Not all that glitters is gold. Pretty fitting description of this place really, the first impression is amazing! The design & look is lovely, the furniture gives it a nice upper-end-of-the-bar flair and the menu sounds delicious and diverse. But then, the crash: Neither bun, patty or fries were fresh & home made... If I want frozen stuff, I can buy it myself thank you very much. So much for "the best burger in town" The "home made ice tea" was the biggest joke though, putting Monin syrup & soda water in a glass does not make it home made guys! It's always sad when a place looks amazing and then the food is a let down... mediocre burgers (there is no reason to use precooked patties nowadays) and crappy ice-tea will surely not help you survive in this market! My honest opinion? These guys need to throw away the menu and start over - the place looks great, stop saving (very little) cash on frozen crap! read more

Alright, I was a little uneasy from what I read but I decided to see if the owner made some changes since those reviews and I believe they did! First of all I gotta say the waiting staff is very friendly and the atmosphere is absolutely great. The restaurant is decorated with multiple low lumen lamps that give off a kind of retro vibe while the restaurant itself has nicely toned walls and colours to match with the lamps. The food was very good! The establishment first brought over a selection of homemade sauces to use on the burger that I ordered (Even though I used em for the fries, but sauces are sauces!) and gave an explanation of all of them. Shortly afterward the meal was completed and the burger was amazingly stacked, looking at it made me feel like I was looking at one of those burger commercials! My meal consisted of a cheeseburger with fries using a normal wheat bun. Now on to the taste: It was simply great! The entire burger and its content mixed together very well and produced a variety of flavours featuring fresh veggies and a juicy meat patty in the middle covered with a moderate slice of cheese giving it all a wonderful orchestra of flavours that just sat perfectly! The bun was also lightly toasted which gave it a nice warm and soft feel with a thin crispy layer. It was not pre-frozen ingredients like previous reviews stated, unless I can't tell the difference since I haven't eaten a frozen meal in quite some time! Now the small issues I got with the place: lack of information! I feel like the homemade sauces should have some labelling on them, even if its just a small label or written on the bottle with a marker because I had a hard time remembering all 4 when the waiter quickly explained them all to me. Another problem I found was the menu did not state what ingredients came on the burger, simply stating by my meal for example "Meat, Cheese", Now I can't really start much with that, but I think including at the top of the menu "Every burger contains onions, pickles, etc. etc." would be very helpful in knowing what I'll be getting. All in all the taste during my visit was amazing, and the portion sizes perfect for me which made me full to a good point while the prices aren't astronomical with approximately 15€ per person including drink. Atmosphere and staff was pleasant and I will be visiting this place when I'm close by and I want a good burger! read more

Amazing, generous, friendly breakfast. A pleasant way to start your day. Breads served warm from local bakery with bio certification. Staying at the hotel gave us breakfast included, but we would recommend to anyone. Service staff is excellent and multilingual. Lunch and dinner are busy... also best burgers and fries in town with drinks. Americans can get ice in their drinks too, just ask! Above and beyond service always deserves a tip, and any time you can't order in the local language you should tip too. We ate here often as our picky kids all found something. read more

Made a reservation here on Christmas for breakfast/lunch. It really hit the spot. I had a bacon burger and waffle fries. I think the patty might have been frozen before cooked. I'm pretty sure it was. But honestly it was really good. Maybe I was just starving. My partner had bacon,eggs and fruit. All of it was really good. Their bread basket with butter and jam was super tasty too. The service was great as well. I would eat here again. read more

I got the bacon cheeseburger with a fried egg on top and it was so delicious. I would recommend the burgers here and they also do offer a variety of different flavors for drinks. We also ordered the elephant bay peach tea that came in a bottle and was refreshingly good. They speak really good English and are quick. read more

Good place for breakfast. We went twice the four days we were in Nuremberg. We were seated right away despite just walking in. Prices were reasonable, service friendly and English spoken (also English menus). Not a huge breakfast menu but it has the basics. Recommended. read more

I went there for breakfast with a friend. Staff was very friendly, but somehow we had two different waiters. It might be their system to help each other, but it seemed confusing. You have couple different breakfast options to choose from and you can also add something extra. Prices are a little bit high for a non buffet breakfast, but they claim to use all organic ingredients. I had scrambled eggs with tomato and feta cheese and ordered vegan spread on the side. To drink a refreshing homemade lemonade sour apple and wild hibiscus. Delicious!!! It was soooo freaking good! My friend had the watermelon strawberry lemonade and the continental breakfast with a fruit salad. The fruits were very fresh. Our breakfast was good. I had three different vegan spreads and they were all good. Perfect consistency. The glass cups they keep them in are sealed and I had a hard time opening them. One even broke in my hands, which could have cut me. I understand they try to keep it fresh, but it seems a little dangerous. read more
