I am so late to the party! Finally made it here for breakfast since my friend was visiting from out of town and I don't like to cook much when I have visitors. I noticed on their website that you can get on the "wait in line" list so I added hubby's info. Well, when we got there there was no line at all and we were seated right away. A few minutes after we were seated our server Miranda was taking our drink orders. She did a great job with her recommendations and I was not disappointed at all. Looking over the menu, I was undecided. So many good choices to choose from. We decided to get an order of the Lemon Ricotta Pancakes and The Traditional with no substitutions. My hubby ordered the Multi-grain pancake with regular bacon. Lemon Ricotta Pancake - this is the first pancake that I could actually taste Lemon! It was fluffy and so yummy and the lemon curd just adds extra flavor to it. The Traditional - Everything was cooked perfect. The favorite was the meaty sausage and potatoes. Multi Grain Pancake - Hubby who is not a healthy eater loved it. He also loved the bacon and said it's very meaty. For my drink I got something from the juice bar. Miranda recommended the Pineapple Express. It was deelish! I don't know why I waited so long to stop in. I always get something different each time I come back. This time I got the avocado toast. I heard of it but I've never had it before. Why have I waited so long?!! the food isn't like amazing, but it's good for the price and convenience. it was just me stopping to have breakfast on a saturday and the community table they have is an awesome idea. its just a big table where anyone can just sit quickly, have breakfast, and then get in and out and i appreciate that a lot. they have a fall menu too right now so that's a plus. but above all, i appreciated the amazing service. the workers are what made my experience for me and i was walking out having a great day because of it. he didn't tell me his actual name he said he goes by "grandpa" lol but he's a busser and is full of good energy and was so pleasant to be around. i was enjoying my breakfast and having an amazing conversation with him and he really made my day with his kindness. i would go back again! read more

I ordered food for delivery & when I opened the bag (bag was still intact with closed sticker) I was very disappointed to see this... first, I was under the assumption that you should get 3-4 sausages since that's what is normal in the restaurant. Went for a quick brunch today 9/19/21 This place is crazy busy at least on Sundays. We called ahead 45 minutes ahead of arrival. We still ended up waiting for about 30 minutes I must admit that I hate to wait on other but this place was worth the time waiting. Server was quick and attentive. Food was a little slow but that may be because I was hangry. My party of 3 was all very happy with our lunches. My eggs were a little runny but I normally would ask for them that way. I ate them all. I will probably need to come back and try something different but overall, I liked this place. The reason for the 3 stars was that my food was way too salty. But I am not sure if it is because of the dish I ordered and the method that it was cooked. I had the Farm house hash. The skillet it was in May have been seasoned a bit much. Overall, I liked the dish but again wish it was less salty. The place is clean. Organized. We'll staffed. The staff was friendly and on it. There was lots of food items I wanted to try and plan to come back and get different things as I love breakfast and this place has lots to choose from. I did grab some of their donuts to go and those too were very good. If you're in the area, give it a try. Could be worth your time for breakfast/brunch/lunch. read more

First off super happy there's a First watch in Austin! I enjoy their rotating seasonal menus and their non rotating menu lol Today I had the farm house skillet with over medium eggs, and yup still delicious! We also ordered million dollar bacon for my cousin to try and guess what still delicious! Especially for my cousin because she typically doesn't go for the sweet bacon, but this one she said was perfect. I did find out something new and I am so happy I asked our kind and wonderful waitress Karla, "what kind of toast is this?" As she told me she also mentioned that I would not find this in stores, but I was able to purchase a loaf there! Say whatttt?!? So I did because it will be perfect for my sandwiches. Todd does a fantastic job with treating guests and staff like family and friends. All the servers and hosts welcomed you with big smiles and good mornings and striking up a conversation. Came Mon Oct 9 for brunch with my birthday BOGO entree. I really liked my smoked salmon Benedict, baby greens, squash bisque, and Purple Haze juice especially when it is free! Husband enjoyed pumpkin and blueberry pancake short stack with ham and pot of coffee with pumpkin spice creamer. Daughter had ham and gruyere melt with tomato soup and honey crunch iced coffee not too sweet and delicious. Will be back for next family birthday. read more

First Watch Round Rock is great, busy but great. It's especially busy with the after church crowds so just preparing you now. It's worth it though. I always get the AM Superfoods Bowl now because it's so good! The lemon ricotta pancakes are also a good choice. The expensive bacon is not worth it. TL:DR - they lie about wait times to get people to wait for obscenely long. It's a gross practice that's unfair to patrons and workers. Look, it was Sunday brunch, waits were expected. However, this place was so beyond disorganized it was depressing. We are a hour and a half into a "50 minute wait" and just told "20-30 minutes more." The to-go orders are piling up, the people running that operation are squabbling with each other trying to get those orders out the door. This is a big franchise, get an app or at least stop undershooting the wait time to make people queue up? Also just my 2 cents- the hostess decked head to toe in a certain university's gear while she lies about wait times really dilutes the brand for that university synonymous with virtue ethics. Since so many people have seen the review I will update with: we were seated after 2 hours and 10 minutes of our "50 minute" projected wait time, it took probably an 40 minutes to get our food. The kitchen must have had major staffing issues, not anyone's fault...besides whomever was deciding to continue adding to the seating queue. We were leaving within 10 minutes of closing time and there was still a lobby filled with people waiting. I feel for those people. We won't be back, not just the wait - that place clearly has bad worker conditions to cause that much havoc. read more

I gave this place a try... Should have known when I asked the question to our waiter " What's is the the cinnamon chips where in there cinnamon chip pancakes?" He did not have a clue about them. He said that they where cinnamon chips... so I asked is it grated cinnamon. He looked puzzled by my statement. So I ask are the waffles good, nice and crispy on the outside " golden brown. He said yes. So I ordered the waffle and and eggs with bacon, plus sausage. Total with out tip 18.00, WOW. He must have changed me and up charge for a cup that was empty to go for my coffee. What a great experience at this First Watch. Our server was very attentive and efficient making sure everything was taken care of, despite it being the Saturday morning rush. We hardly had to wait for anything. I also appreciated the level of service for handling a table with a small child. The food is always so delicious. The last time we went the restaurant was packed and the food was being delayed due to the waffle machine breaking however the manager assured us they had a new one being hooked up and it would be out shortly. We received a free appetizer of bacon and the waffle was out less than 10 min later. This is our favorite place to eat brunch so we definitely will be back again read more
