The food was not good especially for the price of the meal. Their fish was dry and didn't seem like there was enough seasoning. They provide a slice of lemon but that's not enough to give the fish flavor. Their rice pilaf was just ok. The best thing out of the seafood plate was the zucchini, grilled and seasoned to perfection. I was comparing this place more to California fish grill and California fish grill is way better. They also did not have water. If you wanted a cup of water, you would be drinking faucet/sink water which can be gross. I would not recommend coming back here. read more

Great grilled fish! No servers here, you order at the counter and they will bring your food to the table. They have a nice size outdoor patio and a few indoor seats. Service was very friendly and everything I tried was good. The grilled salmon was perfect. The trout was also tasty. For the sides, I think the fries were better then the rice pilaf. If you enjoy good coleslaw, they had a great one! The dishes averaged about $13-$15 which is pricy for fast food type dining but for the quality and taste, I think it was well worth the money! read more

"We can come back here a lot" - The pickiest eater on the face of the planet. The succulent salmon plate I was devouring almost FELL OUT OF MY MOUTH when I heard him say this! He ordered the fish tacos and the instant they touched his tongue, he said "oh wow, yum!" and wolfed them both down in no time. He got a side of fries (which was more like a massive plate) and coleslaw, and wound up licking his plates clean! Even though he HATES corn tortillas (he forgot to ask if they have flour) he still thought these fish tacos were outstanding. My salmon plate was delicious, but I have certainly had better salmon... That being said, I think next time we go (because obviously we will be back), I will order the salmon steak, with hopes that it's fattier. Also wound up with a TAIL PIECE, and I am not a TAIL PIECE kinda girl, so that put a tiny dent in my appetizing meal. We've been coming here for 22 yrs they never have been this bad before, last 3 times have been awful, I kept giving them a chance because of COVID maybe an off day new cook, I tried to find justifications but tonight I couldn't hold it in LITERALLY, so the sucky part is that we ordered for 3 people $75 3 salmon salads with 2 fish tacos, so all of the salads were OLD like WILTED OLD. I call the restaurant an employee answers I explain we are long long time customers what's going on with our food the last 3 visits, especially this night we all received OLD SALADS plus way to dark crunchy fries, he says you are right about the OLD SALADS I was waiting for your call, I knew that the salads were old and he laughed I couldn't believe it, so I thought they messed up in our order I asked for Cole slaw they gave me their red fish soup so I said whatever I'll try it I'm hungry I'll just eat it, WOW BIG MISTAKE got food poisoning, so when I called to complain he said the reason why we received the cup of soups was because he knew he had given us OLD SALADS!!! I was livid, how do you knowingly give a customer you know very well that in addition always TIPS even when coming to pick up a to-go order or dine in OLD SALAD and was the fish soup OLD as well, and that's why I got sick! We were in town getting some photos taken, and were recommended to try the Fish Grill our since it was nearby, and fairly quick! Its a small place, with little seating on the inside, a patio with ample seating, and a few seats out in the front. The place was not very busy, but there were a few patrons here. Our order came pretty quickly. The items ordered were the grilled ahi salad, grilled fish tacos, and the tuna sandwich. Of all the items, the ahi salad was the best, and I would call it mediocre. The fish was certainly fresh, and grilled right there, but lacked any good flavor. The Greek dressing was flavorful, but on a bed of iceberg lettuce, left something to be desired. The fish tacos were on the bland side, the tuna salad sandwich was chalked full of tuna, and on a really nice warm bun. But again, leaving much to be desired. Overall, this is a clean restaurant serving fresh food, but lacking a bit on the flavor. To make up for it, we went to Milk down the street and got some ice cream and milk shakes! Yummmo! read more

Happened upon this spot the other night for dinner because the wait was too long at a nearby restaurant. I think really the draw of this place is if you're looking for a spot that is Kosher but other than that everything is very just OK. Quick service and pretty standard fish plates. Overall feels like it hasn't totally found its niche yet as far as its branding and while I didn't dislike the food by any means there was nothing that is really jumping to bring me back with so many other standout food places in the area. We were looking for a place to enjoy a piece of grilled salmon and this place did a fantastic job! My fiancé had the grilled sea bass which was quite tasty as well. They grill all their fish and zucchini over mesquite and it makes my mouth water talking about it now! Definitely worth trying the grilled zucchini and Israeli salad as you sides. Came by this place on accident as I was walking down the street with my friend trying to find a place to eat. Ordered the salmon sandwich with cole slaw and fries, costed about $10 total. We saw them grilling skewers -- which looked exotic at the moment but is basically sushi on a stick I think. The food was delicious. The sandwich had nice portions of salmon and the sauce complimented it quite nicely. The coleslaw wasn't bad either. Something about their sauces ... Fries were good. They looked more like the home-made, healthy version in comparison to your average fast food restaurants. I'd definitely come here again and try everything else. Healthy and delicious! I was in the mood for fried fish, so my boyfriend and I figured we would give this place a try. The place always smells great when I drive by, so I figured why not.. We were greeted by a very friendly/helpful staff member, which was a great start. I ordered fish and chips and my boyfriend ordered the salmon and baked potato. The fish and chips did not have any taste whatsoever! I tried adding salt & pepper, but it was still bland. I then tried tartar sauce, but it still was bland. I finally tried ketchup and still nothing! Just a crunchy piece of batter. We could have bought a box of Gordon fish sticks and saved a lot of money. My fries tasted like cardboard and the coleslaw was just ok after I seasoned it. My boyfriend thought his salmon was ok, but not worth the price and he had to exchange his baked potato because it had a lot of black spots. I really wanted to love this place, but I couldn't eat here again without bringing a few seasonings from home with me, which should never be warranted. My hands got cramp chasing those little blighters around my plate trying to spear them! If it wasn't for the people around me I might have thrown the plastic cutlery aside and used my fingers! Oh, and waaaay too much salt to be healthy. Let me put my own salt on, please! The fish itself was ok - breadcrumbed which was a surprise. I'd read about the tartare sauce which was too overpowering for me delicate palate ;) so I just stuck with the lemon juice. What this place has which *is* special is the iced-tea. The fragrant beverage was the best thing about my first visit to Fish Grill. The rest was like H.Salt Fish and Chips and not as good as Ye Olde Kings Head. Worst food in my entire life. Worst service. No concept of basic flavoring. Baked potato burnt to crisp you had to snap it , couldn't eat burned parts. Rice and flour taste old. Hard food to digest. "Chowder" is watered 70% water to tomato clump soup with slivers of salmon. 3 inch tacos with watered down mayo. Worst tacos I've ever had. Bad attempt at basic food. Rice a roni beats this rice. "Teriyaki" sauce they try to add is beyond words, some kind of paprika with vinegar concoction- abomination to word teriyaki. Worst $28 spent for the 3in tacos, burned potato & clump tomato soup with slivers. How is this place even alive? Major help needed if the people shall keep jobs!! I would have much enjoyed a can of Spaghettios. I'm embarrassed to have step foot in this restaurant and even invested a meal here. Prayers for the workers omg!!!!
