He also met my need to get the work done as soon as possible. In fact, after telling me that there was a two-month waiting list, once I approved the estimate, they showed up to begin the job just two days later. Not sure how that happened, but I'm not complaining. Steven, the job foreman, was very professional and highly skilled, notwithstanding his youth. Why do people I meet keep getting younger? He is a perfectionist, a virtue which you rarely encounter with home contractors. He even helped guide me with the color selection. I threw him a few curve balls during the job, and he did everything I asked him to do with a smile. He and his crew were on time every day, and were all polite, neat, and hard-working. They are acrobats on high ladders, and barely dripped a drop of paint where it didn't belong. The finished job looks great, and exceeded my expectations. It is also worth mentioning that Wilber's guarantees the durability of the paint job for three years. All the others who bid offered a two year guarantee. I can't speak to their other services, but I would hire Wilber's again for a major painting project, and recommend them.

He was there every step of the way in our painting project, without being asked and typically came in the morning before the crew to inspect the previous day's work and then go over it when they came. Fabian managed the work on a day to day and was so thorough, going over things as to make sure we were happy (even came by afterwards to touch up on things!). We are so glad that he led our project. As for our project, we had built in cabinets in our living room area which they meticulously unscrewed, sanded, painted with 3 coats, and installed back. We also had our stairwell sanded, primed, and painted. Alan consulted with us and got a great custom color to match the floors. His crew are very courteous, hard working and aim to please. They moved everything to the middle of the room and covered it with plastic so nothing would be stained. At the end of each day, they cleaned up after themselves. Lastly, they finished the entire work ahead of schedule (6 days when initially estimated over a week) and the quality of work was superb. We will definitely go with them for any other projects we have. I highly recommend using them, and will do so to my friends/family as well.

I have this in text writing, so if anyone is interested I can give to you They are 2 come back 3 times They put new vent covers on my wall , two of them were coming up from the wall and were crooked They came back to repair that I had window frames put on my accent wall, that too was chipping and falling apart from the wall Next was in my hallway next to the thermostat, they did not sand the wall but just painted it and there was a bump / line going down the wall Now keep in mind , I had 2 new bay windows put in , new front door and sanded and refinished my hardwood floors, Gabriel knew this as I showed him everything and asked him to keep away from windows and door which he did When he fixed the bump in my wall, he was explaining to me with the heat gun in his handbook tales 10 minutes to dry do forth and so on , then he threw the gun on my floor Next day I realized he scratched my newly done flooring I notified him and I have all the texts to prove this , I asked him to get a professional man in that specializing in hardwood floors Guess he doesn't know one , he said he would give my money back I said either that , or just get someone on here to fix your damage Words went back and forth Haven't heard from him , if I don't hear from him I will make reports on LinkedIn, Facebook and better business bureau I suggest keep highly away from Gabriel He talks a good of bullshit snd will damage your home, he will be reported to all for his actions and language to me and non payment/ repairs of his work

This was the second time I've used Monk's for painting projects at my home in Morris Plains, and…read moreonce again I was extremely happy with the results. The first project, several years ago, involved painting multiple interior rooms and crown molding. Most recently, I hired them to paint three new structural porch columns and my front door. While that may sound like a straightforward job, it really wasn't. Black structural columns are not something you see every day, so preparation, product selection, and attention to detail were critical to getting the look I wanted and ensuring the finish would hold up to the elements. Bob came out to provide the estimate. He was professional, easy to work with, and, most importantly, took the time to listen to what I was trying to achieve and the concerns I had about the project. He was also able to get the work scheduled within the same week. I worked closely with Ron, who I believe was the lead painter on the job. He was incredibly knowledgeable and detail-oriented. I supplied the INSL-X primer recommended for fiberglass columns and discussed paint options with him. He agreed with the approach and helped ensure the project was done the right way rather than just the fastest way. The work took two full days and exceeded my expectations. The crew took great care to protect my brand-new porch, covering the decking and railings thoroughly so there was no risk of paint getting where it didn't belong. What really stood out was the follow-up. Both Bob and Ron checked in independently after the work was completed to make sure I was satisfied. They also made it clear that if any issues came up, they would come back and make it right. The pricing was fair, the workmanship was excellent, and the customer service was outstanding from start to finish. It's refreshing to work with a company that still takes pride in doing quality work and standing behind it. I plan to use Monk's again next year for additional interior painting projects and would not hesitate to recommend them.
