side of fruit.

I met a couple friends here for brunch, and was met with a smile from staff as soon as I walked in. We were seated promptly, and offered coffee (that was super delicious). It got busy shortly after we arrived, and our server handled it perfectly. The vibe is casual, and family friendly. I ordered the Tri-Athlete omelette, made with roasted Crimini mushrooms, onions, tomatoes and green chilies. I added jalapenos for a little kick. The omelette was SOOO good, but the mushrooms were the star for me. I got a side of grits and they were pretty good (I lived in South Carolina for years so I am a snob with grits). My friend got million dollar bacon, a biscuit and gravy and The Traditional (eggs, sausage, potatoes....you know...traditional.) :-) My other friend got french toast and a side of fruit..(they gave her KIWI's!). As an extra bonus, this location is right next to Roadies, so I went and played games after an excellent meal, and excellent company. I will be back!

First Watch provides a wholesome atmosphere to get your morning started on the right track. With their diverse menu, you'll want to return to try everything on the list. Their quick service is a bonus, along with their friendly employees who ensure your dining experience goes smoothly. I've visited twice with my partner in the early mornings between 7:30-8am. There was no wait time, there was a lot of seating, and it was clean. The crowd has varied those couple visits, with one morning having barely any customers while the other was much more lively. In both cases however, I noticed there to be an older crowd- with a few tables seated with people that met up for breakfast. Servers had even greeted them in a familiar tone, evidently showing me that these were regular guests and they established a positive relationship with the staff. This is not just a place to eat, but a place to have fun and bond in this calm area of Tucson. Between both visits, I've tried their BLT Benedict, Million Dollar Potatoes, Cornbread, and their summer special Quesadilla & Tres Leches French Toast. All of them were spectacularly done well, but if I had to choose a favorite, I think I would go with their French Toast. It was so soft and sweet, but not too sugary that it numbed my taste buds. The portions were generous for a small eater like myself; I did need to carry some of the food home- not that it's a complaint. In addition to its great service & food, the lot for this restaurant is easy to park in, and its located near several other stores, including a Fry's Food & Drug Supermarket. So, this is a great spot to eat if you're in a hurry and need to get groceries right after a hearty meal. I plan on returning to First Watch, as they are a place that deserves more attention. I am excited to try everything else that they have to offer.

First Watch is always a favorite of mine and I am still working my way through trying everything on their menu. This time around I tried the Morning Meditation and Market Skillet Hash. The food was good and it was good value. It is definitely filling! My husband and I went early on a Sunday morning and it was quiet and empty. Our service could have been better, but still always a good experience.

Went to the grant location this morning for a lil breakfast.. not disappointed! Fast friendly service, clean restaurant , overall great experience! I never have a bad time at this chain.. I've been to other locations in town and enjoy the bright atmosphere. I got a menu staple item and my partner got a seasonal item.. we enjoyed both very much! Definitely a good breakfast spot!

First time at this location, so I decided to try something new also! Food: My food was amazing! This new item is so dam good! Let's just say if you're a Benedict fan Temperature: Perfect! Can't get much better than that :). Atmosphere: Pretty busy as usual. It felt refreshing and nice. Very social and what you expect during breakfast hours. Value: I've mentioned this before, but breakfast tends to be pricey nowadays given the state of where things are locally/nationally. While the value isn't really there, you can expect great quality and good service. Recommendation: I don't really have any outside of our server was awesome and super nice and accommodating. I was with a group of co-workers for a work meeting and he did a great job. I will say however that you should totally try this new benedict dish! It really is that good :).

Great food and service! The food was fresh and delicious with large portions. The coffee is amazing as well!

The food isn't fresh here like other locations. It lacks flavor and presentation. The pancake and toast we got were both very soggy. The carrot and pecan pancake has raisins in it, which wasn't advertised on the menu. The service was decent. Our waiter was fine, didn't come around much. It was decently quiet for a week day in the early afternoon, typical ambience for brunch.

