Viewpoint of the city of Alesund, port & fjords. This viewpoint s the highest point in Alesund. It was a cloudy morning, I was told if I could see the top we will have a view. Christopher Rangers statue was here. He is famous because he wrote guidebooks for hikes. There were WWII bunkers & cannons here too. This was a must see! read more

There is a viewpoint on top of this hill with an awesome view of Alesund. It's an easy hike up the stairs that less than 1000 steps. You can find the bottom of the stairs in the middle of a park. There are plenty of "viewpoints" at different elevations along the stairs. Lots of photo opportunities. So worth the "hike", especially when it's so easy. Also, it's free! read more
