We have spent a little time at First Baptist in our short time in this town. We are new here and…read morevisited four other churches, all different faiths. The congregation and Reverend at this church are different, they are set apart from their peers. We know no one and were welcomed with unconditional friendliness. And to this day, six months later, we feel that these people are different, more caring, more welcoming, somehow more living their faith. We are a little scared to join a new community, but the people at First Baptist make us feel comfortable and welcome to their church family. We really appreciate the way they have encouraged us to be a part of their group.
