Great company with great people. I switched to Five Star after watching their driver in our neighborhood (Foxfire) for several weeks. He is very efficient in his work, running from truck to trash cans and back. He greets everyone he sees and always with a smile. On my morning walk one day, I saw an older woman trying to get her trash can down the steep driveway, to the curb. The driver ran up the hill, brought the can down and dumped it, and ran it back up the hill and was laughing and talking with her the whole time. What a great asset this guy is to the company. I wouldn't recommend these company to anyone the owner of the Knoxville five star is Kimberly Turner. She is rude. She is arrogant and very unprofessional. After trying to speak with her on several occasions she kept hanging up in my face and then continue to text me on my cell phone and my Facebook telling me that she's going to call her lawyer on me for continuing to call Mind you. I have service with them and she had the truckers to come and pick up my trashcan after we spoke, she took it upon herself to disconnect my service which was wrong, and then on top of that she wanted to bully me by continuing to call my phone and my social media, but turned around and said that she was going to put her lawyer on me after disconnecting my service and hanging up on me repeatedly after calling to talk about it she started yelling and screaming and getting real hysterical over the phone. I told her that I was gonna record her so every time I called back, she would not continue the conversation this lady is pretty evil and I wouldn't refer this company to anyone. Garbage truck cracked the curb in front of my house. When I called to speak with them about it Kim, the owner, proceeded to cuss me out then send her husband to my house to try to intimidate me. If I could leave them 0 stars, I would. Absolutely terrible customer service. I was told there was no weight limit and then got told that the dumpster was too heavy after I filled it up halfway. FIVE STAR WASTE gets no stars from me. My previous home trash collection services have been more than helpful over 30 years. When trying to resole a conflict about where and how my trash would be picked up at the door, I was like in no uncertain terms they didn't want me as a customer. Then the woman hung up in my face.
