The smallest of the squares in Georgian Dublin Georgian dating from 1825. It's the only square left where the garden is owned by the square's residents and access can only be gained with a key. That is except on a Thursday when the lovely people of "Irish Village Markets" have food stalls for lunch time. There isn't a whole lot in the park except a very cute little summer house.
The houses are the park are beautiful with the colored doors. Keep an eye out for the metal coal-hole covers on the pavements outside each house. This is where the coal would have been delivered to each house - some are very ornate. read more
