I don't actually go to Five Guys in America, admittedly, because it's a bit on the pricey side and not much in the way of vegetarian options. I will say, however, that you're paying for quality, at least. What I love most about the restaurant's existence in Frankfurt is the good old US standard free soft drink refills that are so hard to find elsewhere in Germany/Europe. As someone who drinks a ton while dining out (usually water, not soda), it's a relief to know there's at least one place I can go where I don't have to decide between stressing my wallet or going thirsty. Ok so I decided to get a burger at 5 Guys in Germany. Cheeseburger with fries and a milkshake for 25€. The burger was ok, the fries tasted like nothing and the price is just way out of line. Just like in the US! When i heard that there was a Five Guys in Frankfurt i thought it wasnt going to be the same. We came and ordered a little cheeseburger, a bacon cheeseburger, fries and a drink. Came in the same greasy paperbag and they dumped a bunch more fries into it. Burgers came out quick even though there was a huge line and they tasted awesome! They even have the coke machines that you can create your own flavors. Staff also speak english and other languages. Only bad part is trying to find parking as its in the walking area. Worth coming if you crave a fat juicy American burger! read more

Lines are very long but once you order, use the restroom, grab your drink, your order is all ready after a few minutes. Overall it took about 30 minutes to get my food from start to finish for a very busy Saturday afternoon lunch rush. However, its probably always that packed. They seem to be doing well and at least offer free peanuts to eat while you wait. Plenty of seating, booths, chairs, etc for large groups of people. No street parking close by but there is the The Zeil parking garage which is in a 10 minute walking distance through the mall. Would I go back? Only for the fries. The burger was severely lacking for 10€! For a regular size bacon cheeseburger, little fries and a drink, it was 17€! Too expensive in my opinion. I will only get the fries next time. read more

Good example of American burger ingenuity crossing the pond and landing in Europe. It's located in a good area with plenty of parking garages, so you shouldn't have an issue parking. However the place is quiet Ioud so do not bring your Tinder date here or you'll be screaming at each other. I ordered the Bacon Cheeseburger with small fries and a beer which came up to 16€, compared to typical burger places in the area, the price is a bit high but you also have to realize that the toppings on the burger are free and if you want a soda, they have free refills (very rare in Germany).The burger came out a bit messy but still good. But for 10€ for a burger I wish they were a bit bigger. Overall, I think the place is ok and would probably come again. read more

We heared a lot about "Five Guys" and were really exciting to visit this "restaurant". As we arrived there, it was really crowded. So we waited till we get to the counter and ordered our burgers. First the positive... you can choose, which toppings you want and most of them are for free. The staff was also very very friendly and nice to us. We got to the next counter and waited for our burgers and fries and it didn´t take very long. We got some bag with our burgers and felt a little bit like being in McDonalds. And that´s the problem of "Five Guys". They try to be better, but they are only one "modern" version of McDonalds. The burger was average, but the fries were delicious. You also can get as many drinks as you want and you can always choose some other kind of coke with different tastes. For 2 burgers, 1 package of fries and 2 drinks, we had to pay 30 €. For the quality we got, definitely too expensive. Next time, we definitely will go back to a "normal" restaurant to eat burgers. read more

They let us keep the other burger, which is cool since they are 10€. My only complaint is the pricing. I can't imagine why a burger should cost €10. Normally, I'm a fan of five guys. It's my alternate to in & out when I'm not home. But it also doesn't normally cost almost 50 bucks between me and my husband lol. The line was out the door and it took about 15 mins to order. The service was great and the employees were really nice. It was pretty busy, so seating was difficult. But parking is nearby so that was convenient. They also have free refills (AND ICE!!!) which I haven't seen in Germany. All things considered, it you're missing a taste of home, this will help.
