When I ordered my meal I noticed there was an employee whose mouth was partly showing and his nose was completely exposed!! I asked the cashier if I could speak to the manager. The shift manager yelled from his station and I asked him to have the employee cover his mouth and nose. His response from his station was that the masks fall down (so get a new mask that fits properly) and they cannot fix it because they would have to change their gloves.....so change your gloves simple right?! So they did nothing and I stated that employee cannot make my food. In addition I noticed as I was picking up my food from the shift manager, he had on a mask that has a vent. This type of mask only protects the person wearing it not the people around them. I manage an outpatient medical facility and I'm appalled at how irresponsible this company is! I'm quite disgusted with the response I received ..... aren't your coworkers and your patrons health of the upmost importance? I threw my food away! If I could give zero stars to this Five Guys establishment then I would. Tonight my best friend and I went to Five Guys for takeout. $ 70 plus a tip was spent on 4 burgers and 3 orders a fries. One sandwich was a BLT and the other 3 sandwiches were bacon burgers. Two of the sandwiches were completely wrong and without bacon. If it was any cheap burger spot then we would have just ate the burgers. But, anyone who knows Five Guys knows how pricey it is. So my friend called to explain our wrong order. They asked what day we would like to pick up the burgers?? Um how about NOW since we just ordered food from you. $70 worth of food was spent, so yes we're going to drive out and get our correct order!! So we drove 30 minutes back to Five Guys to pick up our correct order. When we arrive to Five Guys our order is in a bag waiting. My friend asked for a fresh order of fries since our original fries that we ordered were now cold due to coming back out to Five Guys. The staff said they were out of fries (which was a lie because there was fries cooking right behind him) and he said "I'm not giving you fries". $70 plus a tip was spent on this food and the tip alone would have covered the fries. I didn't want to start a confrontation but that is really weak from Five Guys. I won't be going back to this establishment. I prefer Melt anyway. This was one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever witnessed. read more

Went with a guest in late December, prime dinner time. Haven't been in a while. Little hamburger no longer covers the bun for $5.71 - well that is disappointing. Fries were not fully cooked. Guest got bacon burger and was impressed, so that is good. When we arrived there were 3 tables open. All 3 tables were dirty (not wiped). There was a person cleaning; although focusing on sweeping under the tables where we were all eating. Shouldn't he be focusing on wiping tables, surfaces - rather then kicking up dust while we are eating? By the way, the floor did not look dirty or have debris. This is one of my "Go To" places for a great burger. Love the atmosphere, music and the employees are always friendly and welcoming. Burgers are consistently good with plenty of free toppings! Lettuce, Pickles, Tomatoes, Gilled Onions, Jalapeno Peppers and Hot Sauce are the toppings of choice on my Bacon Cheeseburger. And free peanuts to enjoy before your meal arrives or with it - nice touch! I've yet to stop into a Five Guys that I haven't enjoyed, but really enjoy this location. read more

My husband and i went to this location last friday around 1130am for lunch. I can honestly say it was the best experience i have ever had at a "counter order" restaurant. The staff was beyond friendly and gave off a generally happy vibe. They were all happy to be working together it seemed and it continued into the quality and efficiency of their work. Our order was made perfectly and quickly. I am 6 months pregnant and the male staff member working took the time to congratulate my husband and I when he delivered our food to us. It is little personal interactions like that, that take a regular burger place and make it worth coming back. read more

I had been craving a 5 guys burger and finally got the chance to go... I ordered my burger and while waiting saw the guy behind the stainless steel counter top running his gloved hands along the count top and then putting my burger together... sorry, that's gross... I had them make me another burger (it is an 11$ burger after all). The manager was apologetic and very understanding, however the guy that initially made my burger said; "the counter top is clean"... really??, then why are you wearing gloves? And - don't argue with the customer - maybe some additional training is in order. I won't be going back; there are too many other options. read more

This five guys got some learning to do, been there twice and both times my bacon burger is too dry compared to the ashburn location. Im thinking they're flattening the burgers to up the cook time, but in reality that's just pushing all the flavor juices out the burger. And they once didnt even put bacon on my burger! Best fast, yet fresh and tasty burgers in town. I've been going to Five Guys since the original location in Arlington since 1989. Despite their franchise expansion, doesn't matter which location I visit, the burgers and fries are consistently excellent. This Leesburg location also has great milk shakes. Tried to give them another chance. It's the first time I've been back since and, once again, they failed. Placed an online order this time and just got home and the order was incorrect. How you can mess up the toppings on an online order for one burger at 11AM is beyond me. I give Five Guys three stars because the food is ok. My problem is waste of food with this company. When I order a small fry I don't need two pounds of fries poured on top. No one I know can eat this many fries! It's such a shame that each time I order and ask that they don't put all the extra fries in the bag they do it anyway. I literally have to throw away at least a pound of fries each time. It would seem to me that instead of wasting this food that Five Guys would listen to the customer and give what's asked. A lot of people in this country are starving and we constantly waste by giving more than needed serving sizes. No wonder we are the most obese country in the world. The ones who can just stuff their faces until it's all gone. Five Guys I'm not one of those people! Please for the love of god stop giving people more than they can eat. Five Guys is a great place to go for a burger and fries. We went on New Year's Eve, and they still were making food/open. I enjoy their food and it's always warm and tasty. My friends and I love how they have free peanuts and you can just dump them on the ground. Most of the time the staff cleans it up immediately after someone leaves. It's a very nice restaurant and the cashier was very friendly and she tried to guess our orders. :) read more