Parma Skillet $13 ... customized ;)

After a hard Saturday morning of yard working the men decided to treat themselves to a couple of skillet breakfasts (meat/eggs atop a layer of potatoes, all served up in a small ceramic skillet). In addition to their regular fare, they had a single flyer/insert that boasted some seasonal specials. Pumpkin pancakes might have taken the day normally but we were famished and needed more than just carbs. There was an omelette with braised short rib that caught my eye too. Our waitress was a delight and so we asked her to ask the chef if he might swap out the usual Italian sausage on the Parma Skillet (since we've had that many times before) with some of that braised short rib. She returned 3-minutes later and gave the thumbs up... soooo glad the chef was cool with that quick substitution. Great/attentive service during the entire meal (waters never ran low). And we loved the ability to "get in line" in advance, via their website too!

As you can see from my timeline almost 20 mins. Not bad but it was just an egg and toast. The drink came out in less than 3 minutes.

We made a reservation well in advance and even then there were limited time options. The atmosphere of the restaurant is slightly upscale while still being cozy. I love all the plants! Our server was very knowledgeable and was able to give several recommendations. We ordered the grilled and chilled beets and the steak skewers for appetizers. The beets and everything that came with them was very fresh! I love anything with pickled onions. The steak appetizer was excellent and my dad could not stop talking about them. Next, I ordered the swordfish special and my dad got the pork chop. Everything was cooked to perfection and flavor was everywhere! For dessert we split the dark chocolate ganache. The ganache was very rich but paired wonderfully with the whipped cream and other flavors. I don't drink, but my dad also loved the cocktails he ordered! If Tito & Pep has been on your list do not hesitate any longer. I very much regret not coming here sooner and I highly recommend giving it a try!

I haven't tried any of their cocktails yet, but some of them sounded amazing - especially the salty snack. Cocktail bars in Tucson, we need more savory and salty cocktails! I will definitely be trying it next time I go. As for the food, it was good. We started with the grilled artichoke with aioli, and that was awesome. The aioli was fresh and slightly garlicky. For my entree, I had the fish and chips, which seems to be one of the most popular items here. The fish was haddock, not your typical cod, and it was juicy with a good fry. No complaints, except that the batter could have been a little thinner. I was disappointed by the fries, though. They were a bit limp, not really crispy at all, and lacked flavor. For a dish called fish and chips, I'd hope the chips would be just as good as the fish, so that was definitely a letdown. The star of the show for me, however, was somehow the COLESLAW - it was amazing! Perfect balance of sweet, tangy, and a bit savory, not too heavy on the mayo, and they use cilantro in it (?!?!) -- which I've never seen done before, but it was actually so good. The herbaceous flavor of the cilantro complimented the coleslaw perfectly. Next time I make coleslaw myself, I'm taking a page out of their book and adding cilantro. I also had an oyster. It was very fresh, briny, and slightly sweet, all of the things you look for in a good oyster. I enjoyed the mignonette and the fresh horseradish that came with it as well. I only ordered one, but it was honestly pretty small. I know that smaller is usually better in the oyster world, but this was about the size of a half dollar. Hopefully they source some slightly bigger ones in the future. Overall, I'm appreciative of the concept and another spot in town trying to serve interesting cocktails, oysters, and entrees, but hoping quality will improve in a few areas. I will be back!

From the moment you walk in, you can tell this isn't your typical sit-down dinner spot. The lighting is cool, there's a live DJ, and yes--it is loud. Like, don't come here expecting an intimate, quiet dinner kind of loud. This is more "laughing over music, people-watching, and soaking up the energy" kind of place. Now let's talk food, because that's where they pleasantly surprised me. They actually have a legit vegan option that doesn't feel like an afterthought (which I always appreciate). I went with the vegan curry and wow--it was delicious. Rich, comforting, and packed with flavor, with a mushroom-forward sauce and sweet potatoes that just worked so well together. We also had the olive oil bread, which was simple but so good, plus almonds and Brussels sprouts that were absolutely worth ordering. Everything felt shareable and fun, which fits the whole vibe of the place. This isn't where I'd go for a quiet date night or a five-star fine dining experience--but that's not what it's trying to be. It's where you go to hang out, eat good food, sip drinks, and just have a really fun time. Would I come back? Definitely.
