Adorable restaurant, accessible by canoe. Very nice outdoor seating, with shade. Large and varied…read moremenu. I had eggs with senfsauce that was very delicious and well priced. But the herring was popular at my table and got rave reviews. They have a large beer selection. Very nice service, even happily split the bill for our large group.

Yes: Cozy, not Kitsch. Tasteful & laid back decor. Romantic, magical feeling at night. Could imagine this as a nice venue for an easy, beautiful rustic-themed country wedding/fun party/ first date/ or just to sit alone at the beautiful bar, drink, eat & dream. Nice western country music playing in the background. As for the food- The pizzas looked good, but we ordered (and I recommend) the Hermann burger menu with a tall, cool & frothy, freshly tapped Hefeweizen. Basically a bacon cheeseburger with BBQ sauce (€7,50), and a side of seasoned fries (€3,00). Ask for more ketchup & mayo in the side because there are lots of fries on the plate. We also ordered the knacker (juicy, spiced, red German sausages), with homemade potato salad in the side. Also delicious. Prices are fair. Hidden gem status.
