Fitness for Everybody's exclusively devoted to Power Plate sessions. Each class runs for about 20 minutes and has a maximum of four people. My first time there, there were two others - clearly regulars - and the lovely personal trainer, Suzy, took us through the various exercises, tailoring the intensity of each exercise to the ability of each of the class.
Now, having only gone for one session thus far, I can't say for certain if it works. I can say that I'm not exactly unfit, and that having to do exercises on a vibrating plate was definitely more intense than I expected. I ached quite a far bit the next day, and even more the day after!
I don't like the gym. Not one bit. I'm much more of a cardio person, preferring to dance or box or what not. But I'm seriously considering taking this up on a regular basis in the hopes that I'll finally be able to make my problem areas less... well... problematic! read more
