Such great people and a great congregation. I visit this congregation from time to time. When you visit, you'll feel welcomed at home.

I don't usually leave reviews, but this has been weighing on me. My experience at The Church at…read moreClayton Crossings hasn't been what I hoped for. I came looking for community and a place to grow in my faith, especially through the young adult ministry, but things didn't turn out that way. I was removed from the youth adult ministry group by Kathy and Greg (the leaders for that group), and the way it was handled felt really hurtful and pretty petty, not very Christian like. There wasn't much understanding, just kind of a sudden door closing. Luckily I belong to a new youth adult ministry group and the people in the group are very welcoming and non judgemental. I'm not writing this out of anger, just honesty. I still believe in God and the importance of church, but I think it's important for people to know that the experience here doesn't feel welcoming or supportive.

The interior is so beautiful and I was tickled to see a coffee bar! They have a fantastic gym and play area for the kids. I briefly talked to a few of the regular attendees/greeters for Sunday morning church and they were super informative and made me feel very comfortable about my thoughts of visiting. The place seems to be extremely organized and well thought out. They have plenty of parking and have easy access from highway 70. I'm excited to visit here in the future!

I cannot say enough how much Temple has help guide me and my family. I'm not perfect so I don't…read moreexpect a perfect church but I'll say it's been a godsend to a community that I've grown up in. We have found family in this church on Sunday as well as Friday nights. The Recovery Alive ministry has been a quantum leap in Johnston County as far as pulling the conversation of drug use, alcohol, mental illness and many more stigmas into the light. It's support for the addicted, battered, the wayward, young adults as well as those who work in supportive roles in the community is beyond what can be believed. I'm not sure if this app gives names but I'm not ashamed to share with anyone reading this that my name is Luther and if your on the fence for coming on a Friday night or Sunday morning and feel like you'd not know anyone please ask anyone greeting you and they will find me and you can sit with me and mine. God does love you.

NOT GOOD. During this time I came to this church in desperate need, begging for help, my lights got shut off which turned my security cameras off and had my kids and 73 yr old dad in the cold at home. I'm worried, lost, frightened and when I arrived Dorothy just handed me a paper and after filling it out she just handed me a card and said they will call me at the end of the day. I tried to explain my urgent situation while tears are running down my face and show proof of the intensity of the domestic violence situation but she didn't care to see it or listen. I asked if I can sit in my car and wait and she said "no we will call you" . Later that day...no call. The next morning..no call so I called at 11 am to check to see if I got approved for assistance and she asked multiple questions of "why I came to them instead of other places and how did I hear about them and why didn't I go to any other organizations". I explained how I drove around ALL day looking for organizations to help with no luck and social services couldn't help because my income was too high but I recently no longer have income because of the domestic violence situation and I have a man out looking to kill me and my kids, So I just need help this one time please I beg, I need my electricity on so my kids can get warm and my security cameras can turn on so I can watch my cameras, your my last option!." (To turn them on I needed 330.00) . The domestic violence harbor house said they have no assistance or shelter, no shelter I called had any room available. What am I to do?? Your my last option...She said she will call me back . 10 mins later I get a call and she states " we can't help you" at that moment I break down in tears , and she listens a bit to my cry as I fumble with words trying to speak, she then said..." ok bye" and hangs up in my face . No encouragement, no prayer, no comfort." I'm lost for words. I'm now sitting at home loosing faith.
