Been here several times, usually ok, but yesterday was not a good experience. Peanuts were VERY substandard, small and kinda stale. Burger was ok, but music was much TOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO LOUD, making it difficult to converse with friends. Asked to have the volume turned down a bit, but could not detect any change. Very annoying. A manager used to visit the tables and ask if everything was ok. Not any more. Really, 5 Guys? Won't be back for a while. read more

Bad service and burgers today. Seems the the crew wanted to screw off and not worry about the food. Usually get a decent burger, but today they put whatever they wanted to on it and then let them sit while they visited with friends. But when I go into a five guys I expect a certain atmosphere where the cashier and the cook are yelling back and forth and bantering. Been here a few times and this location just hasn't provided it. I used to live in Northern Virginia, the home of Five guys, and have even been to the original location. There's something about walking into a five guys that makes you feel like you are back on the east coast no matter where you really are. Even the one in Fresno California achieved this. Something about the nonchalant, I'm good at my job, I know it, and I enjoy that makes the trips in worth while. It's like they take pride in what they do, and WANT to be there. Something about the people who work at this location however doesn't give off that vibe. I think it might just be because of the people in this area though. I'm beginning to notice that unless the place of business you visit is a one off, unique kind of business, mom and pop place, that people just don't take pride in what they do. Almost like they don't appreciate that they even have a job. The food is still good, and I still come in here, but it's not the same treat it is else where. If you ever get to travel I suggest eating at a five guys in some other state and you might get to know what I'm talking about. read more

Friendly people. Yummy food. Big portions. It isn't "fast food." This is because everything is fresh and made to order. They put down a raw patty and cook the fresh french fries for each order. It's well worth the few minute wait and the couple extra dollars. read more

Seriously love Five Guys however tonight after placing our order they called our number but another customer took the food. After waiting around I asked if our number had been called and the worker said no not yet. Sat back down five minutes later another staff member asked if they could see my receipt. My Jr. Bacon Burger was quite good, especially for a fast-food joint. I suggest that if you like ketchup on your burgers, get it on the side. I ordered mine with the ketchup, which practically drowned the burger. One complaint--the music was SO loud. Next time, I will get my food to go. read more

CRAZY expensive for burgers and fries that are good but not amazing. For similar prices, you can have much better service and food at Red Robin which is right down the road from Five Guys. The whole time I was eating at Five Guys I was wishing we'd gone to Red Robin instead. Or even more than that, I wish there were an In n' Out here!!! In n' Out is WAY cheaper and tastes a million times better than Five Guys. I won't be eating at Five Guys again, it just isn't worth the $. read more

Well, this may be a different hamburger eatery, but a burger is a burger is a burger; and $55.00 for four burgers and two drinks seems pretty stiff. Add a soft soggy bun and it just isn't worth it. Too bad Washington doesn't have In-N-Out. read more

Extremely disappointed with the service my wife and I received at this location this evening. Our number was not called out and after 20 minutes, I went up to ask about it. Our food was given to someone else. We recalled about 10 minutes earlier when the young woman handed out an order without calling it out. At this point, my wife and I were not only hungry, but upset. They remade our order, but they were flippant about it, like it was our fault. Then, the people who took our food were given their original order in addition to our food. When I finally got ours, I brought up that it wasn't right that the pair got double food, that our order hadn't been called out and that we had been waiting 30 minutes for our food. The young woman was defensive and said she did call out our order which was a lie because we saw her hand our food out without saying anything! The shift lead said nothing. This was terrible service, coming from a food and beverage background I know how the situation should have been handled. Sadly, we will not returning to this location. There are other places we can go that will treat us better. read more

This is a good burger shop. The food seems more real than other burger places -- real toppings... The fries are excellent. It is a fun place to eat. I think this is the best of the fast food burger places. read more

To start, the burgers do taste good, but so does every burger joint in the valley, you're just paying 3 times the amount here, and have to pay extra for fries, they don't come with the burger like every other burger joint in the valley. But the reason why I don't eat here is because of workers, first off, the employees are quite young, given over 40 hours a week, working till close to midnight getting paid jack an hour, and don't worry, if you work there for 2 years you'll get a raise of 30 cents. Most employees are Hispanic and some cant even speak English that well, and they mess up your order quite often, the environment is nowhere near where it used to be, it used to be fun, middle aged guys used to interact with customers better even when they are eating, now it's just order food, wait an hour to get it, and eat in a place that just reeks in that oil smell, it's pretty gross. This is why it gets 1 star, this place needs serious help. read more

I honestly don't have a single complaint! I think this is a very we'll established restaurant , and has very good food. It's not too pricey for how good the food is. The burgers are juicy and have very fresh ingredients and the fries are to die for! Not to mention the extra scoop on top, makes a great meal!! read more

So I thought I would try this restaurant as I was craving a burger. the pricing was outrageous.$7.37 for a cheese burger....I thought I was at Red Robin. The service was below par. the guy cooking burger patties took the phone to the back room to take a call.The burger was extremely greasy, not juicy but greasy, the bun was soggy from the grease and falling apart.Their only saving grace was the fries....very good. Overall I would never return to this place. Burger King would be more satisfying. read more

I eat at this place all the time, but the crew working tonight (11/14) were rude, and messed up my order twice. I paid twice, once for a bad burger, then again for the same burger, that they still managed to mess up. When I finally got the right burger, it was sloppy, and seemingly purposely messy, with bad looking bacon, and cold buns (and bbq sauce everywhere.) The employees were rude, and never once apologized. I've worked fast food, and this is not how it is done. Will not return. read more

Five Guys is in my top 5 burger joints to eat at. First time I went there was with my visiting older brother. We had heard Dori on the radio talking about them, and knew there was a Five Guys that had just opened one up here so we decided after an exhausting day of hiking to give it a shot. I had a cheeseburger with mushrooms my brother had a double hamburger. The taste was unreal! The only thing that stopped us from going back and getting another one was the peanuts we had eaten while waiting, the abundance of french fries that were packed in the bag they gave us and the price. Staff knows what customer service is and applies it well. The cheese burgers are mouth watering, juicy, and delicious. My only detraction is the cost. Last time I was there I managed to beat the evening rush sometimes it gets pretty packed in there. Great burgers and great staff equals I'll be there this Friday for lunch. read more
