As a fan and owner of Fjallraven, I will NEVER go in this store again. On a recent weekend, my daughter and I walked into Fjallraven Burlington. As I browsed the mens wear, my 9-year old Black daughter remained exceptionally well-behaved and within my eyesight. Then I heard a Fjallraven Burlington staff member ask my daughter if she were "by herself." So I walked away from browsing out into the open and asked the staff member "Sav (?)" if I could help with anything. The staff member said, "This is not a children's store. You need to keep your kid with you." The Fjallraven Burlington's staff member traumatized my daughter. No one should be treated like this. Unacceptable. read more

I was excited to see that Burlington has a Fjallraven store because I never knew they even existed (and now I know there's one in Ann Arbor, Michigan too)! I had been thinking about buying a Fjallraven Kanken backpack (you know the one, the adorable square backpack that looks like a little kid's bag) for awhile so it was neat to see them in person and all the different colors. They also have lots of outdoor gear, other backpacks, apparel, and a sale area in the lower level. We stopped in twice during our long weekend in Burlington and the employees were really helpful and friendly, offering to show us any color of bag we could imagine and explaining some of the features of some of the products. The store is large and fully stocked with anything you need to be a cool Swedish hipster in nature! The products they sell are pretty pricey but the backpack we got is guaranteed for life and is water-resistant due to the beeswax coating. I really enjoyed checking out this shop and was impressed by the knowledge and friendliness of the staff. read more

Awesome store with top-notch staff. My boyfriend and I visited today and each bought two coats with the wonderful help of Sarah. This Fjallraven has two levels. The first floor is regular, full-priced items. The basement (just down the staircase) is the sale/outlet section. There you'll find lots of samples, one off items & last year's styles at reduced prices. Despite this being the "discounted" section of the store, Sarah was ever so helpful in assisting us with selecting coats. She was knowledgeable about Fjallraven as a brand (like how they ethically source down -- awesome!) and also knew so much about each product we picked up. This helped us select coats that truly were right for us (beyond just the right physical fit). What I didn't know until we were at the register purchasing the coats, was that Fjallraven offers complementary lifetime warranties. Out of the four sale coats we purchased, two were "final sale" and the other two carried the lifetime warranty (samples are final sale). We also felt the "sale" section here at Fjallraven Burlington was much better than what you find online so if you're looking for a deal definitely check out the basement level of Fjallraven on Church Street. read more

We stopped in here during a fun event they were having to support women getting into the outdoors and adventuring. They had a cool van out front that someone converted into a camper van and we made it just in time for a raffle! Everyone in the store was very welcoming and friendly. It's a nice, laid back environment in here and we got some great gear! I got a thermos for camping, my friends got a water repellant crossbody purse and a cute grey sweatshirt. The downstairs of the store has their "outlet" stuff with some good deals! read more

This store was my very first encounter with Fjallraven and now half my clothes are this brand. I wear their Vidda Pro trousers almost every day. And their Portugese-made wool shirts. And we have a bunch of their wool beanies. You can do anything in these clothes. Anyway it's a great store. Go here and check out their stuff, and chitchat with the nice and dedicated employees. The Fjallraven website is also good and has free returns, and includes delicious individually-wrapped Swedish fishes with each order. But the in-store prices are sometimes better than online, because of sales. And as a bonus, you might see Bernie Sanders walking by outside, like I did once, and he is always up for a selfie. My only problem with Fjallraven is, they discontinued their short-inseam trousers in the US. Bring them back! read more

I love my backpacks/lunchbox from Fjallraven! The store is clean, peaceful and even smells great. The service was attentive, but not pushy. They didn't have the lunchbox color my son wanted, but they had it shipped overnight to us for FREE! I also appreciate that they donate some of their profits to nature conservation. read more

We live in Florida and don't have a physical store near us but we love Fjallraven, especially the duffels and bags. My husband's split pack had a small tear beginning at the strap and even tho we didn't get our bag from their location the team at this store went above and beyond to repair our bag and ship it back to us- good as new. Quality products backed by their commitment to repair or replace make them totally worth the price. We would much rather keep a few high quality bags a long time than replace cheap ones frequently. Wow! All I can say is WOW! I've never purchased anything from this store, but I visit every chance that I can get. The store is designed beautifully, and the goods offered are top-notch. Everything from the wooden sunglasses to the hatchets to the backpacks radiate high quality. I once spent nearly an hour in the store chatting with the associate; she was so passionate about everything that they carried--it didn't feel at all like a sales pitch, it was genuine. I wish that I was more "outdoorsy" so that I had an excuse to spend money here! Definitely recommended. read more

Outstanding staff, great product selection and a lot of diversity in winter jackets. They also carry a great selection of boots and outerwear. I've been in this store twice during my visit to Burlington and felt with two different employees. Both of them were so helpful, laid back and informative. They were not pressuring sales people at all and actually cared about their customers satisfaction. I would highly recommend stopping in this shop while in Burlington. There are other locations in the u.s and I hope all the others are as good as this. read more

While the products and selection are nice, the customer service is far from (with the exception of Mike). On Saturday 8/7/15, I purchased an expensive Helle knife (around $190), but I learned it was 30% off yesterday. While I understand that they are not obligated to give me the difference, most retail stores in this area understand that this can make a customer feel taken advantage of and are willing to oblige for the sake of doing the right thing. Instead, I was told that "these things happen" and to "keep a better watch out for their sales." Clearly profit is more of a concern for this store than customer satisfaction. read more

Feeling the need to express my recent experience at Fjallraven Burlington, VT. I had a need for a certain garment intended for rugged outdoor physical training. The employees and management at FjallRaven made the experience awesome. They knew exactly what I was looking for and why. Everyone wants to feel great about spending money on quality product-Fjallraven made this happen. Cant say enough about this stores quality and employees.
