all the Christians, I know who love God with their whole heart, belong there. Likely all who love God, with their whole being from all religions. Its the missing link, to a Christ Like preparation, by faith, prayer, praise, and worship. I feel like we should all be there, where God shows me done well, is his will, through religion. What he requires at revelation, by souls getting ready for his judgement, and Christ return. Praising God and worshiping him, with their whole heart and soul. They are welcoming, you will feel like you are praying with your family, the family you have, with a amazing love for God. Unlike other Christians church, I seen no shunning, just all wanting a world of people. to come to love God as they do. This church experience, would give you the most wisdom, truth, and accuracy of the Bible, from what I seen. While they are putting the lessons of the bible to action, in praise and worship, and personal prayer, for all. It is the best experience I had, in a church, in my life, time. By God, I been a student of all most Christian Churches. Now it an honor learning the way of the devoted Pentecostal Christians. Sent by God, to understand the lives of most every kind of Christian Church, we need unity. The Messianic Jews, also is quite awesome,. I sent the to 7th Day Adventist, for a short time. I been raised Catholic. Grateful for this, seeing the beauty of Catholicism. Rejecting the corruption, and that plague mine and my ancestors religion. Witnessing since childhood, and as shown by God, it problematic by politics, and pedophiles. Beauty of the sacrifice, for your soul at Gods will, such a vital knowledge. Having God had explained most every ancient religion to me. God having been my interpreter of the Bible, and religion. Praying to be his servant, not of my own will, want, or need. I have seen what he wills me, for documentation, and growth. Every one deserves to see what I found, for the sake of their soul, at this Pentecostal Church. This knowledge of praising God in the most Christ Like way, to honor him. I don't know if God will eventually have me move on to document more as his messenger. But I pray if it is his will, I get to stay at this church. that feed my soul, with proper worship, and proper lessons of the bible. To describe it I say, The regular Christian church feel like the lessons are for a child. The lessons taught through the bible at this church, for those getting a doctorate in the bible, proper prayer, praise, and worship. Who still want to learn and grow in the will of God, till the last breath they breath. I am grateful for what I have learned, felt, and witnessed, in the will of God at this church. I pray the whole world, people of every religion, come to experience this.. Proper love for Our Almighty Creator, who deserves everything we are offered for his use.

I don't think I ever visited a new church on vacation and wished that church could be relocated to…read more where I lived. I felt that way about St. Patrick's during the two Masses I attended over the Christmas holidays. The homilies of both were memorable, the priests warm, personable, and welcoming. On Christmas Day our priest started the Mass late because he was chatting and didn't realize how late it was. To watch him you could tell he was obviously a good friend to many of the parishioners, and seemed to know everyone by name. My gay-dar pinged when he started Mass which might have been why I immediately liked him. (I love me some gays.) In fact, during the homily when he said "swaddling clothes... whatever THOSE are," I couldn't help but hope he'd slip a sing-song "fabu-lous!" next, although the only gays who do that are in movies. His homily was easily the best I've heard all year - fun and interesting to listen to and inclusive and welcoming. It reminded me of the joy of having a class with a really good professor you could listen to talk all day. The next Mass had a different officiant. He had a really interesting homily about the "Twelve Days of Christmas" song, and you could tell everyone was really listening. My family even talked about the homily in the car on the way home after Mass. The only minor quibble I had was that the priests stand right in front of the back doors of the church when Mass is over so you can't avoid shaking hands with them. I figure priests shake as many hands as politicians so I couldn't wait to get home and sanitize. Also, the front steps are really steep. I note this because my dad walks with a cane and they were a bit much for him. The choir, and in particular the main cantor, had a really impressive soprano range. The guy on piano who resembled Clarence Thomas had a really nice deep voice as well. Except for Clarence Thomas and a smattering of Mexicans, this church was full of honkeys. And lots and lots of old people. And those old people might not know a friend of Dorothy even if he preached right in front of them.

They do the most beautiful thing ever when it comes to the Resurrection of Jesus Christ. The acting and efforts to reenact Jesus Christ last day on earth,. Its done by people who love God, with all their heart. It is the most perfect production, I ever seen done, on this earth. They had only charged a token dollar admission. This church is incredibly giving, and not the wealthiest financially, but in Spirit, and Faith, incredibly rich. They have a wonderful thrift store to support and give to in Sonora. This church is welcoming to those who don't have a lot to give financially, I noticed, they are not judgmental, or unwelcoming in anyway, love God and feel welcome. They are rich in the will of God. Other Christian Churches, hospitality, and making all feel included, truly can lack, compared, I noticed. Especially to those as myself lead by the Holy Spirit, commanded by God. Christian Heights, is wonderful to al that come. They sit at round tables, and pray and worship, it create a real feel of togetherness. The lessons of the preacher, are very worth hearing, and do well for the soul, follow the bible, and serve God. They offer a lot, and have a dinner on Wednesday night, before service. I have recently been led by God to a Pentecost church, but as far as a Christian Church in Tuolumne, as God has led me to many different ones. This is absolutely a genuine Church and Congregation, loving God. Hope you go and see for yourself. Pray to hear God, his unique will for you, is your destiny. Do as Jesus showed us with his life, and live to please God. Hearing him is the greatest gift of my life. Inside, the cottage rooms were comfy and clean. The kitchen was great and had all the cookware, utensils and tea bags needed. Outside was otherworldly. The Biblical Garden walk, the lake view, the fruit trees and flower beds were all captivating. I can truly say that this place has given me one of the most tranquil experiences I've had. Do you know who is Samuel Clemons? If you guessed him by his author pen name, Mark Twain... you…read moreguessed right. Did you know California's historic landmark #138 is no other than Mark Twain's cabin. Well, it's a replica with the original fireplace and chimney. It's in Tuttletown on Jackass Hill Road off Highway 49 in Tuolumne County. It's about one mile up the road. The replica was built in 1922 and again in 2002. The cabin is next to residential homes. I could imagine back in the day, the view must have been awesome! The lot has room for parking. The cabin itself is gated and not accessible. But the door is open and you can peek inside from afar. I couldn't see much because it was dark inside. There are a few information boards on site with historical information. There is not much to look at. I soaked up everything in less than 15 minutes. There are no seating or viewing platforms. From the info boards, I learned that Samuel Clemens happen to be traveling from Virginia City, Nevada, to San Francisco with some friends and stopped here in December 1864. He stayed until the end of February 1865. While there, he wrote "The Celebrated Story of the Jumping Frog of Calaveras County". He got the idea after hearing the story of a jumping frog contest in a saloon in the nearby town of Angels Camp. I goggled this info.. In 1867, he went on to publish that story as the cover story for his book of collective short stories. The book included previously published stories. The book turned out to be a success with rave reviews about the "Jumping Frog". So some may say, his time spent in this area with the colorful townsfolk launched his career.

It's a little over a mile up a residential road that is somewhat steep and very poorly maintained (4wd not required but it's bumpy). The cabin itself is a replica that was built in 1922 and renovated in 2002. The only piece of the original cabin is the stone fireplace and chimney. Even the land around the property has been developed to an unrecognizable state as to when he stayed here. Yes, in this very spot he supposedly wrote "The Celebrated Jumping Frog of Calaveras County" but it's more of an idea of what he lived like. There is parking in the lot for about 5-6 cars but even on a weekend you most likely won't see anyone else. You can't get in to the cabin, as there is a fence around it, which seems silly since it's not authentic. It is open sunrise to sunset. There are no seats, tables, or anything to do other than take a quick picture. It's an important footnote in the history of the American West but if you are looking for better preserved structures with historical significance it's better to explore nearby Columbia State Park.
