I love this place!!!! I'm so glad they have one in gardena now ;) The owner is so nice! I always call my order in for pick up and it's always hot and fresh! I love their white meat only chicken teriyaki bowls with white rice :)

Half and half plate with white rice, veggies and fruit.

Ordered pick up over the phone. Lady cashier was very friendly. The food was great. Fresh off the grill is the way to go. Thank you for being near me.

Located in the backside of the Vons parking lot, with limited parking due to other businesses. Great healthy fast food! They have great teriyaki sauce or if like it spicy they offer their own hot sauce. They give you plenty of food from chicken, veggies to a Korean bbq meat. For people with food allergies, this a place that is among the best to go to. My favorite is the steak and veggie over brown rice. Their soda machine needs some cleaning, was bit sticky.

Never tried this fast food chain out. Glad I finally did at one of the newest locations. It's clean, speedy, and the cashier was friendly. So much better than Yoshinoya and those gross teriyaki joints in malls. And yeah better than Rascal's too; it never won me over in all my years in the G! A much needed break from sandwiches and fast food burgers when I'm making an auto parts run. Get the green onion topping. And the mini-bowl is great for a light snack / meal.

Proof that the cook is not wearing a uniform nor a hair net or hat.

In conjunction with my last review, today I came in and the prices have been raised a bunch (I know they can't really control that with taxes increasing). But the point of this update is to highlight that the cook never wears a uniform, a hair net, or anything. Picture below to proof it. Also, the girl at the front went to the back to help and didn't wear a hair net either. Seriously considering not coming here anymore. Definitely not a ranked "A" Health restaurant.

Finally I remembered to use my coupon!

This is mine and hubby's favorite flame broiler location! The food here is always fresh and tasty. The meat is always cooked perfectly. The portions here are generous, and I always find myself being barely able to finish a regular sized bowl, or being unable to finish it. This is our go-to place when we want to eat something healthy, quick, and affordable. I usually like to call on our way for orders for pick-up.

The works bowl w/ brown rice & green onion on top w/ a reg. Minute Maid Light.

Walking in on a Saturday, the place was buzzing with patrons, so I knew this had to be up to par with many of the ono spots serving Japanese and Hawaiian cuisine in the area. My friend I chose to order two dishes. Our choices were the Ladybug Fried Chicken and Fried Rice with Char Siu. The Fried Rice comes with Miso Soup. The Miso Soup was served first. It had a light and savory broth that was comforting. It had a good umami rich miso flavor and made for a good soothing start for the meal. Up next, we got to try the Fried Rice with Char Siu. The Fried Rice had a surprising reddish color that perfectly matched the char siu. It added a nice visual cue to the sweet, smoky flavor. The Ladybug Fried Chicken was my favorite. It was freshly fried, golden and crispy. I enjoyed the juicy and tender meat and the crunchy outside. It is served with rice, green salad and potato-mac. I wish there was an option to upgrade to fried rice because this fried chicken really paired well with the fried rice. Nevetheless, I did enjoy this chicken with the potato-mac as well. The potato-mac was creamy and was so ono. Overall, Ladybug Cafe is a solid spot in Gardena for some classic Japanese and Hawaiian eats!

I love coming here, as the food is consistently great. The brisket is really tasty and they give you a good portion of it. Soup is always hot, not lukewarm which I appreciate. I genuinely think their sullungtang is the best I've had! I was really happy that this time, they had purple rice. The past few times, they only had white rice, so this was such a great change! Not sure why they were out of the purple rice for so long, but glad that it's back! Banchans are great with unlimited refills! The menu is unique, blending Japanese flavors with perfectly cooked spaghetti, and every dish tastes like it's been refined over decades. We've been coming since day one and everything is still fabulous after all these years. The pasta is consistently cooked al dente, the sauces are rich and flavorful without being heavy, and the ingredients always taste fresh. Whether you're ordering a classic mentaiko pasta, a creamy uni dish, or one of their garlic-based specialties, every plate is packed with flavor. The house-made bread is outstanding and the famous $1 salad is a must-order. The restaurant itself is cozy and unpretentious, which adds to its charm. Service is friendly, efficient, and welcoming, even when the place is busy. It's easy to see why Spoon House has remained a South Bay institution for so many years. If you're a pasta lover or simply looking for something different from the usual Italian restaurant experience, this place is absolutely worth the visit. I'll definitely be back.

This is in a little food court, but a high quality food court. There are so many great options here! Theres a parking lot, and plenty of seating inside and outside. It's a causal spot, nice and clean with plenty of options. You place your order at the counter (you can use the ipad to order, except if you want the Fak'ed up fries, those you need to order with an employee). The shrimp - I could eat these forever. Holy toledos these are so good. I got the karaage chicken with the cheehoo teri sauce. The sauce is soooooo bomb. The chicken is perfectly cooked. And the red noon is the perfect addition of acidity. The Mac salad was great, stick to your ribs kinda good Now I ordered several other plates for my friend, including the teriyaki chicken, and the fak'ed up fries with shrimp and karaage chicken. He said the fak'ed up fries were fire, so good, he didn't even know that's exactly what he wanted. I have to come back to try them - I didn't know they were a thing bc they're not on the menu. But after I placed my original order I saw a video of the fak'ed up fries on their board and they looked so good, I had to buy them for him. I also got him the crispy spam musubi and the POGua Fresca, and he loved those. I will definitely DEFINITELY be back here!

There are a lot of new options and unfortunately no more chicken katsu. After my previous review, the owner actually reached out and offered to have me come back and try the food again, which I genuinely appreciated. I never took them up on the free food offer because I prefer to keep reviews honest, but the gesture still stood out to me. This time I ordered the 2-item combo with the honey sesame chicken karaage and kalua pork. The karaage was easily my favorite part of the meal. It was crispy, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. I asked for all the sauces on the side and the green sauce paired really well with it. The kalua pork was tender, but a little sweeter than I personally prefer for traditional kalua pork, so I'd probably try a different protein next time instead. I also grabbed a spam musubi, but the portions were so generous that I didn't even get around to eating it until I got home later. While I still miss the old chicken katsu, I get that menus evolve, and overall this visit was a much better experience than my previous one.
