Very quick. There's only one guy in there so you might have to wait in line, but it doesn't take that long. I'm not sure what type of service you're expecting but I just needed to pass smog and he sends the certification to the DMV automatically. I got my dmv notice in the mail on a Saturday, registration was due next day, Thank you DMV. First stop smog was the only available shop open on a Saturday. Either way, I got there on a Monday around 11:45 am and was helped right away (he was just finishing up with someone else). Don't ever go here! This place has the worse customer service I have ever experienced. I called this guy and he gave me a rate of $56.95 for the smog check (not including the certificate). I noticed there was a coupon to the place which had no expiration date. So I decided, heck, I might as well bring it in and see if he'll still honor it. So I walked in, and with no greeting whatsoever, he said "You called earlier?" I said yes, and then I asked if he still honored the coupon, and he said rudely, "what did I tell you?" And I said, "You said $56.95, but some places honor the coupon" and he just said "56.95" is the price. Right there and then, I decided to take my business elsewhere. What a rude man! Yuck. read more

I take my car here every 2 years to get it smogged.. recently my engine light was on and he was hesitant about smogging it.. he recommended me to the shop across the way which is another awesome business. needless to say my engine light went off and by chance the car passed smogged. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!! My company uses him for our shop vehicles so I went to him for the discount a couple of years ago. I did save some money when I left there....I saved all of it! He was the rudest person I had ever encountered and told me to take my business elsewhere. Due to convenience I thought I'd give him another shot today. Let's face it: no one wants to spend their time or money on DMV-required smog checks. Based on Yelp reviews, I decided to try this shop. Although there were 2 people ahead of me when I arrived, the man working there was friendly and efficient so I was able to get in and out quickly. I went there in October for a smog check but it failed due to engine service light was on. The guy offered a free retest if I come back within 30 days. I came back within 30 days after I fixed the problem and he gave me a free retest. Will definitely return in the future! read more

I read all the reviews and was sold on going here, so I printed my coupon and off I went. It was a Monday and I arrived at about 5:15, only to learn that they close at 5. So convinced it was worth the trip, I arrived on Tuesday at 4:15, only to find a sign on the door that said "see you on Wednesday". At that time I called the # on the door and left a message asking if I needed an appointment and left my #. I never heard back. Wednesday I tried again, thinking 3rd times a charm, and finally was able to get the test. it took 35 minutes, (not the 15, everyone talks about in all the other reviews and even after the coupon, it cost me $50.00 (not the $30-$40 all the reviews talked about. I am not so much disappointed in the service I received, but only that I went out of my way for something that could have been done on my first trip anywhere else at the same cost.
