My family and I have been coming to this buffet for years. Over time, we noticed the crowds getting smaller, but we still gave the place the benefit of the doubt. Unfortunately, after our visit this past Sunday, we won't be returning. On our very first plate, my sister found an aluminum wire mixed into her fried rice. Not a hair, not a bone but an actual wire. As you can imagine, everyone at the table immediately lost their appetite. We flagged down the waitress, and she quickly took the plate away before anyone else nearby could see it. Thankfully, I managed to take a photo. She brought the manager over, and his explanation made the situation even worse. He claimed that the wire must have come from the "brush they use to clean," and insisted it was okay. That reasoning made absolutely no sense. If the wire came from a cleaning brush, why wasn't the wok rinsed properly? And if it somehow ended up inside the fried rice, what exactly is going on in the kitchen? How many people have eaten these wires without noticing over the years? Food safety is not something to be brushed off with excuses. This was our last visit here. If you care about cleanliness and proper kitchen standards, I would proceed with caution. read more

I'd been meaning to check this place out and was pleased to have a good experience here. I am in a powered wheelchair and the staff offered to help me plate my food, which was very kind of them. Their main focus is seafood, and 15.99$ for the buffet on a Sunday felt more than fair (it's cheaper on weekdays). The food quality was fine for a buffet, and nothing tasted bad or expired. I've been to Flamin' hot buffet a few times but today was not okay. I had 3 kids with me, all of whom were 10 years old. When I was asked about their ages, I provided that information. However, one of the staff members pointed out a sign at the front stating that children aged 10 must be under 5 feet tall, and that pricing may vary depending on their weight. While I understand that businesses may have policies related to pricing, I was taken aback by the way this information was communicated. Singling out a child based on their height or weight can be perceived as body shaming, which is not appropriate--especially in front of others. I believe there are more respectful and discreet ways to address such matters, particularly when children are involved. This is not okay. Do better please. read more

We have a son that is born on 04/14/2021, and the owners said he was too tall. They charged him as a three year old even though he can't get before and they treated him as a two year old. They have fried blue crabs, steamed crawfish from Louisiana, clams and blue shell mussels. They're delicious. Serving staff are helpful and attentive. The place is clean and well lit. It's very spacious inside and clean. When we went there, it was right after lunch, so it wasn't busy. There was only 1 server working and she seated us fairly fast and got our drink order(They have Pepsi product). The buffet choice was very simple. Maybe, because it was still lunch time, they had less items, I don't know. I don't eat meat, so I had marinated cooked mushrooms, fried rice, lo mein noodles and chow fun. I thought they tasted good. I had hot and sour soup and it was good. Honestly, I think I had better Chinese buffet with much more options, but I wanted to give this place a try. The place is located on a strip mall with plenty of parking. Although, parking was more limited directly in front of the restaurant. But if you drive around, you should be able to find parking. Once you walk in, the hostess will seat you. A waitress will then take your drink order and you can then go ahead and get up and help yourself to some food at the buffet. There were about 3 or 4 long tables with different assortments of food. 1 table was for dessert. 1 table was for salads. And the other 2 were for entrees with 1 of the tables also including soups. I believe you can also get hibachi but I didn't have time to explore that option. For seafood, they had some kind of battered fish filet and the other option was shrimp sauteed in with some vegetables. The rest of the items were fried and battered, or breaded and sauced. The food was okay, and nothing to write home about. I wish they had a better assortment of healthier options, such as grilled or steamed entrees. The wings were a little sweet for me to handle The pork belly was too sweet for me to handle But great customer service like elite they paid very good attention to us and serve us quickly. I've been here twice now and both times food was good, flavorful, staff was nice and attentive. The clam broth was the star of the show. Get the claim broth and add some green onions to it. That's it, it was amazing. Gave them 4 stars instead of 5 because I've been here on Saturday for dinner and have not seen snow scrab legs. Not sure if it's only on Friday dinner but so far I have not seen any. The salt and peper crabs are good, so are the shrimps. I really enjoyed the fired bananas. This doesn't even deserve a star. When did places start discriminating in broad daylight. My daughter is 10 yrs old and tall. I was told that because she was five feet she would be charged adult prices. They didn't measure my daughter the just sized her up. The manage on duty stated for me to look at the sign that said that there may be a difference in pricing based on height and size. I will not eat some where that wants to discriminate. This place utilizes their complete discretion of charging everyone as an adult, simply based upon (THEIR interpretation of) a child's height and/or weight; Further lining their coffers with an overpriced offering of sub-par food, whilst serving such horribly inedible buffet items, coupled with non-existent service. Our server was super rude and hovered over us while we were eating. A couple of times, she rolled her eyes while filling our waters and didn't even smile. She also gave us the bill before we were done with our meal and was pressuring us to pay. As we left disappointed in both the food and service, she yelled at us "No tips!". Decided to take my niece here, knowing she might now actually end up eating (picky eater), I asked when coming in if kids under 3 eat free as the menu says kids is (3-8) for about $6. I was told her kids under 3 eat free. After eating, I received my total and saw I was charged for my niece who's not even 2 1/2 and is short for her age. The wallpaper is literally coming apart at the seams and "repaired" using packing tape. The whole place just seems gross. Perfect breeding ground for bacteria, especially with all the lemons spilled over and floating in it.
