Mindy clearly communicated when she was coming and made sure to bring the correct tools with her, she had us walk through our space with her and point out all of the things we needed cleaned... and then she delivered! Totally knocked it out of the park. They quoted me a price range that should cover the variance of clean levels needed. I had set a time and had to reschedule for the next day giving more than 24 hours notice. They arrive to the job call me and before even talking to me further they send the carpet cleaning crew away, change the range from a high of 400 to 700 and say the date that was set was to be rescheduled. I had tenants arriving that evening. I wanted a nice clean home for them. My call got disconnected and tried calling back. I texted inquiring if they didn't want to do the job can they please let me know if they put the lock box keys back. No response. A professional approach would have been calling and telling me it's a bigger job than we thought, we can still do everything today but the price is going to be higher, not just cancel the crews completing the job before contacting me and saying we aren't going to follow through with your appointment reschedule. I had to pry a family friend away from a Father's Day celebration because I myself was with my Father and I was deploying in a few days and hadn't seen him for years. Horrible experience. It's okay to charge more, but, don't just cancel the whole job, charge more then say reschedule.

I've used Angie's list to look for contractors and it's been an absolute disappointment in every way. So, since I'm an Elite Yelper, I decided to give my own platform a try to see what I could come up with. I went to the YELP page and clicked on the "Projects" tab. I put my needs in a quote request and within 3 hours, I had my first two quotes. The third company took two days to get back to me, so needless to say, I struck that one off the list. Cezar & Paula Chavez are a husband/wife team. They own All-Shine Window Cleaning. They gave me a quote that was comparable to the other business that gave me a quote, but this business was different. They were enthusiastic, explained their services and what to expect, then gave me a quote and explained everything that I could expect. They are also independently owned which gave me an opportunity to give back to the community where I live. They arrived on the day of the appointment at 9:00 am: right on time. I am really a stickler on this one. I met Cezar and then walked him through the house showing which windows needed to be cleaned. Then, he and his wife, Paula, worked their magic. They were so meticulous. Paula did the inside of the windows, including the sills and Cezar did the outside. They are a great team. I can't tell you how pleased I was with their work ethic and finished job. I'll definitely use them again, but this time, I won't wait so long between window cleanings.
