Unfortunately I didn't have a positive experience with Bill the handyman. I called him to get a quote and got his voicemail, which prompted me to "better yet, send a text" with the job description and information... which I did. I sent a thorough explanation of the job(s) we needed completed and asked whether or not he could handle plumbing as well as how he charges--by the hour or by the job. He couldn't be bothered to give me a returned phone call, but 3 hours later he returned my text with a short text that said "We are booked through mid August. Sorry. Best Wishes." I then responded explaining that nothing we were having done with the home was mission critical and I didn't mind pushing the booking a little far out in advance-- and could he please tell me if he could handle the plumbing and how he charges (since he neglected to answer those questions the last time). Needless to say, he didn't respond. I even followed up with another text asking "Hi Bill, did you see my last message?" and nothing. Rude, and unprofessional. I understand there might be a lot of work to go around at the moment, but that's really no excuse for completely disregarding a client and writing them off. Guess I dodged a bullet. This guy lost a great potential client with a lot of work. read more

I'm so happy that I found Bill (through Yelp)! I am always on the hunt for a good handyman that can help with things at our 100 year old house. I sent a message to Bill through his website and he replied within thirty minutes, visited the same day, and completed the job two days later. His communication skills are impecible and he's a super nice guy to boot. I already refered him to a coworker who was having a plumbing issue, Bill fixed his issue the same day! I needed two ceiling fans replaced. Megan promptly came out and did job in a couple hours. I also asked her to do some minor wood repair. She said she would go get materials and call me when she could come back. Came back the following week and took care of the repairs. Very happy with their work and response. read more

I had Bill do some projects for my on my house in Springdale. He built a cellar door for my basement, which he had never done before. The project was a huge success and I am extremely please with his craftsmanship. We also put a new screen door on the back of the house and again he did a really nice job.
