Five Star Cabinet Refacing I was referred to Rick at Five Star, from the minute he showed up at my home to discuss my kitchen, I just had a feeling he was who I wanted to do the work. I still had two other company's scheduled to discuss the work, one of them never showed after a few reschedules and the other was hard sell wanting to do a complete make over when I only wanted my Cabinets refaced. But they weren't the reason I chose to go with Five Star, Rick was. From our first meeting he was a genuine gentleman, listened to what I was wanting, gave me a few suggestions, which I am very thankful for and chose to do, but never any pressure sales. He took all the measurements, details and got every thing ordered, that is once I finally made up my mind, which he was very patient with my ever changing decisions. When I met Kelly he too from the beginning was a gentleman, very patient with my never ending questions. He was very meticulous in his work, he took the extra steps to make sure things were done the proper way. He explained what he was doing as he went along, including me in the process of each step. At the end of each day Kelly had the work area all cleaned up and I was able to use my kitchen if I needed. After the prepping and facing was done both Rick and Kelly worked together on installing the cabinet doors and drawers, they knew just what the other one needed working smoothly together. Our 1950's kitchen was made new and modern by Rick and Kelly of Five Star cabinet refacing, for half the price of replacing the cabinets. They have a huge selection of colors and styles to choose from, and they were able to match our plans exactly. We love the all-new drawers and soft-closing doors, and the handles and hardware are beautiful. They also custom-built cabinets for the area near the fridge, and installed the microwave above the stove. It's obvious that Rick and Kelly take pride in their work. They put protection on the floors and covered the openings around the kitchen to avoid getting dust into the rest of the house. The cabinets are plumb and level, and the fit and finish are excellent. Kelly and Rick did a great job for us. We had an old island refacing job from a different company that was getting shabby -- the paint was chipped and the veneer was peeling off in spots. (Note to self: painted cabinets are not as durable as varnished cabinets.) The refaced island cabinets look great. The work was careful and professional. A totally new kitchen in Five days! I could hardly believe it! After working with another big box store for 5 months, they refunded my hefty payment in full when they failed to produce any paperwork saying my cabinets were ever ordered. Rick, from 5 Star, came to my House, efficiently measured and quoted, ordered a sample door, and two months after placing my order, I HAVE A NEW KITCHEN! He and Kelly show up promptly every morning at 9 and leave at 5, leaving us time to make and eat breakfast, as well as prepare dinner. What a pleasure they are to have in my house.
