I opened a checking account on 29 February 2024 and was told I would receive checks with 7-10…read morebusiness days. I live 45 miles away. I waited until 21 March 2024 to call about the checks. I was told they were NEVER ordered. She said she was ordering them on same date and today is 31 March 2024 and no checks. On 1 April 2024 I am going to close accounts because the one who opened the account told the branch manager that I did not ask for checks. Both were caucasians. Who opens a checking account and don't need checks and why was I told I would receive checks in 7-10 business days and put my money in the share account when I said I stated what amount I wanted in the share account and the difference in the checking. What was I waiting for if not for checks. They are NOT honest at all. Done, done, Bad customer service in branch and on the phone.

I understand that but I didn't get a phone call, email, text...nothing from anyone asking to reschedule or if someone else could help me. I drove 3 hours (round trip) because this office was the closest one to me. Another person could've helped me but my gut was telling me to leave. I honestly felt that they didn't care about doing business with me & in my opinion, they weren't very professional. I will be closing my accounts & taking my business elsewhere.
