Anyway, the check was returned (waiting to find out why or if it is true) for $5.70 The bank did not notify my mother who is on Social Security, they just closed her checking account. This wasn't on our part or anything we did. They didn't contact her and when she gets online it is still showing the account as if it is still open. I called to find out if they can reopen due to her money being deposited next week and bills being ACH withdrawn. They said no you can come back in with the mailed SS Check and open a new account! no thanks you're a piece of shit bank and we should of known that when you put a 15 day hold on funds from the previous account she had. When we all know the funds are available within 48-72 hours and actually could of been withdrawn that day and moved over to the new account. So basically GFY- IBC
