Interior: First of the day at first lunch, I felt lucky
    Raye Z.

Started breakfast at First Watch Champions Gate, in Champions Gate, FL, with bottomless coffee, even though there's no way I could ever drink that much. The service was quick and attentive, probably because I was the first one in that morning. I tried the seasonal menu item that caught my eye in the photo. It was a breakfast sandwich stacked with bacon, a pork sausage patty, scrambled folded eggs, cheese, and a sweet jam, all on a croissant. I skipped the house-pickled jalapeños because I wasn't ready to go that bold in the morning. The sandwich was huge and filling. I didn't eat it as a handheld, as it can get pretty messy. Overall, a solid four-star breakfast. Next time, I'd ask for the sweet jam on the side, since too much of it kind of overpowered the eggs. The space is open and airy, a good place to start the morning.

Scrumptious!!! Ordered a hash with eggs over medium, I think this is becoming my go-to breakfast order. The mixture of ingredients made this dish perfectly flavored. It was soo much food, I had to take the almost half of it to go. FRESH SQUEEZED ORANGE JUICE, what makes a great breakfast place? THIS!!!!! Our wait staff was both friendly and attentive. We came on a weekday, so this place wasn't as packed as during peak times where they have a line around the restaurant. Parking is super easy. When you are in the area and want a solid breakfast, this is the place to go!!!

Stopped in for brunch at First Watch and had a pretty average experience. It wasn't super busy when we dined in, but the service still felt a bit slow. That said, I do appreciate the wide variety of options on the menu, there's definitely something for everyone. I ordered the power breakfast bowl and while I really enjoyed the mushrooms, the dish overall was very bland. I don't usually eat anything spicy, but I actually had to add hot sauce just to get some flavor out of it, which was disappointing. My boyfriend got the biscuits and gravy and thought it was a bit on the salty side, but not terrible. Nothing was awful, but nothing wowed us either. I might come back another time just to try something else on the menu and see if it hits better next time.

I put our name on the waitlist 30 minutes ahead of time. When we got there, we still had to wait an extra 20 minutes. It was a Saturday morning so I understand but just felt like I wanted the wait time to be more accurate. All of the food came out looking gorgeous. Picture perfect, as you can see. Most of it tasted really good but I was disappointed with the fresh toast as it tasted just like plain bread. The waiter was very nice and he make sure we had whatever we needed. Overall it was a nice bunch with my mom and husband. I would go back just make sure I order something else and perhaps not on a Saturday morning.

I'm absolutely loving the holiday menu! I tried the cinnamon chip pancakes and their signature potatoes (which are always a favorite). I'm also currently obsessed with their kale tonic - it's surprisingly refreshing. Everything tasted incredibly fresh and delicious. It was a fantastic breakfast, and I'll definitely be returning again soon. I like first watch for good breakfast when you need something quick. I heard the tacos were good too, I couldn't try them because they are pulled pork.

Food was excellent. Staff was very friendly and attentive. We ate there twice while on our trip and very quick service. Try the Morning Meditation.

Great customer service! Was in town for the American Bowl game and our large party with 2 infants was seated within 10 minutes of waking in. Great Service, Great Food!

This was my second time visiting First Watch! It's a great location; however, you may have to wait a bit before your table is ready. The food is delicious. Our waitress was very attentive as well! Great breakfast spot!

Salmon bennny with avocado + hollandaise on side
    Elnara S.

The food was great! I ordered the salmon eggs Benedict with the hollandaise on the side (strongly recommend the option to folks who don't want their bread soggy!), added avocado to the dish. I think the avocado portion could've been a little more generous -- but honestly between that and the tres leches toast and some hot tea.. I was having a GOOD solo date! Shout out to the kitchen for getting that toast out 5 mins before wrap up. Much appreciated! Quality didn't suffer. Respect.

I loved the aesthetic of this spot. Our server was prompt and efficient and offer great recommendations. Portion sizes are huge. The food was tasty and didn't take long to come out. We had pancakes, bacon, grits, and an omelette with toast. We also tried the kale tonic and it was very refreshing.

Carly was our breakfast server. Excellent and friendly. John, the Director of Operations also came to our table to chat. This is the second First Watch establishment we've visited, and it won't be the last. I had the TriFecta platter and coffee. My wife had an egg sandwich and fruit cup with tea. If I could give 10 stars for the food and service, I would.

