    Hibachi plate
    Sara G.

We came here 3x within two weeks of discovering this spot. There's a huge selection of Chinese American dishes spread across four stations. In the back, you can assemble your own hibachi and wait while it's grilled. They also have salad bar and desert stations with rotating options. Above the buffet is a cool galaxy ceiling, and there is a fairly large party room in the back. The cashiers, hostesses, and bussers are all friendly and helpful.

There are very well research criteria to determine a top tier Chinese/American buffet. These have gone through rigorous trials and are FDA approved: 1) It's packed. This ensures a constant parade of fresh meat sheen with corn starch to refill the bins 2) A fresh grill labelled 'Hibachi or Mongolian' that somehow adds the perfect char 3) happy helpful weight staff 4) an average weight of 250 of the clientele and the the occasional 'failed my gastric bypass because of this place' 5) the American fare is above average This place my not look glamorous but it got all the stops

Very cheap for the quantity of food offered

This is a very nice all you can eat buffet. Friendly staff and lots of food. Don't expect top quality food or any type of luxury but for 12 bucks plus tax (lunch on a Saturday afternoon) I can't complaint. Everything from Chinese food to American, fast food including hibachi, sushi, pasta, etc. definitely worth it!

My son loves buffets. He wanted to go here for his birthday and of course we obliged. The food was absolutely delish. We brought in a cake and the waiters sung happy birthday. They even have a special birthday song that plays over the speakers in the restaurant. We had a really nice time. Staff was very attentive. We will be back again.

Food was good . I would come back since the price is reasonable. But I love the fact they play Latin music!

Update 12/22/19 The sushi fish/tuna/ salmon is minced to the point it's hard to tell what it is. And dare I say laced w/ starch fillers to stretch it even more

You make your plate, weigh and pay about $10 per pound. My feijoada plate from the attached picture had a little less than a pound so I paid around $9 which is a great deal especially if you compare to other restaurants in the area. The restaurant is somewhat small, simple, but there are enough tables for everyone even during lunch hours. Staff is friendly, they give you privacy to pick your food without anyone bothering you, food is tasty and the variety is ok. I wish they had Brazilian barbecue similar to other restaurants in the area but I can't really complain because the food and price were great. Compared to other Brazilian restaurants in the area this place has a big advantage because the process is very simple. Other restaurants such as Casa Nova, Cantinho Mineiro, Delícia de Minas also offer a buffet option but their process is very complicated. They have a prix fixe option for a set price and then if you add meat it's a different price, if you want to take something to go you need to pick a prix fixe container for a different price. It's just too confusing and I don't really like that, hence my preference for this Brazilian buffet restaurant. Don't expect any luxury or lots of variety. This is a practical restaurant offering food for a fair price. I definitely recommend it. Note that there's just street parking and the Wilson Ave area tends to be busy so keep that in mind.

We had to compete with a graduation party and thus service was a little slower than we would have liked. The highlight was of course the picanha! It was crispy, salty and perfectly savoury! We also enjoyed the garlic steak. They also offer a buffet offering fresh salad, vegetables, and other sides. I really enjoyed their chimichurri sauce as well! The Mixed Meat option had several different preparations of beef and a sausage served with a salad, french fries, and white rice. It was a generous portion of meat in a large plate. For dessert we all had the Serradura (Portuguese Sawdust Pudding) which was made with a meringued cream, whipped cream, and crushed cookies mixed together. Very delicious, not too sweet and not too filling. All around there was brick, stone and solid wood. I felt like I was in what I imagined a restaurant in Portugal would be like back in the day. The servers were friendly. I gives me the sense that it is a good place to have a range of events - from a business lunch to a celebratory party. There is lots of space in the restaurant with different rooms. One room seemed specifically set up for large parties whereas another room was set up like a typical restaurant. The meal also came with rice, beans, plantains, and pico de gallo, which were all delicious and complemented the meats really well. We also ordered mashed potatoes on the side, which were fantastic. Kearny KPOT has almost ~13K reviews on Google with a 4.9 rating, which means just wow! So we decided to go there instead of our nearby Parsippany location. The first thing that disappointed us was the waiting time. They only take reservations for parties of 6+, and we ended up waiting about 70 minutes, with a kid along with us. Since we had already driven 35 minutes, we decided to stick it out. We got the A2 table. Our server, Pickel Rick, explained the whole Hot Pot + BBQ concept. We chose both options together--and the whole table has to agree on the same setup (so one person can't do only hot pot while another does only BBQ...Come on, they are smart too Hot pot was $32 and +$5 more and you can have both= means $37 per person + tax... The BBQ grill lets you control the heat, and the induction keeps your hot pot soup warm. Ordering is all done through a tablet on the table. This is an all-you-can-eat thing, any meat (Pork, Beef, seafood, chicken, Lamb) for BBQ... and you can increase/decrease the temperature of the BBQ. So it's all sorted out! Induction is there to keep your soup/pot warm, order any type of noodles (Ramn-Rice-Pho to add in your soup with all veggies, dumplings, and whatnot, so keep ordering from the tab they give you to order. They have a big selection of meats, seafood, veggies, and sauces. The quality is decent, and the food comes out quickly. The hotpot broth has good flavor, and grilling the meats at the table is enjoyable. It's basically a "cook your own food" style, so it's fun if you like that kind of thing. It was a fun experience, ordering chicken/prawn/jumbo prawns/ lamb/ dumplings = putting it in soup or into BBQ platter... some got less cooked, some were well, and some I am gonna call "well done" We were there for about 2 hours, which is actually their time limit. They even mentioned you get a small refund if you leave early (first time hearing that!). Also, if you're celebrating a birthday with a group of 6+, the birthday person eats free. That's a nice perk! Great, hearing this first time... There is also a sauce bar station - for all sauces, fried rice, Fries, and Fruits Service can get a bit slow when the place is packed--we had to wait for forks/spoons at one point. But overall, it's a fun place to go with friends or family, especially if you like trying something different.
