Tonight's specials include the Stuffed Rockfish and Crab Cake & Broiled Scallops! They were absolutely mouthwatering! The service was amazing as always. They always make you feel at home here. The restaurant was incredibly clean. 5 Stars, again!

Looking at Yelp for locations that I haven't been to yet and I happened upon this one. It has some of my favorites from other places, so I tried out the crab pretzel; not my favorite flavor and style but it was different and it had some qualities that others did not. Acoustics weren't the best for our location but the atmosphere was very nice with multiple tv's on multiple channels and a nice touch for ascetics.

Meh. So-so place. Was looking for a place that served surf n turf and since the headline said "steak and fish" thought this would work. Technically there are only like 2 steak options on the entire 3-4 page oversized menu. GPS is taking you to the right place: it's inside a bowling alley. But separated from the bowlers by glass windows/door. Decor is old, and the place could use some tender loving care: large hole in the ceiling above diners, surely cannot be up to code Decent crowd for a Friday nite we still didn't have to wait to be seated at 7ish. And very casual (recall bowling alley) Yelp said the blackened salmon was good, but saw flounder on the menu and couldn't resist Waitress started off good, giving us time to look over our menu and bringing our drinks. We ordered the Cajun flounder w side mashed potatoes and Caesar salad, and ribeye and shrimp w regular salad and broccoli Salads were decent and the mashed potatoes may or may not have been from scratch. Cajun flounder was "just ok". It seemed broiled w some Cajun seasoning. Nothing overly special. It was "borderline not good", but not really bad": kinda hard to describe. Two large pieces, I ate one, and my sides and was full My friend wasn't thrilled with his steak. For it to be medium rare it was pretty tough (I tasted and agreed) and he had to fight to get his shrimp free of their shells And alas. We basically never saw our waitress again. Well, we saw her, just not at our table. And the other waiter and waitresses standing around didn't seem to care that she was either busy or that we were just being ignored. I actually got up, walked to a young male waiter and asked for to-go containers. He said "of course". But instead of getting them he went to another table and removed silverware. We connected eyes and I thought he'd head to the containers, but instead he went in the other direction and did something totally different. By the third time, and me waving to get the attention of two waitresses chatting, ours finally returned to ask if we were finished. Yeah. We were. Needless to say I was unimpressed. A place that touts steak and fish should have more than 2 steak options, while offering a plethora of seafood options. And the waitstaff should consider helping one another out. Finally, manager may want to ck the code: exposed ceiling with missing tiles is just asking for something to fall/crawl through and drop on an unsuspecting patron

This restaurant is attached to local bowling. Don't let the dated decor fool you - Lots of variety, large portions and good prices. I chose the Hot Roast Beef with gravy and french fries. Huge portion, hot, yummy. Highly recommend!

He ordered the shrimp pasta which he has stated is his favorite and has ordered it each time we come. I have ordered the stuffed flounder, the Mac and cheese, and a salad and I was not disappointed. There is plenty of booth seats, bar seating, high top seating and even some outside seating. It can get a bit loud inside when they are busy. Happy hour everyday day of the week parking is easy attentive and friendly staff I noticed a few regulars came in and they were remembered. Idk it felt like a friendly, familiar atmosphere because of that.. if that makes sense? lol The complementary hush puppies (no dipping sauce, just something drizzled) and the coconut shrimp were my favorites. The Asian salad dressing made it a little less enjoyable for me, but one of the managers said that many people love it (I asked what was in the sauce, I didn't share my feedback) ‍ btw: the rice noodles in it are the fried/crunchy vermicelli type of noodles. I also ordered two of the blueberry lemon drops which were sweet and amaazing!

No frills, just good food. The young ladies working the counter are always really nice too. I was introduced to Richard's during covid and they quickly became one of my favorites for a good fish sandwich. I typically go with the small Icedock Sandwich meal because the original size with 2 pieces of fish is huge, but great for the price. American cheese, tartar sauce, a well seasoned piece of fried fish, and a soft roll... I'm sold! And the piping hot fries are some of the best. As a french fanatic, I know. I recently tried their Half & Half soup (half crab soup, half cream of crab) and it was delicious. Good chunks of tender crab meat and that creamy, tomatoe soup base blend was quite tasty. Although I'm partial to Richard's fish sandwich, I'm going to give some other menu items a try next time, because I'm sure it will be well worth it.

All I did was a simple Google search and, of course, saw an amazing Yelp review. Now that I stumbled across this place, I knew it was a good seafood spot to grab some food from. For one, they had one building, but they purchased another building that was right next to it just for more parking. Also, there was a mirror on the wall that said they catch the fish fresh themselves from the boat. Now, of course, me having such great humor, I asked the staff, "Do you know what boat stands for?" And of course, they didn't. I said, "Bust out another thousand." That's how I know they were making good money and selling good food, because that boat costs money--and of course, you can't forget the parking lot that they bought just for more parking! Now, I live about two hours away from this spot, and I will not hesitate to fill up my car with some amazing gasoline since I sold my Tesla due to a bunch of system malfunctions, but I'm always gonna be ready to hit the road. Go down here, get an amazing crab cake which was delicious. The fries were so crispy, it was great. The fish of the day was catfish, and man, I tell you, it did have me purring with delight and satisfaction. The customer service was great, although they did not have a bathroom, but that's pretty normal because it is a takeout spot. -- B L E E AKA Branden-Lee Butler

Yesterday was pit beef day but an outside sign "Best Corned Beef in Harford County" (paraphrased) tantalized me. I followed my buddy's lead and ordered the Wargo's Reuben. Wargo's, I understand, sources from a butcher in PA and not the kosher houses near Baltimore. The accompanying potato chips and pickle slices made the Sammy more enjoyable. Service friendly and top notch. Prices on the menu are reasonable and competitive. Atmosphere warm and inviting. For me at least, Wargo's is worth the 25 mile ride. Decided to have a little "celebration" for a successful year end at our business. The good - attentive service. Called ahead and they held a table for 15 min until we arrived. Friday and it was packed. Cocktails good. Food, I've got some concerns. Appetizers - ordered cheesesteak eggrolls and octopus. Eggrolls were excellent. Octopus thought, I'm used to the presentation at Bacco's so I could do without it being cut into tiny pieces and buried in sauce. Salad - shared the kale salad. Great flavor but the ( wife's pet peeve when I serve it ), the kale was in very large chunks, could use a bit more chopping. Main Course - wife had stroganoff and I had the NY strip. I don't know what it is about Harford County but it's the last time I'll try to get a proper NY strip here. I should have known when it was only $52 on the menu. Steak & Main advertises "best steaks around" and serves the same 1/2" thin cut slice that looks like it came from Ponderosa but they charge $65 which is a ripoff. I like my steak rare and with a steak this thin, it's impossible but at least they were close. Again, stuff all over the top of the meat, a bit too much. Stroganoff - solid!! Dessert- Bananas Foster / solid!! My only gripe is the steak. We will be back for sure but I'm done trying to get one out and will just continue getting a nice cut from a butcher and treating myself at home.