I first went to this restaurant around 18 months ago, we finally went back and it was a whole other kind of experience. Our waiter was phenomenal, the food was much better than the last time. It was hot, it was well seasoned, the eggs were perfectly poached and the hollandaise had a great hint of lemon. My husband loved the potatoes. We will go back again.

BLTE eggs benedict, cold brew, seasonal hash

Tammy was exceptional! I felt bad because I mentioned my cold brew tasted "off" and almost "cucumbery". She made a whole new batch of cold brew just for me. She was so kind and accommodating, and definitely went above and beyond!

I was genuinely surprised at the fruit - I was expecting the standard 'melon & grapes' mix but it turned out to be fresh berries, bananas & oranges. Loved every bit of it - couldn't finish the omelette but that's on me to order a 2 egg omelette, not a standard 3. I even loved their method of mimosa - providing a personal bottle for me to pour at my leisure Date loved his French toast and the home fries were perfectly crisp. The initial experience was greeting by the host, who took our size and had us seated to wait. Another party of 5 came in behind us, gave their name to another lady. That party was accidently seated before us and in the table that had a high chair. Kinda a bummer. Then the food: it was just ok. Nothing excellent. $76 for 4 meals felt kinda expensive for florida but... it is what it is. The oddest thing was the coffee mugs. Theyre square outside and round inside. Making the area where you drink from naturally a corner... which is awkward af to drink from. The toast came late, we were missing forks. ‍ Again, wont be back.

Unfortunately, I believe my party of six may have caught them on a bad day. I can't remember the exact name of my meal however I do know that I got the scrambled eggs, biscuit, bacon, and the hash brown (it's a meal). As well as the cinnamon roll biscuit on the side. The two things that I loved were the biscuit and the hash brown. Despite the biscuit being lukewarm, it was very fluffy and delicious so I'm going to give it points for that. The croquettes were potatoes with green onion. They were cooked to perfection perfectly crispy on the outside, but still fluffy and seasoned on the inside. They were a five out of five. The bacon tasted as if they cooked it 30 minutes prior and just let it sit under a warm warmer. The same goes for the eggs. I actually could not eat the eggs because they were cold and were the texture of the free eggs you get at a hotel breakfast. Three people out of my party of six had to send their food back because it was not hot. I will say staff was very nice about it but when you order food, it should be hot. The chai latte that I ordered. Was delicious. The fried green tomatoes were also very good. I did not order them but someone in my party did and of course I tasted them. The cinnamon roll biscuit was just OK. It wasn't terrible and it wasn't great. Again, the service was excellent. Everyone was very kind, but I can't say this is a restaurant that I HAD to visit again. Would I swing by if I was in the area possibly; probably just to get a biscuit. So overall, my experience wasn't that great but it wasn't terrible either.

One thing I believe in is when a restaurant is consistently packed, that signifies the food is good. Along with other groups of people, I had to wait to be seated, but it wasn't for long. I followed the hostess through the spacious restaurant until he placed me at a small booth table. My server was very pleasant. She approached the table, warmly greeted me, and asked if I would like some orange juice, which I gladly accepted. At the same time, I placed an order for their apple cinnamon french toast. Wow, I was impressed with the presentation. Three thick slices of bread nicely browned with cinnamon-spiced apple filling and dusted with powdered sugar. This dish didn't need any syrup. The flavors from the apples was just enough and it was so ooey-gooey good. The meal was thoroughly enjoyed and I received satisfactory service. I am definitely looking forward to my next visit.

The restaurant itself is pretty average in terms of decor and could definitely use a refresh, both in seating and overall appearance. Upon first impression, cleanliness was lacking in certain areas, which set the tone a bit. Once seated, a busser took our drink orders, and our server came by shortly after to introduce herself and let us know she'd return to take our order. After ordering, the food came out in about 20 minutes, which was reasonable given how busy they were. Portion sizes were generous, definitely more food than we could finish. However, service became inconsistent as we were attended to by multiple staff members, likely due to the rush. We experienced the longest delays waiting for basics like syrup, drink refills, and utensils after the food had already been delivered. As for the food, it was good but fairly average for a breakfast spot. While everything was prepared well, it lacked the standout flavor you'd expect after nearly an hour wait. Additionally, the women's restroom was noticeably dirty and not well-maintained, which was disappointing and reinforced the overall impression that cleanliness could use more attention.
